Head canon for Luceris on MC death: he at first is more annoyed than anything that he lost his trump card against Catalina. Then his mind kicks in and asks him the question who went out for their way to kill MC. Then he thinks back and really sees all the shit his citizens and him put MC through and how he barely ever discouraged the poor treatment. Then a small sense of humanity slaps him in the face with the combined facts and made him realize that a CHILD died. A child who was only in the kingdom because he dragged them their to use for his schemes after killing off their parents.

A child who died alone in foreign land and no one cared because he was the first to say to all his people it was ok to turn their back on them and leave them to the wolves.

Then he has a mental breakdown as he asks the ghost of Farah what had he become. Unfortunately he asks this question years after MC's death, when new proof arrives that puts to question wht he assumed was the truth.

Too late to feel guilt or regret 🥲

So, this has been a scenario in my mind that I really, really wanna ask (and hope it could be answer):

Like, the carriage that's supposed driving Helios, Soarine, Hunter, Vincent was broken, and MC's happened to past by when they're riding with Fadiya, MC can't refuse Fadiya's plead so they for once, let the rest of the ROs be in the same ride with them.

One of the ROs sat with MC, while the rest of four sit together (seems tight if you tell it, but it's really spacious and MC doesn't like physical touch so they have to endure it), as the ride is still long, MC proceeds to take a nap (they need it after a long day of works, dealing with nasty nobles and hateful eyes), but as the ride is very bumpy, they have a hard time to balance and in the end... They fall asleep upon one of the ROs shoulders.

The RO obviously try to help MC back to their normal sleep, but MC then shush them and say, "Don't move. Let me sleep. Please. "

How would the ROs react if MC fall asleep in their shoulder, and how would the rest of the ROs react to that one particular RO and MC, to see the last heir of a gone dynasty of once other side, and for once not being haunted?

In this moment, the worries and troubles of the outside world seemed to fade away, replaced by a sense of solace and quiet companionship.

Helios

Taken aback by their request, Helios paused, unsure of how to proceed. Understanding the exhaustion in their voice, Helios chose to respect their request.

Carefully keeping his position unchanged, Helios maintained a steady presence, supporting the weight of the sleeping MC without making a single movement. He glanced at them briefly, his eyes reflecting a mix of emotions—caution, concern, and perhaps a glimmer of curiosity.

Hunter

The unexpected request caught them off guard, and their laughter was a mix of surprise and amusement. Their laughter faded into a warm smile and Hunter quickly composed themselves and adjusted their position. With a grin on their face, they leaned back in their seat, casting a casual glance at the sleeping MC.

Soarine

Suppressing her laughter, Soarine adjusted her position to ensure the MC's comfort. A playful smile danced upon Soarine's lips as she leaned slightly, providing soft support for the MC's head. She whispered teasingly, "Very well, I shall gladly be your pillow for now."

However, her words held a hidden tenderness beneath their playful tone. She understood the significance of these small gestures, offering solace and a touch of unexpected warmth to the MC.

Vincent

Vincent's initial instinct was to push them away but then he noticed the judging looks from the others. With a begrudging sigh, he yielded, allowing MC to lean on him.

Though the touch felt foreign and uncomfortable at first, Vincent's guarded demeanor softened ever so slightly. He adjusted his posture, finding a position that would provide the MC with a measure of comfort without compromising his own boundaries.
