started reading ennead (manhwa) yesterday and i'm already halfway through it but damn do i have mixed feelings... like, i love the art and the writing and the characters' designs and complexity but there's so much unnecessary rape :/

also, seth has become quite dear to me and it saddens me every time his relationship with anubis and nephthys is mentioned :( i hope everything works out in the end

i had a dream nandor and guillermo were fighting (probably because of the reveal) and guillermo suddenly hugged him saying something like "you always avoid my hugs" and at first nandor was trying to get away but then he hugged him back and they sat down on the floor and then lied down holding each other thightly for a while

nvm it only got worse for seth 💀 anyway, now that i've finished it, i think i liked season 1 better; it was just more fun to read and overall has better writing. like, the events from season 2 are more interesting but the way they're carried out is a little off: the whole caravan arc was unnecessary, important events only really happen in the last 20 chapters and horus' jealousy of anubis is made into some weird love triangle revolving around seth which... i get that it's for comic relief, but it was funnier with jesus considering anubis is seth's son (i only see osiris as the sperm donor) and doesn't love him in a way horus does

that brings me to horus. see, i thought he was a little weird in the beginning and then i started to really like him (i don't necessarily approve of the idea that seth can't find peace on his own and has to accept horus' love as he's the only one he has), but the moment anubis appeared he reminded me of osiris which... yeah, isn't so good
