Bread, Milk and Sugar can be used in a spell to maintain household prosperity.
Salt, black pepper and Cayenne Pepper can be used in protective and jinxing spells.
If you had to get three thread colours, go for white, black and red. White for general "right hand" work, black for general "left hand work" as well as things such as protection, binding and the like. Red Thread for any work that requires a boost.
Do not undermine the powers of knot magick.
Sex magick can be touch and go but generally is empowered by a build up of energy.
Mirrors can act as a portals, divination devices, amplify magick, protect, bind and so on and so forth. A compact mirror can be used to close someone's energy in on themselves if their image is placed in the mirror, the mirror closed and bound with either red or black thread.
Chewing on lavender helps get rid of headaches and promotes sleep but I will tell you now that the taste is awful and extremely potent. Like my da used to say - if the medicine tastes like shit, that's how you know it works.

Egg cleanse. How to & their meaning!
Have you heard about egg cleanses? If you believe evil or someone is out to get you, this is a sure way to tell.
It's pretty simple!
Start by running your egg under water and setting your intention. Be specific with your intent.
Burn an incense or some herbs (frankincense :)) and let your egg run through the smoke.
Rub your egg on your body from your head to your toes. Focus on the egg absorbing the negative energy in your body.
Crack the egg into a glass of water.

Next, it's time to read your results.
Here are the meanings of an egg cleanse:
Bubble rising - Negativity
Figures in the yolk - Envy
Nails/Needles shapes - someone does not want you to succeed, you have an enemy
Coating on the yolk - someone is angering you
Red or black spots on the yolk - Illness/disease
Cloudy/Black/Gray yolk - Evil is near you
White halos around the yolk - making decisions too quickly
Clouds/swirls in yolk - people want you to fail
Bubbles around the yolk - good spirits are watching over you
Cobwebs - someone is jealous of you

A Druidic Meal Blessing
Roots of Gratitude Blessing
So that we may bless and consecrate this sustenance to our life force,
We give thanks to those who have prepared this meal for us.
We give thanks to those who have brought these provisions to our table.
We give thanks to the laborers who have worked hard, from fields to markets, and places between.
We give thanks to the plants and to the animals who have died so that we may live.
We give thanks to the Earth-Mother, the source of all nourishment.
We give thanks to Grannos, to Sirona, to Taranis, to Llyr and to Danu, whose waters flow with the essence that sustains life within, on, and above the Earth-Mother.
We give thanks to Belenos whose light and warmth allow life and water to exist upon the Earth-Mother.
We give thanks to Be'al, the source of our Awareness of these blessings.
And we give thanks to Braciaca and to present company for sharing this feast in joyful fellowship.
May the Lord of the Groves unite us in the roots of our gratitude.
So be it.

Witch Tip:
Get a copy of the map of your area. Not a country map, a state map, or even a county map. Your area. You can print off a Google map if a commercial version isn't available.
Take the map with you everywhere you go. Make notes on it of things you notice - does one area feel different to you? Does a tree live among many dead ones? Do you see the same cat sitting on the same fence post at the same time every morning? Where do bees live? What crossroads catch your eye? Is there a cemetary?
Once you've filled the map with your observations, keep it in your grimoire for reference.
