Well. Decided to take a nap. Dreamt my wife was trying to wake me up. Woke up groggy, disoriented, and shaky. Not sure if that nap was worth it.

I've got nuts! They are hickories and I harvested them from wild trees and they are drying right now.

I like having a naming system for my chapters. One for Sorrow is easy. All the chapters are a line of the nursery rhyme or a lyric from a song based on the nursery rhyme. It makes it much easier for me to hit send on a chapter. Other fics... the hardest part is when the chapter is written and I'm on ao3 on the submission page and staring down the blank chapter title box.

So the other day my daughter decided to prove to me she could stand still for the 20 minutes she asked her brother to (she wanted to "portrait" him). With five minutes left I decided to sketch her. And I did. It's real funny cause it looks like her and it's terrible quality. So she asked me to color her. I almost forgot. So I spent 20 minutes flat coloring this portrait. I'll let you know if she roasts me in the morning.
