I think it's really interesting how similar Zeke and Annie are. Not only do they have similar personalities, but similar backgrounds (idealistic fathers) and ways of coping with killing people (almost making it playful).

Yes! I’ve mentioned it several times on my Twitter and in some asks but I definitely agree on that part!

I’d like to think the two of them bonded over their common past and watched all these morons getting agitated for nothing while we, the intellectuals, are rationalizing. No idea how Marcel and some unnamed warrior were but it must be a relief to have Zeke around for Annie.

Also just paraphrasing my post:

Not only that, but she’s the only warrior kid Zeke calls affectionately (アニちゃん “Annie-chan”). I suggest he projected his younger-self on her when they met, hence the warmhearted display.

I’d love to see a huge warrior flashback with Zeke meeting the young warriors.

For my bachelorette party I want the Captain Levi as streap man dressed in the uniform of the SS ;-P
