ANYWAYS LORE TIME!! This takes place in an Au where Kinuyo survives (and yes her neck was fractured but she heals do and doesn’t have long term effects besides occasional neck pain) and returns to Madame Kaji’s care. After Boss Hamata dies he leaves a power vacuum. That’s where Akira steps in. He’s already savvy in sales and politics and is a natural leader so assumes the role for some money on the side (not that he needs it, he’s already rich.) He becomes the owner of the district properties and obviously hears about the shit that goes down. He decides to pay a visit to Madame kaji and immediately meets Kinuyo. He finds her hauntingly beautiful but understands it’d be inappropriate to pursue her, so decides instead to just make sure she heals properly and lives comfortably. He often sends gifts to her. Expensive teas, medicine, the best doctors money could buy. Eventually Kaji catches on and is NOT pleased and confronts Akira. He assures his intentions are pure and explains his thoughts. Madame kaji is slightly less suspicious but is still protective. When akira visits kinuyo as she starts to recover Madame kaji is never far away, always watching. Even if they think they’re alone. OH AND BY THE WAY AKIRA IS TECHNICALLY A WOMAN BUT WAS RASIED A MAN, HES GENDER FLUID AND DOESNT CARE HOW PEOPLE SEE HIM, BUT ENJOYS THE RESPECT AND POWER THAT COMES WITH BEING A MAN.
