Core Fusion AU
Core Fusion AU
The people that live in the Infinite Realms are able to fuse like gems in Steven Universe. Why you may ask? It's because their body is made up of ectoplasm that comes from their core, which is very similar to how a gem's form is made up of light and comes from their gem itself.
Fusions occur when two or more ghosts share a similar strong emotion or obsession, such as protection, love or hate. The fusion is a state where the occupants share thoughts and work together to operate a single body, so a lot of trust needs to be present or a singular goal in both minds.
Core Fusions also merge unique powers together to strengthen or link them together more.
Due to this, core fusions are typically seen as a way to show trust in any form or bond between ghosts, and as a way to strengthen forces and power.
Danny is probably able to fuse with ghosts and humans but was never told that it was possible for him bc he's half-human.
Now, this could work for both Dp x Dc and Dp x BNHA.
Dp x Dc
Danny can fuse with people who have been touched by death or have been dead and came back (like Jason).
The fusion would be a physical form that mixes both or more appearances while their cores (pseudo or not) appear as jewellery they wear as the fusion, which changes depending on the fusion.
Since I'm fixated on the dead on main ship right now, let's say that Jason is the one to core fuse with Danny first, and there can be an in depth backstory on how they meet and leads up to the core fusion, and it helps with the pit rage. Danny takes them to either Frostbite or Clockwork to figure out what is going on and they learn about core fusion and how it works.
-possible plot idea ahead-
In Gotham, Red Hood has been MIA for several months from both being a vigilante and a crime boas, and the rest of the batfam are freaking out about it; especially since a new crime boss has come into play going by "The Monarch" or "JD Fent" (The Monarch plays into Danny being either Ghost King or an adjacent role in the Infinite realms, and the JD Fent is a mix of their names bc I think it's cool :D).
Meanwhile, Jason and Danny have been chilling together using core fusion to keep away from the batfam and have been improving Crime Alley with Danny's inherited chaotic mad scientist gene being used to harness ectoplasm as a renewable energy since Gotham has a large quantity of it (bonus points if the ectoplasm can be re-filtered to be safely used again for power).
The GIW or another ghost could show up in Gotham to hunt down JD and the batfam accidentally get captured since a lot of them have died (I think??).
Cue a garnet-style reunion and a "stronger than you" scene before escaping and telling the rest of the batfam the truth.
Dp x BNHA
Similar to the other one, but quirks count as mini-cores and that's how people gain their powers. Quirkless people don't have cores and therefore don't have powers.
Danny could be able to fuse with the previous OFA users and just pull them out of Izuku or they could just fuse by Danny grabbing onto Izuku when using his quirk in a fight.
And I'm just imagining during one of the fights Danny grabs onto Izuku and a flash of light shoots out and once the light clears, Danny is gone and a person with three sets of arms with an appearance similar to Danny's and the other OFA users mixed into one before battling it out with the LOV.
Please let me know if anything doesn't seem like it works! And this prompt is free to use by anyone if they want to! :]

Tim Drake's singer disguise
I've been thinking about this for a while. Tim has a few undercover personas from what I've read, and I think this would be a fun idea for anyone who wishes to use it.
--
The batfam have to do an undercover mission to target a music-based rogue who was targeting opera singers, so Tim offers to go undercover in order to lure them out.
He gets vocal training lessons thanks to Alfred's knowledge on the matter and recommending a good instructor, and creates a fully legal persona to use for the disguise.
The disguise that Tim goes for is a half mask made of porcelain and a more female look, going by the name 'Florence Hill' and applying to be an opera singer at Gotham's most known theater/opera house.
During the time that Tim is set to perform, the rest of the bats can't be present or the villain will know they are there, so Tim keeps a tracker on him along with a distress beacon.
How this ends up can be anything, I just wanted to write about a Tim who can sing.
Alfred has a relative???
Recently, Alfred had received a letter from a 'relative' of his for reasons unknown to the batfam. Alfred seemed happy about it so none of them minded too much, even when the butler said that said relative would be visiting since they hadn't been able to see each other in many years.
A few days later there is a knock on the manor's door and one of the batkids opens it to see this young adult dressed in modern yet formal attire asking if Alfred lives there.
They assume that the man is a cousin or something similar of Alfred's, until the man all but squeals like a banshee at the sight of the butler and beelines for him before doting on him.
None of them were prepared for the young adult- if he even is one at this point- to call Alfred "his boy" and for Alfred to refer to him as "father/papa".
-----
*knock on the door*
Tim: *opens door* hello?
Danny: Hi, does Alfred Pennyworth live/work here?
Tim: Yes??? Why do you ask?
Danny: Well you see-
Alfred: Young master Tim, who might be at the door?
Danny: *Squeals* My little Alfie!!

Haunted Doll AU.
If anyone has watched that Wizard of Oz movie where it's the prequel this'll make a lot more sense.
Instead of being one of those antique anabelle type dolls that are typically haunted, Danny is possessing a china doll instead- or a porcelain doll, kinda like this

So imagine Danny gets hurt by either the GIW or the Fenton dr duo and flees to the Infinite Realms, only for CW and Frostbite to suggest putting his ghost core in a movable container while his body heals. Normally Ghosts would probably just be able to switch up their body while their core heals and just reform their body after, but since Danny is a halfa his body will still be there but in a comatose state so it needs to stay under watch.
CW suggests a doll to put his core in and when they do, he is able to move and talk since his voice comes from his core and the doll is ball-jointed.
After getting used to the new body, Danny is sent back to Earth to wait for his body to heal fully, and accidentally takes a wrong turn and ends up in Gotham.
Cue one of the batfam finding a walking doll and taking it home after finding out that it's sentient and a ghost healing.
(Probably Damian during a patrol but it could be any of them.)
Alfred was just about finished putting the boy’s arm back together and was working on connecting it back to his body when the boy woke up with a start. The old butler stopped his movements to put the arm back on as the boy seemed to take note of his surroundings before focusing on Alfred sat to the side of him.
“Where am I?” The boy was hesitant when speaking, almost as if he was unsure that he was supposed to speak. This set off a few more alarms in Alfred’s head if the broken off limbs and shattered window weren’t alarms enough.
“You’re at Wayne Manor, young man.” Alfred spoke as he put down the arm in his hands. “Would you like to tell me why you crashed through the kitchen window in pieces?” The boy froze slightly at his question and Alfred raised an eyebrow as he moved to the bedside table that held the bonding agent that he had been using to put the shards of crystal together.
The boy hesitated for a moment, before answering the butler, “I was running from the GIW-” That was a name that Alfred wasn’t familiar with, even with his vast knowledge of organizations thanks to the batcomputer.
“The GIW? Could you tell me more about them? Are they dangerous?” Alfred spoke calmly as he began to apply the bonding agent to the broken off arm in preparation to put the arm back into place, with the boy watching his every move with cautious eyes.
“They’re the Guys In White- or Ghost Investigation Ward. They’re a government organization that are hunting down ghosts-” The boy was still hesitant to speak, though he allowed Alfred to carefully lift his broken arm in order to connect the broken off part of his arm back on, bandages soon following to hold the reattached arm in place.
Arm down, legs to go.
Alfred got to work getting the shards in the right places as the boy looked at him doing so. “That seems very illegal, even if ghosts are speculated to be merely tales” Alfred spoke in a calm tone as he began to apply a bonding agent to the shards, carefully putting pieces together to form one of the broken apart legs.
“It isn’t, it’s a law letting them hunt us without any consequences.” The boy spat out the words like they personally offended him, and to be frank Alfred would have done the same in his youth
“I am truly sorry for what has happened to you” Alfred looked up at the boy who was now sat up on the bed, his good arm being the one used to push himself up.
“It isn’t your fault though- just, could you please not tell the GIW that I’m here?” The boy seemed almost hesitant as he spoke, as if Alfred would contact them when he was done putting him back together. “I can leave as soon as you’re done helping me back together if you want-”
Alfred held up his hand for the boy to stop, which the boy thankfully did so. “Young man, I wouldn’t expect you to leave after being put back together. You are free to stay if you wish.” He smiled warmly at the boy, who looked skeptical of his response. “You may even help me around the manor if you would like to do something. I’m getting on in my years and would appreciate the extra pair of hands.”
The boy looked at him for a moment before giving Alfred a small smile, “I’d like that… If you’ll have me”.
Alfred sighed in relief at the boy’s acceptance of his offer before clapping his hands together, “Alright then. Now, let's get your legs back in one piece and onto you.”
There's a boy in shards that just crashed through the kitchen window.
Normally Alfred would be on the defensive at an intruder, much less one that shattered the glass of the kitchen window and got glass everywhere. But he was caught off guard by how young the intruder looked and the fact that he had two crystal-like breaks where his legs and one arm used to be, with even more hairline and large cracks and breaks on the rest of him.
The boy(?) had tumbled into the polished floor and a bag of what looked to be green and black crystals fell out of his remaining arm, the boy himself looking around the kitchen almost frantically before stopping on Alfred.
"Help- please-" Was all the boy said before passing out on the floor, definitely injured but not bleeding. Alfred went over to the boy without much thought, assessing the amount of damage the boy had sustained.
It was bad given that the boy seemed to be made of the crystals and his three broken off limbs were in the bag of crystals just in multiple sections- Alfred thinks that he could see a pinkie finger and an index in the mess of shards.
After the quick assessment, Alfred got to work. He knew that Master Bruce and the children would be more concerned about where the crystal boy had come from before even attempting to piece him back together, but Alfred didn't think he would have to worry about that- so taking him to the servant quarters that were mostly unused except for his own room was the option he chose. Going into the laundry room to grab one of the clean sheets was the first thing he did, in order to gather the boy's pieces to easily transport them- Alfred could deal with putting him together once he got the boy to a better spot than the kitchen floor.
(During this time, Alfred wonders if the boy minded doing some housework or gardening- he seemed desperate to get away from something so maybe?)
If we go the Walker is Maddie's dad route- then that means he too also has a tale of when he met the love of his life through violence.
Walker: I met my love on a prison yard- another guard, not a prisoner. They managed to knock out three prisoners twice their size and incapacitate six other smaller prisoners with broken bones. Hottest thing I ever saw-
The person who questioned him: Y'all are freaky- but nice romance-
It's a Fenton thing
A lot of Dead on Main fics have Danny and Jason get together over some form of violence and have it be how ghost courtship works.
Sometimes it's kicking someone's ass. Sometimes it's kicking ass on their behalf. Sometimes it's about making a point of showing off your ass-kicking skills in front of them.
It's all fun. It's all valid.
But what if, hear me out, it was not a ghost courtship thing but was a Fenton courtship thing.
How many times has Jack Fenton said "Man that's hot" in response to Maddie kicking ass?
Do you see my vision?
Jason going on a rampage when his enemies kidnap Danny. Danny swooning so hard it takes him a minute to remember how to phase the restraints off. Then he bounds over to fight by his boyfriend's side with a big, lovestruck grin with just a hint of viciousness.
Both of them showing off their combat skills for the other to admire.
At some point, someone asks if it's a ghost thing, and One of the Fentons replies "no, that's just how hotness works," at the same that a ghost replies "no, they're just like that."
Imagine a universe where Jazz's first crush was on the one other kid in her karate class who could best her as often as she beat them.
Imagine the Fentons having a colorful history of falling in love on battlefields and in underground fighting rings.
