This is a headcanon of mine, that might be close to canon: Returno (aka Pops, according to many in the fandom), before going back to Elfwood, lived for a while in Steamland selling sweets with Elfo that was too little to remember.

I used the portrait at the League of Gallivanting Scrutinators that appears in 3x04 “Steamland Confidential” as reference.

My WIP for the @whetherornozine, a Samfrodo zine that will donate proceedings to rainbowrailroad.org, which supports LGBT+ people escaping violence in their countries. I’m thrilled for being a contributor artist 🏳️‍🌈
