Goron Ruby Is Found Under The Slopes Of Death Mountain. Thanks To The Specific Geologic Processes They
Goron Ruby is found under the slopes of Death Mountain. Thanks to the specific geologic processes they endured during formation, the cracks that lace the stone seem to glow like Earth's molten core.
This earring has four stones in a special setting that allows light to pass through, making them glow spectacularly in the sunlight.
This is the last of the four installments of interpreting @anartweirdosworld's earring designs as 3D models. This one I agonized over a lot. The original shows the two side jewels connected by string, but the static analysis doesn't hold up (har har har). The entire time I was making the others, I was trying to come up with a suitable way to connect them to the middle. The simple bars it ended up with I think match the style of the rest of the design relatively well and feel "Goron" enough.
I have been taking notes and having ideas, so this may not be the last of the loz crest-inspired models I make, extrapolating from the original designs by @anartweirdosworld. Stay tuned for more!

Maybe there is an exit this way?
The main poolrooms project I'm working on has managed to escape the liminal feeling I wanted and is now sitting halfway between poolrooms and mallcore. I made this scene to try and return to the bizarre architecture that poolrooms are known for.
I did not originally intend to include my work-in-progress dewott model. I did a number of test renders of various compositions of the set (there is an area above the water as well) but the camera angles I chose didn't feel right without anyone to set the scene. I rigged the model enough to make this pose.
If you liked it and want to see more, please say so.

Hello ! Mimi here ! It's the first time I post something ! So exiting !
Anyway, because The Legend of Zelda is my life, let me introduce you to my AU : Trial of the Godesses !!! (The name is temporary ^^)
Ask me anything about it, I'll be happy to answer and/or doing some requests (even if I'm really slow and not really experienced...)
See you soon !!!
It ain't fair
Look at this gorgeous hair material. It's so luscious and perfect! And the best part is it works with - wait, cycles you say? The worst part is that it's cycles only!

Anisotropy doesn't work in eevee, and as a result the hair looks a lot more bland.

I've already tried the tangent + layer weight combo, and it just isn't the same. I'm heartbroken that this effect is locked behind cycles; my computer is not powerful enough to render animations with cycles in any meaningful amount of time.
I was scrolling through my feed and I distinctly noticed every post was a banger. Awesome stuff on every post.
I was scrolling through my liked posts. Mystery solved.
My face when weight painting

Haha I jest. This is a test of the lips weight painting, which I'm still not satisfied with after six hours of tweaking. Trying to get the mouth corners to behave in the correct fashion is very annoying. I am not sure if it's a rig issue, a topology issue, or a skill issue.
I also finished the teeth, finally. I was dragging my feet hard on finishing them because the molars were relatively complicated. I tried out the multiresolution modifier and that was the solution to getting it done.
I am making decent progress on finishing the character model. I have to weight paint the rest of the face and feet and hands. Maybe I can publish something before the one year mark in October.
