Elfo took the initiative for once and Bean did not see it coming ✨

I love this pairing for a bunch of reasons: they are best friends, they care deeply for each other, they diverge from the aesthetic standards, they are a biracial couple, they reverse gender tropes, he’s shorter than her, she’s the strong one, he’s the sweet one, and I’m definitely a sucker for slow burn. 

Confession time: I'm into Bean x Elfo (#royal candy) and I cannot lie!

It's a ship I love for so many reasons, although I'm well aware it's not that popular. I have some art of them ready, but I'm hesitating.

Bean and Mora

This is a headcanon of mine, that might be close to canon: Returno (aka Pops, according to many in the fandom), before going back to Elfwood, lived for a while in Steamland selling sweets with Elfo that was too little to remember.

I used the portrait at the League of Gallivanting Scrutinators that appears in 3x04 “Steamland Confidential” as reference.

I'd love to see more disenchantment!

I drew this in 2019 right after I’ve watched the final episode of Game of Thrones, in grief for my favorite character. I haven’t redrawn or edited it in digital since it’s dear to me as it is.
