Yellow- What is something your OC wants but knows they can never have? How does it feel to never get this specific desire?
Ooo this one is fun.
Marks greatest desire, would be to understand himself. Know more about himself. Be himself. When he was remade, he wasnāt remade whole, only given the parts Lucifer deemed necessary to appease Joseph. He has little memories of the life he was created based on, some memories without feelings, and some feelings without memories.
The longer he goes on, realizing through others how much heās missing, he hates it. Absolutely loathes it. It becomes more obvious to him when he talks with people heās supposed to know, but doesnāt. Even those he does, like Sarah, treat him like a stranger simply because for all accounts and purposes, he is. Deep down he hates himself for it a little more then he hates Lucifer or Joseph for it.
/prev is the real Cesar dead or is it smt else going on?, did Cesar and Adam cross paths due to some kind of alternate connection?, does Cesar have any sort of recollection of mark?, is mark some kind of ghost or corpse?, (sorry for the load of question but answer as many as you would like!)
Iāll just hit all of these out of the ball park, since theyāre super easy!
- The real Cesar is both dead, and alive. The type of alternate to kill him, was a Mutation varient that ended up taking the meal from a Hunter. It basically consumes the soul and destroys it, merging with the form to become a classic impostor(though usually very fucked up looking). Because of interference, it never managed to fully destroy his soul, yet still absorbed it. How strongly the soul has influence over the alternate changes a lot.
- Cesar and Adam crossed paths at the church, when after a service the reverend found the boy staring at one of the statues of Mary. This was the first time they ever met. This was still during the time when Adam and Sarah were working together.
- Cesar does remember Mark, thanks to the memories given through the human Cesarās soul. He recalls most details, though some memories have been lost, leaving only a lingering feeling of grief. He doesnāt remember that night well either. Just running through the woods, and Markās terrified face.
- Mark is an alternate! He was created by Lucifer at the request of 6/Joseph who had grown very attached to the boy and didnāt want to lose him. He is not thankful for that at all.

Soccer Ball- Who is someone that your OC believes in and roots for? Are they private about their admiration or do they make it well known?
Mark is very Team Sarah, understandably. He makes it his duty to protect her, and keep her life easy and fulfilling and tries his best to make sure things go her way. He keeps this private from the other Reborn, and especially keeps it away from Lucifer, though hes halfway sure he already knows. He does make it well known to others though, such as other lower alternates, or Adam and Jonah once he catches whiff of their behavior.
OāBrien roots for Cesar, all the way. He is very proud of how his Midnight Star has proven itself, and hopes to see the it become a true harbinger of the new world. He is very vocal about this, especially to Mary and Joseph, though he makes sure they keep the whole thing under wraps from Mark. He doesnāt want it interfering.

Purple- What is something that your OC could not live without? What keeps them grounded in the worst of times?
For Cesar, he could never live without his family. Not necessarily the one from before he became not him, though he does constantly think about his mother, and misses her very very dearly. He relies heavily now on the family heās managed to make for himself. His friendship with Thatcher and Dave is what keeps him motivated to do things, especially when they drag him out to do activities. The BPS group he views like their his own kids, especially Adam. He cares deeply for him, and helps him when things are hard in regards to their true natures. They together keep his pieces from falling apart, and he would not be where he was if they didnāt exist, or ceased to.
For Mark, itās a very similar case. Sarah is the last living remnant of who he was before, and is the embodiment of everything that made up his past(aside from Cesar, though he doesnt view him as anything more then his absolute enemy for a long time. Eventually they get better and he gets bumped up to a similar though definitely lower level as Sarah) despite his anger towards them in the beginning, he does eventually come around to Joseph and Mary as well, viewing them as some kind of odd aunt and uncle. Jonah he views as some what a son, or close to it. He relates to him, and does hid best to be the friend he deserves, especially after the house incident.
For Sarah, itās Dave and Mark. She loves them both with all of her heart, and works tirelessly to be good enough for both. To Dave she owes everything, after he had given her a home, a job, and a life when her mother moved away. He raised her better then any of her real family ever had, save for Mark, who was her borderline dad when he was still alive. And she missed him every day. Her search for his killer is what keeps her grounded. Itās what gives her motive. A purpose. The reason she wakes up everyday. She wants to do him justice, and peace. She prays to The Lord every night that heās happy wherever he is, and that he knows his sister loves him with every ounce of her being. He never responds, and Mark knows he never will.

White- When was a moment in your OC's life that they felt the most vulnerable and exposed? Were they alone or surrounded?
A moment when Cesar felt the absolute most vulnerable would be when he became aware of how much of his life had been a lie. When hes finally made aware if what he is, and what heās done, it breaks him. All his life he tried to be as good of a person as he could possibly manage, and spent so much of that time in the background grieving over his life and how it had all fallen through without him even being able to remember why, other then the fact it was most likely his fault. To have that not just proven true, but shown to be infinitely worse, itās to much. Heās lucky enough to have his bee family around him at that point, but it takes months to fully get back to somewhat normal.
For Mark, it was when he was about to kill Jonah, and Sarah had entered to witness. Never before had he felt so open and lost then in that moment where looking into his sisters eyes he saw nothing but fear. Fear, and anger. He was doing it for her, to help her, but at that moment it felt like everything he had done for that purpose had just been ripped from under him. He couldnāt understand why she was mad. She didnāt look at him like it was him. He let Jonah go. He only had Joseph after that, left in the ruins of both of their bad decisions. For the first time they saw eye to eye

ESCAPE Part 6 - static au TW: staring, i believe
Mark has made his way out through the window. Blood was splattered across his room. Sarah didn't make it in time.
He ran and ran and ran , through the town and back.
Everything seemed fine until he saw her. The body of his deceased friend. The corpse of someone he cared about. He looked at it from afar. He stared at it. He contemplated.
Who did this to you?
Who did this to you, my sweet friend?
He felt devastated. But not in a grieving way. In an angry way. Someone took her from him. Someone, something. Mark couldn't take this.
He stared at Cesar from afar. But something was off. Cesar was still breathing. Mark came closer to it, lifting Cesar to his arms, hugging him. He wasn't gonna die. Cesar was fate-sealed to be infected and suffer everything.
Mark hugged Cesar tightly, seemingly crying. But was he? Was he crying? He didn't know. Someone who he cared about, even if unable to do so after being ill, was dead. Worse, infected. Mark decided to drag Cesar off with him till Mark was the one collapsing.
I'm sorry, Cesar.
A COCOON Part 7 - static au TW: GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION, EMETO/GERMOPHOBIA TRIGGER
Mark dragged Cesar on his shoulders before collapsing on the cold , bloody asphalt. His breathing sounded like a struggling dog . His chest pulsed weirdly .
He laid down on his back as he let go of Cesar , extending his own arms out . Mark's body released the last throbs of the bile overbloat from his mouth , his nose , his eyes and his ears . All in generous quantities . 20 minutes passed with vomiting . He took his lasts breathes before he felt his ribs crack .
Something was coming out of him.
It burst out like a praying mantis getting out of its old , rotten exoskeleton . Although there was barely any blood .
All this time , Mark was already dead . Since the very start of his stationary state he had been already loosing blood .
Whatever the creature was it was tall , almost as tall as what Jonah was now . It had eyes that could stare into your soul and suck it right through .
It contorted in weird ways as it ate through its . . HIS. His own old body . The way he was eating it wasn't normal though . Not the way Jonah feasted upon Cesar . Not the way a mantis would attack . He almost seemed to be fusing with that old skin , incorporating it , the bones , the skin , everything .
It was all now simply inside of the new body .
He nibbled Cesar a few times in affection before leaving her or . . her deformed, barely alive carcass somewhere under a shady place .
In all of this , Cesar was aware . She was aware of everything and the agony that she knew she couldn't get over of .
He was forced to lay there as he very slowly felt his body starting to deform in various , freakish ways , her ribs going in backwards , her intestines offering as a bigger body to possibly crawl .
" What have they done to you , Cesar ? "
