i fucking hate people who insist that zhongli and xiao are related when it's literally just a (might i add, weird) headcanon

people really be inventing problems: "they're father and son!" no they're not? "the age gap!" excuse me but last time i checked childe and zhongli have a bigger age gap and the only reason you don't find shipping them weird is because they're the same height??? but the height difference suddenly doesn't make a ship "look wrong" when it's venti and zhongli??? i'm tired of this fucking fandom for making me feel bad for shipping a literal normal ship

like they're literally two unrelated adult characters who are thousands of years old how does this even compare to the real incest and underage ships in the fandom (you know exactly what i'm talking about) like it baffles me that this is even controversial also i'm tired of people who babify someone like xiao who's literally over 2000 years old and of course you can hc and ship whatever you want but that's not what i'm talking about here it's not the father-son hc that makes me mad (even if i don't like it) it's the fact that people act like it's canon and attack everyone who doesn't interpret their relationship that way and unfortunately the vast majority of the fandom (specifically the western part of it) hates on the ship like leave people be and don't comment how you see them as father and son under a romantic fanart or on their shipping wiki page (seriously?) cause why would you be doing that anyway literally just schroll? if it bothers you that much like when i see a kaeluc shipper i won't start a fight and try to change their mind i'll just schroll away knowing there's always gonna be someone i disagree with on the internet genshin impact zhongxiao zhongchi tartali zhongven why are people in this fandom so insufferable sometimes xiaozhong
