Aoife’s lore is changing! Disregard (most) of the lore before this :3

Aoife still came to Japan in the same way, has a talent in woodcarving and for a time was on a rogue journey to find revenge but eventually she met lord daichi tokunobu, akemi’s father. He saw she was white (but thought she was a man as that’s how she was disguised) and she saw an opportunity. She offered protection for him and his family as a (untrained) samurai if he let her live in disguise. She wouldn’t even ask for payment, only for secrecy, and a roof. He agreed and after some fierce loyalty from aoife he assigned her to akemi, who recently came home from running away. Even if akemi has no idea she’s white, a woman, and doesn’t know what she looks like they bond. Aoife is sympathetic to the role akemi is forced into and often says she’ll raise a hand to the SHOGUNS SON if he mistreats her. Akemi soon starts to like her and soon falls for her, despite being engaged/married. They have a secret affair and only after season two will I be able to continue their story XD
