According to DC Comics, Tim was legally adopted by Bruce. While it starts out as a mentor-mentee relationship, they do end up as family.

To me, it doesn't matter if they're adopted or blood related. Stories I've seen (and disengage with/blocked best I can) where Persons C and D are dating and Person C's guardian starts dating Person D's guardian give me the ick, especially when the kids keep dating after they become siblings or the guardians keep dating after they've become in-laws.

My dad doesn't like pics of himself (I get that from him). Today, though, was Hawaiian Shirt Friday at his work, and went and bought a Star Wars themed Hawaiian Shirt and he has now been inducted into the club, complete with a tiny palm tree to prove it. He got home and had mom take a pic of him in his shirt. We now have exactly one picture my father knows he is in.
