Synopsis: After the raid that the warriors went on earlier that day, Lo’ak gets a scolding from his father & he comes to you in comfort.

Lo’ak x GN! Reader

You and Mo’at are in her tent grinding and mixing plants to make ointments and new medicines for when the worriers come back home. You were in your own world when suddenly Tuk yelled out “They’re back! ____! Kiri! Spider! Hurry up!” You rushed to put your things down and hurriedly ran to the big crowd that surrounded them.

You pushed through the crowd saying ‘Excuse me’ & ‘Sorry’. Once you got to the fromt your eyes immediately went to the Sully’s. Currently Neteyam and Lo’ak were getting scolding from their father. Neytiri stepped in and was talking some sense into Jake while also trying to take Neteyam to his grandmother to heal him.

Lo’ak had to stay behind while still getting scolded by his father. You couldn’t stay long so you had to leave and go to your tent. Jake dismissed Lo’ak and he had a sad but also angry look in his eyes while he tended to his Ikran and stormed off to find you. While you were mixing new ingredients to make his new medicine you wanted to try, Lo’ak stormed into your tent and sat in front of you. You just sighed and set your stuff down...again.

“What is wrong Lo’ak?” You look at him in his eyes waiting for him to speak “I’m upset at my father. He always scolds me, it makes me feel like a big disappointment to everyone.” He has a sad look on his face and you held out your arms for him to take comfort into. He rushed into your arms quickly which you almost fell backwards on the floor but you caught yourself.

You held him close to you as you ran your fingers through his hair. He sighed calmly as you pressed a light kiss to his forehead “You know you’re not a disappointment to anyone Lo’ak, your father is just hard on you. I don’t think he has to be that hard on his sons but he has a reason for that.”

The atmosphere is calm inside your tent. You’d often find crystals in the forest to keep and collect. One of the humans has a collection too, they said that they use them to do something called ‘Manifestation’. You wanted to try it out, so it will hopefully give you more opportunities from Eywa to show you in the direction you desire.

You often manifested that Lo’ak and his fathers relationship will greaten sooner or later. Hoping that they will finally stop butting heads with each other. You’ve went to Great Mother as well, praying to her that they will finally get along.

It has only been a few minutes of you continuing your work when you suddenly hear a light snore on your chest. You look down and there you see it, Lo’ak has fell asleep on you. You lightly chuckled and tried not to move as much to not wake him. Then an idea came into your mind. You leaned your face down and lightly kissed his fore head, this his left and right cheek, his chin, his cheekbones, his nose, and then his lips.

That’s when he started to stir a little in his slumber. You sighed lovingly down at him watching you lover sleep peacefully. He always looked so handsome when he was sleeping, you just now realized. After a few more minutes you decided to wake him, as it was eclipse and his family was probably worried about where their son was.

Then, another Idea came into your mind. You saw a bowl of water, over next to you. The you slowly looked back at Lo’ak whilst trying to get the bowl. You finally grabbed it and you counted down in your head ‘5,4,3,2,1!’. Then he woke up immediately and had an annoyed look on his face and he stood up, whilst you were laughing your ass off at him.

“You should’ve seen you face Lo’ak!” You held your hand over your mouth trying to hold back more laughter. “Oh yeah?” then he suddenly poured the rest of the water on you! You stood there shocked, while Lo’ak was across from you laughing. The you stood up aswell and then started laughing with him.

Your fun has to come to and end when you remember why you woke him up. “You have to go to your tent now Lo’ak, it is eclipse.” He groaned while you pushed him out of your tent. “It was fun spending time with you today love.” He turned around and gave you a passionate kiss on your lips as a goodbye and you watched him walk away to his tent with a smile on his face.

“Goodnight ____!” He yelled with a wink afterwards you just smirked in return “Goodbye Lo’ak.” You said with a smile and a wave, then you went back into your tent to wind down. You were happy with yourself that you could lift your boyfriends mood before he went back home today.

“What was that?” He looked at you with an angry expression. “Nothin, I aint say anything.” You looked away from him walking into the kitchen getting yourself something to drink to calm your nerves.

“Nah nah, go into the bedroom.” He came up to the island counter and looked at you while you were drinking your water. “Nuh uh, you can’t just put your dick in me every time we have a problem. Now you just doing too much.” “If I’m doing too much, then your not doing enough.”

You stopped drinking your water and looked at him. You tsked at him “That’s a damn lie, you don’t even hug and kiss me no more.”

“okay and I’ve been working on that, every time I try to do something right here you go making another issue.” Now your looking at him like he offended you. He’s trying to make it seem like you’re the problem.

“Oh no sir don’t turn this shit on me. My friends were right when I took your ass back.”

“You aren’t shit. Your only good for dick and nothing else.” You we’re so sick and tired of this shit happening. “Mama look, I’m sorry. I wasn’t cheating on you. Promise. I was just at Levi’s getting some more weed.”

“If you were ‘Just getting some more weed’ then whyd you lie?” Eren sighed before looking at you in your eyes. “Cuase I know how much you don’t want me around him.”

You were shocked that Eren was with Levi. “Boy, bye I’m leaving cause wtf were you doing with him? You coulda gotten weed from anyone else.” You we’re walking towards the door to put your slides on when you felt a tug on your arm.

“Eren, I don’t have time for this. Let me go.” You tugged for your arm back as you tried to put your jacket on. “No, cause now you’ve got me fucked up. Why you still have an attitude ma?”

You tried not to look at him and just huffed in annoyance. “I’m talking to you.” You turned around and looked up at him. “Cause you should’ve lied in the first place. What don’t you get?” You said snapping your fingers in his face.

“Okay first, I apologized. Second lose the attitude before I have to make it go away for you.” You we’re very short tempered, when something you didn’t like happens you get upset so quick.

You smacked your lips “Boy please I ain’t losing nothing.” You said so confidently before he picked you up over his shoulder and carried you to the bed room.

You and your family left your home to seek safety away from the Sky people. It was sad leaving your home,but you knew it was for the best to keep your family safe. You didn’t exactly know where you all were going to go but it seemed like your father did.

You all traveled through eclipse and through storm. Your Ikran was getting tired of flying but then you say ahead a place which looked like…a reef? You didn’t know what exactly your father has lead you all here for so you were just confused. When you all were approaching you saw the people of the clan. Which they look very different from what you were used to seeing.

You landed on the island and all of their clan all of a sudden showed up. Their faces were kind of giving us mixed signals. Some were looking like they were confused,while others gave looks of disapproval. You all landed your Ikrans on the sandy shore and as you all got off,your father being the first to step foot on the land walked towards the people with his hands raised as if to show peace.

The locals kept staring and after a few minutes you’ve gotten uncomfortable but luckily your older brother Neteyam saw your discomfort and stood beside you to shield you from their eyes. You look around the place trying to take it all in when your eyes landed on something in the water.

It seemed to be a person, a beautiful one in fact. You were starting at her for awhile as she moved out of the water,it was so hard to take you eyes off of her. As she fully came out of the water the two of you made eye contact for a few seconds. “Hey” you said with a small smile. You tried to wave at her but your brother smacked your hand down as the Olo’eyktan showed up.

All she did in return was giggle at you and smile and you couldn’t help but feel all giddy inside as you watch your father and the Olo’eyktan talk. In the middle of their conversation a woman showed up, dressed in more finer clothes so she had to the Tsahik. After a while your father and the clan leader finally decided that you and your family would stay with the clan..as long as you all adapt.

He mentioned that his son & daughter will assist you all along the way. “My children, Ao’nung and Tsireya will be assisting your children to adapt to the water.” Then you looked to his side and there she was. You finally caught her name and smiled to yourself. It was a very beautiful name suited for her. “Come! I will show you our village.” She looked very excited to help us. You could just tell You’ll have a good time with her during all this.

It has been a few weeks of being with the Metkayina and you and your siblings have been learning well. Recently Tsireya has been giving you longing looks,staring a little too long at you. You were occupying yourself with things to do until it became eclipse. You were making a necklace for Kiri, you’ve seen her looking at these crystals in the ocean so you’ve gotten some for her. You hid the necklace under a blanket and headed out of your Marui.

You walked a long the shore for a while and soon enough,you saw her on a rock in the waters. So you swam up to her smiling and she gave you a warm smile back. You pulled your self on the rock and sat criss crossed.

“We will start with you lesson now.” She said as she gently put her hand on your stomach and chest. “Breathe in slowly.” You feel your heart beat faster because of how close she is to your face. “Your heart rate is very fast. Calm down.” Smiling gently you nodded as if determined.

You tried to slow your heart beat down but it failed. She looked up at you in your eyes without saying anything. You waited for her to leave before you sighed like you were in love. After a while of waiting you swam back to shore and walked to your family’s Marui.

Over the next few days you and Tsireya have been doing that often. Even during the lessons, kissing behind huge rocks or coral reefs you name it. Both of your parents hav been suspicious of you two lately,seeing a change in your behaviors.

So, all four of them met up late at night to have a discussion about you two. “Do you think something is going on between them? They’ve both been acting the exact same, all giggly and happy.” Your mother said with a worries look on her face.

Tonowari sighed and said “I do think something is going on, the behavior was just so sudden.” Tonowari seemed more calm about this situation, meanwhile Ronal is not having it. She believed Tsireya needs to distractions during her Tsahik training and you were clearly on of them.

“I think we should keep that away from each other.” All of the parents look at her to continue. “It won’t be temporary, just until Tsireya becomes Tsahik in my place..I cannot have her having any distractions from that.” With a stern look on all of their faces they agree and nod their heads.

You and tsireya have been distant from each other lately. Nothing bad was going on between the two of you,but your tasks were just keeping you apart. You still try and make time for each other but it was never long, only a few minutes.

While you and Tsireya were walking past each other she stopped you and whispered in your ear “Come meet me at our spot tonight.” She said with a worried look. You nodded and kept walking ahead wondering what she was so worried about.

Surprisingly you swam to the rock first this time getting there before her. Usually she was always there before you. Hmm. Somethings definitely wrong. Sooner or later she shows up and apologizes for being late. “What did you need to discuss? When you came to me you seemed worried. What is wrong?” She sighed and looked down at her fingers.

“I don’t think we should do.. this anymore.” She gestures to you and her. Did she not like you anymore? Why would she do this? ”Why? Have I don’t something wrong? I promise I’ll fix it-” “No! it is not you. It is our parents. I think they’re onto us and..to my mother, becoming the Tsahik after her means everything to her. I don’t want to let her down.” Looking down, you understand want she meant, she thought you were being a distraction towards her and her goal.

“But just know,during anything ____ I see you.” She said witha genuine face but it was also full with hurt. “I see you Tsireya” you sniffled slightly and tried to give your best smile to her only to fail.

It hurt your heart knowing that you won’t be able to be together because of that,but you respect her and her wishes with a silent nod and tears coming down your face slowly. You got up and swam back to shore. “____! Wait!” She yelled after you but you just kept walking. Wiping your tears away.

The days after that, you and Tsireya never talked about anything other than the lessons it was something she forgot to show you all because it slipped her mind..because during that time she was with you.

You never look her way anymore. Never thought about her more than a helping guide on how to live there. The same goes for her, she is trying to keep her reputation up,& being with someone? Was not on the table.

I guess that’s just how it was going to be from now on..
