End of the Year Tag (part I: my sims & edits )

Thanks for tagging me @kyranyx, @anotherplumbob & @citrusmiint!  I figure because I was tagged multiple times it gives my an excuse to break this into two posts: sims and edits in part one and builds and scenery in part two.  

The rules: Find your fave pics of your story or your blog in general and post them in a collage.  It can be 1 picture or 100 (whatever you want).  But just reflect on your fave moments in your story or on your blog.  It can be cute moments or pictures of which you’re really proud.  When you’re done tag 5 people or more.  

This year I’ve had my share of ups and downs but this simblr has consistently brought me a lot of happiness.  I feel that I’ve grown into my blog this year: I’ve found a sim style I like, my editing has improved, and I’m beginning to figure out my aesthetic and focus.  Most of all, I’ve really enjoyed meeting new and wonderful simmers and been so inspired by the creativity in this community. I’m hoping this next year brings only the best to everyone!

obviously TS4, especially building & decorating

Surprise, surprise I’m really late with this tag & I assume everyone’s already done it but if you haven’t & you want to, say I tagged you. :)

I had fun decorating the faux apartments in one of my Spice District builds for Christmas.  It’s part of a huge retail lot with a toy store, bookstore, tea room, Christmas tree lot, and two “apartments” that I’ve been working on for a while. I had hoped to share this lot in time for Christmas but sadly I ran into a bunch of routing issues (this is why I hate retail lots) and I’ve been too busy with the holidays to finish it.  Oh well, there’s always next year and hopefully we’ll all get our Christmas wish and have seasons by then!

Followers Forever - 207

(Apologies if this doesn’t have the keep reading cut… I swear I put it in there…) 

Have a wonderful December 25th, my SIMian friends! To some it’s a special day… others it’s just a day. Either way, May it be a good day filled with love and good things!

Since 200 followers and Christmas seem to coincide, I felt like it was appropriate to release this on Christmas day. It’s been sitting in my drafts for a few days.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the 200 some folks who have followed my blog. I didn’t expect to see 200 in a year, but I’m so glad. I started this blog to help me get my creativity out and it’s become so much more than just that. 

I really want to say thank you to you guys for taking the time to even look at my blog once and follow me. If I didn’t mention you, it’s likely because I forgot or I just missed you in the list of many awesome people that exist out here in the tumblr world. I honestly tried to hit everyone on my list.  So even if I didn’t mention you or put you on this list.. please know you are awesome and I appreciate your time! 

I can’t imagine these that these types of posts will get any easier with more followers, maybe in the next 200 I’ll make sure to categorize them for the awesome content.
