Everyone arrived and were ready to kick off the vacation but couldn’t agree what to do first.

Luckily Nayeli’s girlfriend Simone offered to help bartend.  Right in time too because the drink orders were piling up.

Nayeli & Simone...

Met at the Simlilith Fair music festival in Oasis Springs and were immediately drawn to each other.  Sadly, timing was not on their side; both were in long-term relationships so they stayed friends for two years but eventually realized they were going to have to break a few hearts because they desperately wanted to be together. They have been in blissful coupledom for three years now.

Have a very simpatico relationship – while they’re both headstrong, passionate & frequently opinionated, they’re rarely in conflict with each other because they share similar opinions, beliefs, life goals & interests. Interestingly enough, they also have compatible zodiac signs: Nayeli is a Scorpio & Simone is a Pisces.  

Are both very artistic & creative; Nayeli is a tattoo artist & Simone is a writer.  Fun fact – all of Simone’s tattoos were done by Nayeli and they have matching skeleton ‘til death do we part tats.

Come from similar backgrounds: Nayeli & Simone grew up in families with alternative lifestyles that were bohemian, artistic, & socially/politically active.  Luckily for them, they actually like each other’s families, which makes family gatherings and holidays actual joyous occasions rather than torture.

Still feeling pumped up from karaoke, Luna tried her hand at comedy and was feeling pretty hilarious, although it seems not everyone agrees.

Luna: “I swear, I just keep landing every single joke.”

Simone (tight smile, thinks to self): “Ouch, this is awkward...should I fake a laugh??”

Nayeli and Simone finally had a little alone time.

Nayeli: (wink wink) “Hey sweetheart, you come here often?” 

Simone: “Haha, you’re such a dork!”

Nayeli: “Wow, you really know how to sweet-talk a girl…how about we move this to the hot tub?”

Nayeli: “Simone, my love, here I am surrounded by all the beauty of this island, and you are the most gorgeous thing I see!  Of everything I have seen, it’s you I want to go on seeing...”

Simone: “Lmao, oh my god, are you recycling Don Lothario’s pick-up lines? You really are a dork!”

Nayeli: “Yeah I most definitely am.  But you have to admit, his sleazy ass kinda has a way with the words and combined with my flawless delivery...you’re totally swooning!”

These lovebirds can’t get enough of each other!

Getting cozy and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit… Luna, Nayeli, and Simone are working up the courage to tell ghost stories.

Pros & Cons of Dating Simone Walker

Thanks for the tag @budgie2budgie!  I took forever to finally do this tag because my life has been crazy and I’m guessing everyone has already done it so I tag whoever who wants to do this.

Pros + Very loyal to the people closest to her.  She will pretty much go to the end of the earth for them and stands by them fiercely. + An excellent cook (she learned from her grandmother who owned a beloved Creole restaurant in Willow Creek) so you’ll always have a great meal. + Open to new experiences and new people and is always up for an adventure. + Incredibly passionate about life: her interests, career (she’s a writer), the people she loves, etc. + Emotionally deep, genuine, and incredibly kind. + Very romantic, gives the best hugs, and is a great kisser.

Cons - Strong minded and will always speaks her mind.  She’s the type of person who refuses to only speak about approved topics at dinner parties (life’s too short to waste time conversing about the weather). - Very independent (which is also a pro) but sometimes she’s unwilling to be a team player and she has periods of time when she needs her space. - A little messy and hates cleaning (she insists it’s just her artistic personality). - Will judge you if you read crappy literature or don’t like reading books at all. - Hogs the blankets when she sleeps.

End of the Year Tag (part I: my sims & edits )

Thanks for tagging me @kyranyx, @anotherplumbob & @citrusmiint!  I figure because I was tagged multiple times it gives my an excuse to break this into two posts: sims and edits in part one and builds and scenery in part two.  

The rules: Find your fave pics of your story or your blog in general and post them in a collage.  It can be 1 picture or 100 (whatever you want).  But just reflect on your fave moments in your story or on your blog.  It can be cute moments or pictures of which you’re really proud.  When you’re done tag 5 people or more.  

This year I’ve had my share of ups and downs but this simblr has consistently brought me a lot of happiness.  I feel that I’ve grown into my blog this year: I’ve found a sim style I like, my editing has improved, and I’m beginning to figure out my aesthetic and focus.  Most of all, I’ve really enjoyed meeting new and wonderful simmers and been so inspired by the creativity in this community. I’m hoping this next year brings only the best to everyone!
