You sat on Reo’s bed, having been invited by the boy for a simple hangout to catch up since you missed class that day due to your leg injury.

“No wayyy seriously!?”

You looked at Reo with wide eyes and an excited smile as he told you about the fight that occurred early at school that morning

“Yea. There was blood everywheree, I think the girl got her nose broken… and she just got her nose job too!”

Reo laughed along with you, never losing focus on the happy glint in your eyes

It’s a shame you weren’t there to see it. Reo worked so hard to get the two to fight. So many hours he spent on call with the both of them, pressing lies and threats to get them both to snap at each other. He wished you could’ve seen it happen in front of your very eyes, his great masterpiece for the day. Would you be proud of him? Praise him? He wishes he could’ve found out. Oh well, there’s always next time.

“HA! Serves her right! She pushed me down the stairs yesterday!"

Reo nodded. He couldn’t agree more. The f[/]cking b[/]tch shouldn’t have even laid eyes on you. No one deserves that pleasure but him. And especially not someone like her. People who don’t acknowledge your grace don’t deserve to walk this earth.

But he also hated himself for not being there for you. He should’ve caught you in his arms, he should’ve never let you get injured. He'll kill the girl for doing something like that to you

Your phone rang; your mother was calling.

“Hm? Oh yea I’m doing good, having fun!”

Reo smiled. He was glad you were enjoying everything he so carefully set up. As you checked in with your mother, he also went through his own notifications, texting a few people.

“Ah, Reo, I think I should get going… It’s already 9pm after all”

WHAT. No- right now? Why? WHY? WHAT WAS HE DOING WRONG?

“Are you sure? It’s raining really badly outside…”

Reo glanced out the window. Rain droplets were flying at and crazy fast speed, loud ping-panging was heard both the roof (since you two were on the top floor) and the windows

“Was it always raining?”

Thank lord the assistants got the text in time. 

You tilted your head, covering your phone with your hand

“I uh- think so, we must’ve been to caught up in conversation lol…Actually- Why don’t you just stay the night? Tomorrows a weekend after all! Plus it wouldn’t be wise for you to go home this late. I just want you to be safe.”

You hesitated, before turning back to your phone, asking your mother if it’d be okay to stay over

“Honey, are you sure? Do you really trust this guy? Where are you going to sleep, do you have extra clothing, tooth brushes, towels, are you sure about this?”

Reo nodded frantically at you with a plastered smile

“We have multiple beds on this floor, a guest bathroom that comes with everything you’ll need, and extra clean clothes. I promise you’ll be safe with me.”

Reo spoke loudly, to make sure your mother picked up on what he said.

You relayed it to your mom, asking her again for permission. After a half minute, your face lit up and quickly threw out multiple thank-yous. You shot Reo a quick "👌" and he smiled as he put his hands together 

“Great! I’ll get everything setup then” 

He tried to keep his voice as stable as possible, but he felt like he was going to die from happiness.

Reo’s heart was beating out of his chest, he could feel his entire body pulse with excitement. You were staying the night, with him. Reo couldn’t stop smiling, he felt like rolling on the floor giggling with excitement, he was ready to die after this night for all he cared.

But he had to keep himself composed in front of you. He could freak out after you left.

“Do you need to shower? I can show you the way”

You nodded as you stood up, leaving your phone on his desk

“The guest bathroom is a bit far… My bathroom’s closer! Would you prefer that?” “Sure, I really don’t mind”

The guest bathroom was really only a room or two down from his.

Reo showed you the way, and grabbed a few of his T-shirts and shorts and handed them to you.

“Pick whatevers most comfortable with you! I hope you don’t mind wearing something that’s mine…” “It’s fine really. No need to be so uptight”

You smiled and waved it off

Reo nearly exploded. He burst into a smile as he tried to squash it down. You didn’t mind wearing something he wore. You didn’t mind. What if he gave you his hoodie? Would you wear that? Oh, he’d give you his skin if you so wanted.

As you showered, Reo headed back to his room. He sat down at the desk where your phone was. And with shaking hands, he picked up your phone and flipped it around in his hands.

You touch your phone everyday. We wished you’d touch him even once. Your fingertips tracing his jawline the same way they’d trace the edge of your phone. Poke his checks the same way you’d pressed the buttons. Decorate and dress him the same way you’d change your phone case and phone charm. Oh how he wished he could be around you as often as your phone was.

Hell, even throw him across the room the same way you do to it. Throw him on the bed like you do to your phone after a long day. Then check that it wasn’t cracked afterwards from the impact. Turn to him anytime you have a question like you would to your phone. Was it possible to be jealous of an inanimate object?

"Are you snooping through my phone?”

You playfully glared at Reo with an irritated smile

“No no no- See? I haven’t even bothered trying to unlock it!”

He showed you your phone, still on the black screen having not been turned on

“I just wanted to see your lock screen- I swear-”

Reo laughed, a tone of panic and desperation in his voice. Please believe him. He doesn’t know what he’d do if you didn’t trust him…

You looked at him skeptically, but let him off with a shrug.

“Do you have a hair dryer or anything?” “Oh yea! Let me help you”

Fuck, you looked amazing. the way you looked in his clothing, your hair dripping wet, leaving stains on his shirt. God he loved you

Reo reached under the bed and pulled it out, unwrapping the cord and plugging it in. He smiled and signaled for you to sit on the bed in front of you

He hummed contently, running his fingers through your hair as he held the hairdryer. 

"Your hair is beautiful. Would you ever consider doing a shampoo ad or something? You’d look amazing on the cover of a magazine” 

Ah, this caught you off guard- but you thanked him as you smiled to yourself at the complement 

“Think this is the best I can do… Is it okay?”

He turned the hair dryer off, and ruffled your hair lightly

You nodding, running your hands through your hair. Most of it was dry, but the tips were still a bit wet, though that wasn’t a problem.

“You said you have extra rooms?” “Oh… Yea, I guess so…”

Why don’t you stay in my room? What’s wrong with staying with me? I cleaned everything just for you, everything's hidden- THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH MY ROOM. STAY HERE. PLEASE.

“but they’re all supper small- I don’t think you’ll like them” “That’s alright, anything will work for the night” “Well- my bed’s bigger than all the other ones…" “Didn’t you say there were multiple guest rooms…?” “...But- I really don’t mind you staying in my bed…”

Shit. What was he going to say to get you to stay? He should’ve never said there were other rooms. What if he told you the other rooms had rat infestations- no, you’d be disgusted by him….

The loudest strike of thunder sounded. It was so loud it was almost unnatural…

“You know what- nevermind. I think I’ll stay with you tonight…”

You laughed awkwardly, body shaking a bit from the sudden bang. You hated thunder.

Reo smiled he’d be sure to give the assistants a raise after tonight

He set everything up. Gave you a cute plushie and brought over extra blankets in case you got cold, a cup of water, and charged your phone. Whatever you wanted, really.

“You gonna come to bed yet? It’s almost 11….”

You yawned, rubbing your eyes half asleep 

Reo wished he could see this sight every night. He swore in that moment on his heart that he’d marry you

“Yup, just turning off the lights.”

He flicked a few switches and the room blacked out. A few moments after Reo joined you under the blankets

“Goodnight, Reo.” “Goodnigh, my love” “Mh?” “I said Goodnight, [Y/N].”

♡ You both met through you starting a random conversation with him, and because you managed to ask the right questions, he was happy to answer them. The compliments you gave him helped as well. He was practically preening like a peacock the whole time. But there was this...glint in your eyes, a calculating one, like you were trying to figure him out. He was mostly creeped out, but also intrigued, which lead him to give you his phone number so you both can continue talking sometime again. He is not flirting, what are you talking about?

♡ (You didn't put psychology or philosophy in your likes, but since you used them in an example for setting up a conversation, I'm assuming you do like talking about them!) Kaiser would love to talk about psychology with you! He doesn't often meet people who are interested in it like him, and he isn't interested in talking about psychology with just anyone. It's the topic you both end up talking about the most actually. As for philosophy, it depends on the questions you ask him. But normally he doesn't bring up philosophy in conversations.

♡ Kaiser is the opposite of a people pleaser. Even when trying to befriend Ness, he doesn't act like anything other than his brash and confidant self. He has strong opinions and values and refuses to compromise on them. Rather than change himself to fit in with everyone else, he would rather change the world to suit what he wants. An exaggeration, but you get the gist. Perhaps this quality would be attractive to you.

♡ Kaiser will tell you he doesn't celebrate holidays, but won't protest if you urge him to celebrate with you. Especially if you invite him to do something with you on Christmas. He was happy to make snow angels and gingerbread houses with you, watch a Christmas movie, eat at a nice place. He gives up after three failed sessions and falling flat on his ass.

♡ So you like straightforwardness (long ass word). Luckily for you, Kaiser is very straightforward. When he wants to tell someone something, he's very direct about it. If he doesn't want to reveal something, he simply won't. Take that how you will. This trait of his really helped speed up his confession process. Once he realised he liked you, which took a few months because his emotions are either repressed or too tumultuous for him to figure out, he started preparing for the best (and most extra) confession you've ever seen. On Valentine's day, because he's cheesy like that.

♡ He likes that you tend to think logically, because he does too. This makes communication between the two of you easier, as you're usually on similar wavelengths. He doesn't think displaying emotions are a sign of weaknesses, but he does find them unnecessary or even a bother sometimes. He doesn't think his emotions should affect his performance, just like you. Get therapy, the both of you.

♡ You like cats? That's great, Kaiser is one. You know those golden retriever boyfriends? Kaiser is NOT one of them. He's the black cat in the relationship. Kaiser strikes me as an ambivert rather than a full extrovert, he needs his alone time sometimes. He's reserved and mysterious, or at least somewhat secretive, about his past. Also, he would mess with your things in front of you when you're distracted and he wants your attention. Smiles when you slap his hand away.

♡ Kaiser also hates it when it's too sunny and dreads getting sunburnt, so he brings a parasol with him when he sees that it's going to be a sunny day. He's a gentleman and holds the umbrella over the both of you so you can be shaded from the sun as well.

♡ Acts of service is one of Kaiser's main love languages! As mentioned in the point above, he likes to do little things for you, especially if you've had a bad day. He'll make you coffee in the morning, carry your things when you both go shopping together, walk just a touch faster than you so he can open doors before you do.

♡ He also loves receiving acts of service, somewhat because he's not that great at taking care of himself? Or rather he just does the bare minimum and sometimes goes into a period of overworking himself. Not great either way. Remind him to take breaks once a while, bring him a snack while he's watching game footage on the screen. He'll melt into a happy mess the moment you leave the room.

♡ Kaiser likes giving gifts. It was a big part of his courting process, his confession and the first few months of your relationship. At first, they're traditional romantic stuff like flowers, a few stuffed toys, sweets and chocolates. As he got to know your preferences over time, his gifts became more personalised to you. Frozen berries especially, since they're easy to buy and you finish them quickly. He'll buy you wigs and costumes for your cosplay too, if you're fine with him buying you expensive things. I say take advantage of his money.

♡ "Relatives tell me [...] I worry too much for my future." This is Kaiser we're talking about here. When is he ever not worrying about his future? Even when he was younger and living with his father, he was saving up money to run away in the future. So yes, Kaiser is always thinking about his future, how to gain success and security. He won't tell you not to worry so much, that clearly isn't the philosophy he has, but he will help you to come up with concrete goals and a plan of action, a few backup plans even. To him, you should worry about your future, and take small steps to build the future that you hope for instead of worrying for no reason. That's just anxiety.

♡ You having no problem with telling people when you disagree with them works well for Kaiser actually. He's kinda...into it? Not actual fights of course, just minor disagreements or debates. He treats them like playful arguments. It's enrichment for him. You know the "can we keep arguing it was turning me on" meme? Yeag.

♡ The idea of writing a few realistic headcanons for your dynamic (while still keeping an element of movie magic to it) compelled me so much. This is probably not something most people would opt for, so thank you for giving me the creative liberty. >:)

♡ The way you describe what you can offer in a relationship is so detailed and reminiscent of what one should do in order to be an "ideal" partner. Almost as if you studied the concept. Given Kaiser's motivation to study psychology, he definitely did the same thing, especially since he's genuinely interested in trying out a romantic relationship. He doesn't do anything half-assed; he puts his all into it. Your honeymoon period is passionate and sweet, but with a hint of...coldness and evaluation hidden beneath the surface? Like the period where new lovers are too nervous to show their more authentic selves to each other stretched across months between good morning texts and flowers delivered to your door.

♡ The way you view relationships and speak so nonchalantly about cutting ties with people sounds a lot like avoidant attachment style. And guess what? Kaiser definitely has it too. This spells out doom for the relationship from the beginning, but honestly, I didn't match you with him just to write about a fairytale happily ever after for you both. I usually look at one's hair colour and go for a character with a hair colour that matches or compliments the requester. So either dark/dark or light/dark but that doesn't say much so. I knew immediately what vibe I wanted to go with, it was just a matter of finding who would fit it. Oh yes I warn, this may be a bit ooc, bc I based this more off my concept of shidou. +We don’t have much info about his backstory, so I do kinda have more room for headcannoning

MY TAKE This is more paragraph based, vs the bullet-pointy-ness of the mainsource breakdown

From vibes, I felt that you’d pair well with someone who has a strong character, but is also flexible to some change.

I think people underestimate the chillness/laidback-ness (can u tell i suck at english?) of Shidou, I really do think he is peak nonchalant dreadhead. He has a strong personality, one that would keep you entertained/invested, and he’s overall good company. He’s also very unfazed, which means that you don’t have to worry about him judging you at all, there are very few things he’d turn down.

Shidou was definitely the first to make a move (given the way he is), and you probably humored him enough to where he wouldn’t leave you alone. 

“My fashion style tends to rotate between cutesy pastel clothes, alternative, and elegant/cool”

This was definitely enough to catch Shidou’s attention. He would shamelessly try to hit on you. 

You probably made a joke out of it, accepting sarcastically. He could not tell it was sarcasm.

Now he’s gotten really good at telling when you’re joking. Laughing since he knows you’re being sarcastic while everyone else looks greatly concerned at the both of you.

If anything, he almost always adds on to your sarcasm with more sarcasm, mocking and taunting whoever else isn't picking up on it.

He’s a simple minded and strong willed person, but I do think that he’d be able to keep up with any sort of conversation you throw his way, from silly questions to philosophical ones. The type of person to give you shockingly good life advice at 4am yk? He seems to know exactly what he wants in life, and doesn’t even think about being offended at any questions.

There are two ways to see Shidou. Either a completely open book, or someone with so much depth it’s shocking that his exterior is so open. He’d be very intrigued that someone’s trying to look deeper into him, and will probably be more around you, and casually drop his deepest lore mid joke to lead you on.

He also uses this against other ppl. If he’s ever questioning the sincerity of a person, he’ll turn to you like “They’re fatherless, aren’t they-”

Will also introduce you to Charles like 

“This is my s/o (or friend, depending on the time) they can read minds >:))” “REALLLYY? THAT’S SO COOL- WHAT AM I THINKING RN??” Then you’ll blow Charles’ mind and he’ll be like “WOAHHHH UR LIKE MAGICAL OR SUM-”

If Shidou ever gets you anything, it’ll be in purple. If there’s anything purple, he’ll get it for you.

Also has a purple ‘friendship’ bracelet(which you may or may not even know about) bc it reminds him of you. It doesn’t go with his fits at all, so people point it out often, and he uses it as an excuse to rant about you.

I would say the same for sure goes for Shidou. He probably hates frauds and basics, people who follow societies’ path for the sole reason that they lack their own intelligence.

Although I do worry that his emotional intelligence is often overshadowed by his ignorance, but he knew he’d have to be more careful around you if he wanted to keep you around.

“I can’t say I’m really empathetic”

Shidou doesn’t need anyone empathetic, nor is he himself. So this is never a concern between you two

I feel like Shidou’s actually pretty down to earth, so I don’t think he’d have a problem with realism. And I think his (realistic?)optimism would balance your pessimism well, he’d never let something like that get in the way of having fun~

That’s no problem for Shidou, if anything he’d come to you before he does something stupid just to get your approval to make sure it’s somewhat reasonable. Comes to you whenever theres a problem he needs to get around, or when he’s pissed someone off and isn’t allowed to engage for advice. Basically goes to you for advice on everything. Including “What pizza should I get? Cheese or Pepperoni? Should I just get both? Im gonna get both.”

I’m going to assume your F vs T is pretty on the line then, or at least you have a good grasp on both sides. I would say the same goes for Shidou. He likes to rely on feeling to make his own reckless decisions, but definitely has a thinker in him (especially when judging others).

This 10000% is the same for Shidou. If you two are ever in a group setting, he will just drag you out with some half-assed excuse to talk to you. And even if you were in group settings, he’d have all his attention on you, and would only snap out of it if someone clapped in his face, or you spoke to him

Shidou has probably received minimal affection to begin with, so really he’s happy with anything. But acts of service happen a lotttt, you make his life so much easier and better, and he loves you for it. He also has a dedicated shelf for all the little things you’ve given him, and he loves just looking through them thinking “They got this for me… they’re fcking amazing.”

“Dislikes: Exercising”

Too bad you are now running from security with him (its okay he’ll carry you if you get tired)

Wil definitely encourage you to go out more often, but also loves carrying you around(with permission)

If there is ever someone you don’t want to be talking to, he will not hesitate to just drag you away the next moment, or just slur off the other person until they leave.

Overall I think there's defiantly potential between the two of you, if this was a real relationship then both of you will defiantly develop a lot through it, but I think it'd be good!

I had the vibe picked out before anything, so I picked the person closest to said vibe and went with that! bc again, we still don't know a lot about Shidou (and i personally haven't poked into the Shidou theories) so this is the best I came up with!

It was a normal Sunday morning for shrii. She was ready for the day, to tackle some work, and she groomed her tail and ears before getting ready to start her review for her Algebra 2 math quiz.

Meanwhile, fishii was busy staring at the discord chats she and shrii shared. They had a connection, she just knew it. It was as if it was fate that she was shrii's mate. After all, it wasn't everyday that fishii felt butterflies in her stomach.

Fishii decided to wait for shrii. After all, they were only online friends. She decided to meet shrii on her trip to Japan.

When shrii went to Japan, she met fishii without knowing it was her. After all, it had been a long time. Fishii's tail and ears were furrier than before, and shrii's tail and ears became less furry, like a cat's ears and tail. So they talked after meeting, not recognizing one another, and they both had an amazing time.

But the truth had to come out soon.

Fishii stared at shrii's energetic eyes looking at the fireworks in the summer festival, her tail peaking out of the kimono. Fishii held shrii's hand, and she gently held it. That's when she finally admitted it:

"shrii, I'm your mate."

"Really? I felt some sort of connection too, fishii—"

"No, shrii. I'm fishii."

Shrii stared in shock, and fishii sighs before taking both of shrii's hands and hugging her. Shrii starts crying, and fishii comforts her, resting shrii's head on her chest, her kimono gently embracing shrii.

They were meant to be. Even if they didn't know each other.

Sae lucked out. 

Usually he doesn’t take up promotion offers or other sponsorships and such, but when the chance came to model with you on a shoot, he had agreed before he could even comprehend what was happening.

The brand was a pretty big one, one of the biggest sports brands in Japan. They were known for hiring big name athletes, and with soccer being on the rise, they had extended invitations to you and Sae.

(you could be requested since ur a model, or being a pro soccer player, or just a normal person with connections to the agency, it’s up to you!)

Sae wasn’t sure if you had declined your invitation, the agency said that you had yet to get back to them when he asked.

But Sae would be willing to wager his right foot if it meant there was even a chance to see you again.

He had deleted all your contacts the day he broke up with you, and he hated himself for it. Sae had considered buying a phone book just to flip through every page to find your name, or contact the phone agency to go through their database. But he told himself to keep some dignity so you wouldn’t think he was pathetic. (he knew he was. And it was his fault)

The dreams of you never went away. But slowly he started to find comfort in them. Going to sleep sooner, and trying to get himself to fall back asleep were unfortunately now part of his schedule.

“I miss you” “What are you talking about Sae, I’m right here!” “...I wish you were.” “?” “I’m so sorry. Please, forgive me.”

Sae’s eyes opened slowly, he grumbled and sighed before rolling over and checking his phone for the time 

7:45am

Sae’s mental health started to get better, the more he accepted that he missed you. But obviously with that, he was thinking of you more. You were his wallpaper, password, he buys your favorite food and drinks when he goes out, everything.

If ur famous, he even has some of your merch, and has made donations to you before.

“If I can't have the real thing I'll settle for this”

Sae was happy to just be your fan (even if you aren't famous), he could still love you without having to hurt you.

But part of him still hoped you were single, that you still loved him, at least that you didn't hate him.

He wanted to apologize, he needed to. Unless you've moved on already… was it bad that he hoped you didn't?

Whatever… it was time to get going anyway.

Sae threw on the first articles of clothing he could find, since it was a modeling shoot, he would be given new things to wear anyway.

He wondered what you would wear.

His hoodie maybe? No. He demanded it back when you broke up, and now he was clinging to your scent on it like a dog. He wished he'd at least left you with something 

Sae mindlessly waved off the tact driver as he got out the car and walked through the building. The shoot was set to take place on the 53rd floor.

He spammed the elevator button, unconsciously wanting to see you sooner. He even arrived early and everything, knowing that you often showed up a half hour before anything started.

The elevator doors opened, Sae felt a bit disappointed that he hadn't accidentally ran into you. Whatever. He'd see you in a few minutes anyway.

As the numbers indicating the floors went up, Sae’s mind became just a bit more crowded. His palms had a few beads of sweat as he quenched his fist, he hadn't been this nervous even for the BLLK vs U20 game.

He shut his eyes and focused his mind. It wasn't that big of a deal.

The doors opened. Finally. 

Sae stepped out and tried not to walk to fast and seem desperate, he pushed open the door to the designated room.

Even though there were still 30 minutes til the shoot, camera men, makeup specialists, designers, and staff were running around, helping the other models.

But Sae payed no mind to them. He skimmed the faces of everyone, getting more and more frustrated that you weren't there.

“Mr.Itoshi!” An assistant called out “Please, right this way, let's get you dressed-”

“Quiet.”

Sae shushed him instantly.

He continued looking around, and there you were.

You stood outside the room, leaning out on the handrails of the balcony looking down.

A shiver went up your spine, you hated heights. What were you doing here?

Right. Avoiding a certain man Calming yourself down before the reunion  Nothing really.

You sighed. You had no clue if Sae would show, of if you even wanted him to…

Who are you kidding. You've been dreaming about the man for the past several months, of course you missed him.

If only he missed you too. 

“Careful now”

An arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you back from the railing and into their chest.

“I thought you hated heights.”

“...Sae…? I thought you hated me?”

“No. I would never.”

Sae brushed your hair out of your face, Fuck. He was in love again.

You looked down, not sure what to say as you avoided his gaze.

“Hey. Look at me.”

He lightly tilted your head up with his finger, eyes locked on yours

“I missed you.”

He leaned in and kissed your lips, which he had missed oh so much

“You don't know how many times I've dreamt about this.”
