Art v Artist meme!

I’m a pretty strong believer that most folks emphasize (often very unnoticeable until compared) lines in their art based on their own face and what they like about faces. That said I have no idea how anything I draw looks like me, especially since I had to scrounge around just to find a selfie where my eyebrows looked less desperate than ted cruz’s.

artvartist and of course said selfie where my eyebrows aren't pulling my whole face down around them? my nose is wonky as hell of course I had one selfie where the lighting was really dramatic and I was scowling at the camera and I thought OH MY GOD IT'S ALL MY PAINTINGS style!!!! then I put it in there and the lighting looked better than any of my paintings so I didn't post it because in a war of insulting my face or my paintings I'm gonna insult my face I had no control over my face but my paintings are my work so if you're gonna make one look worse lets go with the one I didn't make.... that's right tumblr i'm a CHEESY white bread I missed my calling as a dad all I got were the jokes

the eternal struggle: I just came here to paint some faces and now I have to do the whole rest of shit to the same level of attention to detail when I am fresh out of fucks after the faces

need to tweak coloring on eo's skin and dress so the lighting is more consistent ugh I have like six alternate fancy outfits in mind because I have so many ideas about fancy Gold outfits and armor shit I prefer if people don't reblog wips that represent me poorly like this but ya'll are adults make your own choices if you want this shit on your blogs I guess that is completely up to you I wanna draw the other Golds but are there actual canon heights anywhere I am gonna get all the relative sizes off so far I know I will this is why it's so hard to get me into new fandoms I don't just get into a new fandom I fall head over heels into actual art hell
