All of them happen to be attending an academy which is a mountain clouds academy. when they were all being placed in groups cloudy clouds got placed with bluff oak, weirdo wilds and chameleon fluff. But chameleon fluff technically isn't part of the group because they're technically a stuffed animal, so they're still waiting on their fourth group member to join. So it's just the three of them for now (and kind of chameleon fluff)

This is based on a headcannon i have of Dave, Mark, and Sarah. Basically here is the headcanon, Mark and his little sister Sarah's parents were never really around. But they had their Uncle (Dave) to take care of them and watch them. so over the years, mark and Sarah saw Dave as their parent. Also Dave was the one that got Mark his pat cat. It's something I headcannon because I like to think that Dave is their uncle and most of the fandom does too.
