yet you don't mind. cause seeing him in a different light, seeing how he had this certain glow in him that not even the shiniest of suns could replicate, made you realise how ready you are for taking another step into your relationship.

you realize that even if youre uncertain about the future and you don't know what might happen, you're not scared. his hand protecting yours was a reminder that whatever direction you were going, you'd do it together. always.

It was going to be the most perfect planned night. He had planned everything, from the food your baby was going to eat so that she could fall asleep as quick as possible, to the costume he was wearing and the handcuffs in his hands that he had stolen from his best friend Jimin, an actual cop. But he didn’t exactly steal it, more like borrowed it since he was on his honeymoon and Jungkook was in charge of taking care of his house while he was absent, handcuffs he had surprisingly found in Jimin’s bedroom. 

You end up giggling when he finally latches the handcuffs behind your back after a little bit of struggle and he whines. "Yah! Stay in character" it was amusing to hear him stomp his feet, almost like he was throwing a fit.

It was jungkook's idea of doing this roleplay. He wanted to spice up your sex life after having your first daughter, and the first thing that came to his mind was to roleplay, since the sir and daddy kink 'thingy' made him giggle like a schoolgirl.

"Sorry, sorry" you try to hide your amused smile as you felt him pressed against you, holding onto the handcuffs with one hand and the other one making sure your front was glued to the wall.

"you're gonna have to come with me" he announces once again, in character. "you have the right to remain silent and anything you say or do may be used against you in the court of our bed.."

you were feeling nervous and kind of sad to see him leaving again, but you knew that crying in front of him would only make things worse, so the only thing you decided to do was to help him with everything before he had to go. as he looked down at your trembling hands and your laboured breath as you finished putting everything in its place, he looked at you with a reassuring kind of goofy smile, and took your cold hands into his warm ones.

"are you going to miss me, jagi?" he asks pulling you onto his side, and you cannot help but place your head in his shoulder. "i am" you answer in a whisper almost impossible to hear, but not for him. "i promise i'll send you a lot of pictures and we'll talk everyday. i'll tell every single person i meet about how i have the coolest and most caring girlfriend in the world" he says with an enthusiast tone, making you smile and ease the pain that was building inside of your heart and stomach. "are you going to tell your coworkers about how you have the coolest boyfriend in the world?" he teasingly asks, and you look at him. "they alredy know, i've been screaming about it since the first day we've been together, jiminie"

and the last minutes you spent with him were full of jokes and teasing words, wishing you could stay by his side at all times, but also feeling your heart a little bit more at ease, ready to let him go. as the managers announced they should get ready to board the plane, he said his goodbyes and when he hugged you for the last time, his hyung, namjoon, took him by his collar and made him let go of you, making both of you laugh.

"i promise you, we'll bring him home safe and sound" namjoon says directly to jimin's mom and also to you, with a confident smile on his face.

[♡] he felt so upset by how it was almost the fourth consecutive night that he had to cancel your usual dinners together. work was beating his ass but at least he was trained to endure it, and at the end of the day, the only thing that truly made his heart feel heavy, was the fact that you'd probably end up feeling sad and disappointed by his unavailability and complications of his work schedule, something that no matter the situation he had no control of.

it had certainly been a problem before, and he can recall a fair share of girls who ended up resenting him for it, and even if he tried to convince himself that you're really different from them, the lack of confidence on your relationship itself still made his shoulders feel heavy. would this relationship fail too?

"are you okay?" he hadn't had the chance to speak but his heart started racing when you looked at him with worry in your eyes, scanning his face and smoothing his hair with your warm hands.

the dimple smile he gave you brought butterflies to your stomach. "i'm so glad you're here" carefully grabbing your wrist, he gives you the faintest most delicate kiss there and finally links both of your hands together, decided on walking to the car that was parked not too far from there, instantly asking you about your day, wanting to know everything about it.

you can feel his chin really close to you and you notice the way he whispers the words in front of him while reading, your biochemistry book intimidating him inmediately. you laugh when you notice he gets up in an instant. "i'm sorry baby, but that's hard.." he sounds kind of sad and you give him a tiny smile, looking up to find him giving you one of those pouts you love so much. "i know.." you mutter, and you slightly caress the hands on your shoulder. "thank you though" he gives you a quick hug with all of his will and you laugh at the sudden jolt of movements, your face full of his dark curls. "tae!" you chuckle once again when he gives you the fattest smooch on your cheek, a tiny peck on your lips joining afterwards.
