Гребневики не являются медузой, даже не имеют с ними родственных связей, хотя называть их по другому не выходит. Внешне мнемиопсисы легкие, прозрачные, с юбочками-лопастями и гребными пластинами. У них нет мозга, сердца, скелета, зато есть нервная система, орган равновесия и способность к люминесценции. Мнемиопсис – хищник, это плотоядное животное питающийся зоопланктоном, икринками, личинками рыб и моллюсков. На свету переливается яркими цветами, ночью придает морским волнам желтоватое люминисцентное свечение.

По самым последним данным ученых гребневик является одним из первых живых созданий на планете Земля. Ранее считалось, что этот титул принадлежит морским губкам — гораздо более примитивным существам.

Совсем недавно Гребн­евик Мнемиопсис (Mne­miopsis leidyi) – обитал лишь по ту стор­ону океана: вдоль во­сточного побережья Северной и Южной Амер­ики, от Канады до Ар­гентины. Но, благода­ря интенсивному судо­ходству, вместе с ба­лластными водами он перебрался и в Европ­у. Как оказалось, гр­ебневик может приспо­сабливаться к большо­му диапазону солёнос­ти. Теперь его ареал обитания включает Чёрное море, Азовское, Эгейское и Мраморн­ое моря, западное по­бережье Швеции, даже почти пресное Балти­йское море .

Ctenophores are not jellyfish, and they are not even related to them, although it is impossible to call them anything else. Externally, Mnemiopsis are light, transparent, with blade-like skirts and paddle plates. They do not have a brain, heart, or skeleton, but they do have a nervous system, an organ of balance, and the ability to luminesce. Mnemiopsis is a predator, a carnivore that feeds on zooplankton, eggs, and larvae of fish and mollusks. In the light it shimmers with bright colors, at night it gives the sea waves a yellowish luminescent glow.

According to the latest data from scientists, the ctenophore is one of the first living creatures on planet Earth. Previously it was believed that this title belongs to sea sponges - much more primitive creatures. More recently, the Ctenophore Mnemiopsis (Mnemiopsis leidyi) lived only on the other side of the ocean: along the eastern coast of North and South America, from Canada to Argentina. But, thanks to intensive shipping, it moved to Europe along with ballast waters. As it turns out, the ctenophore can adapt to a wide range of salinity. Now its habitat includes the Black Sea, the Azov, Aegean and Marmara Seas, the western coast of Sweden, even the almost fresh Baltic Sea.

Чешский художник Мирко Ханак (Mirko Hanak), вдохновленный китайской живописью се-и, смог с любовью перенести восточную эстетику в изображение лесных животных своей родной Чехии.

Мирко Ханак родился в 1921 году и работал как иллюстратор, участвуя в оформлении детских книг (например, «Бемби») и книг, посвященных охране окружающей среды.

Художник, изображая всех пушистых и пернатых, сумел заострить и выразить их характеры так, что невозможно не поверить в одушевленность нескольких пятен краски на бумаге.

Czech artist Mirko Hanak, inspired by Chinese Xi-yi painting, has lovingly brought Eastern aesthetics to the forest animals of his native Czech Republic.

Mirko Hanak was born in 1921 and worked as an illustrator, participating in the design of children's books (for example, Bambi) and books on environmental protection.

John O. Winsch of Stapleton, New York, was a publisher of premium greeting cards. He first produced postcards in 1910, which were printed in Germany and imported to the United States for distribution. The most collectible of Winsch's cards are the Halloween drawings by American Art Nouveau artist Samuel L. Schmucker.

Соленое озеро Бурлинское - достопримечательность Алтайского края, его самая главная примета  — розовый цвет, что привлекает к нему многочисленных туристов. Расположено оно на берегу поселка Бурсоль. Однако такого цвета озеро бывает не всегда. Розовый оттенок оно приобретает только в теплую погоду. В остальное время вода в нем привычного цвета. Поэтому лучшее время для посещения Бурлинского озера — жаркие летние дни. Чем выше температура воды и ярче солнце, тем более розовым будет водоем. Причина этого феномена - микроскопическая водоросль. В процессе своей жизнедеятельности она производит пигмент, заставляющий озеро играть всеми оттенками розового — от бледно-лососевого до малинового. 

Площадь бессточного озера - 32 квадратных километра, средняя глубина — около метра. Под илом находится слой глауберовой соли, которую добываю прямо на месте. Бурлинское озеро является центром соляного промысла, который зародилось здесь более 200 лет назад.

However, the lake does not always have this color. It acquires a pink tint only in warm weather. The rest of the time, the water in it is the usual color. Therefore, the best time to visit Lake Burlin is hot summer days. The higher the water temperature and the brighter the sun, the more pink the pond will be. The reason for this phenomenon is a microscopic algae. In the process of its life, it produces a pigment that makes the lake play with all shades of pink - from pale salmon to raspberry.

The area of ​​the closed lake is 32 square kilometers, the average depth is about a meter. Under the silt there is a layer of Glauber's salt, which I mine right on site. Lake Burlin is the center of the salt industry, which originated here more than 200 years ago.

Андрей Оленев (р. 1993, живет и работает в Нижнем Новгороде) — художник, участник неформального художественного объединения Muddlehood и сооснователь галереи «Толк», с 2014 года поддерживающей уличных художников Нижнего Новгорода. Работает в разных формах и техниках (живопись, пирография, объект, инсталляция, книга художника). Известен монументальными росписями на фасадах старых домов в историческом центре Нижнего Новгорода, а также многосоставными деревянными объектами, полностью или частично скрывающими живописные изображения. Свой стиль сам художник называет «мистическим реализмом», соединяющим лирику с фантасмагорией.

Andrey Olenev (b. 1993, lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod) is an artist, a member of the informal art association Muddlehood and co-founder of the Tolk gallery, which has been supporting street artists in Nizhny Novgorod since 2014. Works in different forms and techniques (painting, pyrography, object, installation, artist's book). He is known for monumental paintings on the facades of old houses in the historical center of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as multi-component wooden objects that completely or partially hide the picturesque images. The artist himself calls his style “mystical realism,” combining lyricism with phantasmagoria.

Туристическая деревня Заансе Сханс в Голландии – это музей деревянного зодчества под открытым небом. Здесь собраны уникальные постройки жилых домов, мельниц, которые были характерны для голландских поселений XVII-XVIII веков. С 1961 года их начали перевозить в этот населенный пункт из разных уголков региона, расположенного вдоль реки Заан, с целью воссоздать облик старинной голландской деревни.

Расстояние из Амстердама до Заансе Сханс всего в 15 км. Поэтому здесь всегда большой наплыв туристов. Цены на все товары и услуги в этой маленькой деревеньке такие высокие, как и в Амстердаме.
