YOU LIKE TO THINK THAT EVERYONE’S JUST A SCRAPBOOK OF ALL THE PEOPLE THEY’VE EVER LOVED.

You know, like your outspoken intellect from the countless of times Keeho has pushed you to think out loud. Or maybe those laughing habits you’ve picked up from Yunjin where you’d wheeze quietly as you throw your head far back in a reckless bliss. Or a thinking as wishful as Heeseung’s: that there’s always someone out there who feels like you do. And, with no doubt, how Mari helped you realize how deserving you are of such a love that never makes you belittle your own worth. It embraces you.

Yeah, they’re all the people you need.

Yet still, you find yourself clinging onto that old teddy bear— the one that’s supposed to magnetically connect to its other half, the one that’s supposed to complete half the heart that reads: ‘Best Frie’ (well, if it still can). You once saw an old friend of yours tie his shoelace into four propeller knots and thought it was the stupidest thing ever until you found yourself tying it that way too. You stopped potting real flowers the moment the boy you once thought was yours started making paper ones for you, in dreaming fulfillment that they’d last forever. And everytime you write, you subconsciously tap your index finger on the edge of a pencil to relax your grip, even if you don’t have that someone to remind you to do so anymore. You find yourself clinging onto the people who come and go.

Choi Beomgyu is definitely one of the many people.

You’ll find him in many things. A few memorized guitar chords. Random facts about the moon. Borrowed sweater vests. Dark humor. Your favorite places to go. And so on.

You hate it.

You can’t recall the last time you’ve found something solely based upon your own pique of interest. If you were to find it, then you’ll find him there too.

No wonder why it hurts when people leave.
