I’m so pissed of that showrunners trying to make Aemond a total evil. He’s actually not in the books he didn’t try to kill his brother. They are doing dirty to our boy :(
Exactly , fucking exactly. I had to rewatch the scene and ask myself why'd they do that. They massacred our man's potential to be a badass anime villain to the blacks but, now we got a medieval school shooter whose out to get everyone.

Nobody they're just all fucked.
But if the greens don’t have Otto Hightower and the blacks don’t have Rhaenys Targaryen, then who the hell has the only brain cell in this series?
My god bitches in the fandom don’t know how to have fun 😭
As she should because, she had her faults but, let's not forget the man that kicked off this shit show.

all that pain, and humiliation was for nothing. trying to find emotional relief through her faith, and yet she is still hurting. Losing herself through her “harsh” actions (as a mother would!) for the sake of the safety of her children … will be and always was for nothing. The bubble of dissociation and denial popped by the one person she wanted for herself from the beginning. Doomed by the narrative, no matter how hard she tried to change it. :(
This man is tragic.

That's when we see Aegon breaking down. When he realizes that no one, not even his own mother, ever believed in him, that all his attempts to become a worthy king were useless, because everyone around him always saw him only as a loser, who even in theory couldn't become something more.

That Scene did it for me. I SOBBED! The look in Criston’s eyes when he sees Aegon, the boy he watched growing up and probably helped raise in some way, laying there unconscious and broken. The way he fell to his knees as if everything just came crashing down, while Aemond just turned and walked away as if that is not his brother laying there half dead. This family… They’re the real tragedy.
