His hottest looks idc

Two cute neighbors. Yes, cause why nobody talks about the fact that Sam literally lived in the hill under Frodo and was always at his house hearing Bilbo’s stories probably when also Frodo was there? Let’s talk about it more guys

Can we appreciate Frodo in this scene and his strength in resisting the Ring’s power?
Boromir literally wants to take the Ring from him and Frodo’s reaction is just to walk away.
Remember Sméagol and Deagol? When Sméagol wanted to take the Ring from Deagol, Deagol’s reaction was to try to kill him.
Just to underline the differences
I love how Frodo and Sam’s relationship builds from the start. Sam has a great admiration towards Frodo and Frodo has great sense of affection and protection towards Sam.
Yes also protection: in the books from the start Frodo asks Sam if he still wants to come with him, telling him it’s very dangerous and Sam practically says he would do anything for him. But also when they are in the Tower of Cirith Ungol and Frodo refuses to share the Ring with Sam not because he wants the Ring all for himself but because “it will destroy you Sam”.
Also Frodo would do anything for Sam. They would literally die for each other.

Love catching this little moments of my two little hobbits holding each other in moments of fear
Yes! You’re totally right! In fact, unlike many others, I don’t blame him for leaving the Shire. Fortunately Sam always stayed by his side and indeed they eventually reunited in the Undying Lands🥰
As a LOTR fan I’m so tired of reading things such as: “What would Frodo have done without Aragorn or without Sam and so on for other characters?”. But do you ever wonder what all the other characters would have done without Frodo? He was the only one who had the courage to carry the Ring. In general I saw really few people who just give credit to what Frodo did. All the members of the company are important in the story and they should all be appreciated for what they have done without always making comparisons. I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks this. Lemme know🥰
So today I read a comment on instagram in which somebody said that everything in LOTR could have been done also without Frodo and that he was useless. I wanted to answer “fuck u” but I don’t want to spread hate and so I prefer answering gently to all those who share the same opinion about this. Clearly they haven’t read the books and if they watched the movies they did it superficially. Those who are really passionate about this story can’t hate Frodo. He may not be your favorite character but you can’t really dislike him if you understood the meaning of movies/books. Whether you want it or not Frodo destroyed himself to save Middle Earth this is why I get so angry when people say he’s useless in the story.

I have a big blue eyes boys obsession. Bye

Ehy @hersignfortold thank you for making me almost cry with this thing of Sam being torn into two because Frodo is not with him anymore and probably not managing to feel complete anymore.

-92 years for my 111th birthday
Today is my 19th birthday!! And this is my cake!

I hate this scene but, oh god he is so beautiful
I am literally able to cry after the fifth time I watch LOTR or TH just for the sweetness and courage of hobbits especially of Frodo and Bilbo. I cry more for scenes like Frodo being the only one to offer to take The Ring to Mordor during the Council of Elrond or like Bilbo doing everything to help the company and risks his life to do this than for the actual sad and emotional scenes.
Yesterday I was watching the scene between Balin and Bilbo: “It never ceases to surprise me” “what?” “The courage of Hobbits” my eyes were full of tears.

Frodo literally used his last life forces to get up and hold Sam close to him as soon as he heard him cry.

And then when he is about to go to the Undying Lands he literally launches himself in his arms and holds him with all his strength. Sam was the only reason why Frodo would have stayed in the Shire but he couldn’t do it. Sam had to live his life and Frodo had to overcome his traumas. They had to separate even if it meant feeling like their hearts had been ripped apart. Even if it meant not feeling whole again.
Uff🤧

Hi, I just wanted to share this cute embroidery that I made the other day❤️.
I love that in the books it is practically always “Sam and Frodo…” or “Frodo and Sam…” and rarely just “Frodo…” or “Sam…”

What always gets me about this scene is that as soon as Frodo sees Sam he forgets about anything and anyone else and just looks at him. He doesn’t care that Pippin or Merry are speaking to him, everything around him goes blurry and he just sees Sam. And also the way they look at each other… there is no need of words, they stare into each other’s eyes and understand everything.

This scene makes me so feral. The way he whispers: “what did you say?” 😩
Please tell me someone understands this
Shall we talk about how Sam is always Frodo’s first thought? I mean, Frodo cares for him immensely. When he wakes up in Rivendell in the first book practically the first thing he asks Gandalf is “where is Sam?” only then he worries about the others. When he is about to leave the company he lists the only people in the company he really trusts and the first one is Sam. Moreover he struggles to leave the fellowship especially because of Sam since he can not imagine leaving him. Then when Sam manages to get on the boat Frodo laughs. He laughs, for the first time since Bilbo left and he is so glad that in the end the fate had brought them back together to go to Mordor. We should talk more often about how immensely they both care for each other and love each other.
It is always Frodo trying to convince Sam not to go with him since he wants to protect him and Sam not listening to him and not leaving him alone.
“It would be the death of you to come with me Sam and I could not have borne that”
“Not as certain as being left behind”
“The breaking of the fellowship”
“It is going to be very dangerous, Sam. It is already dangerous. Most likely neither of us will come back.”
“If you don’t come back, sir, then I shan’t, that’s certain. Don’t you leave him! They said to me. Leave him! I said. I never mean to. I am going with him, if he climbs to the Moon, and if any of those Black Riders try to stop him, they’ll have Sam Gamgee to reckon with”
“A shortcut to mushrooms”
“No indeed” said Elrond, turning towards him with a smile. “You at least shall go with him. It is hardly possible to separate you from him, even when he is summoned to a secret council and you are not”
“The council of Elrond”
I love how it is so simple to understand when somebody hasn’t read the Lord of The Rings’ books: “Frodo was useless” “Frodo did nothing” “I hate Frodo”
Uff I feel Tolkien turning in his grave every time.
