Not sure if it's a personal opinion but I'm certain that drawing female werewolves or snake people with any sort of humanoid tiddies is absolute bullshit. (Same with the male ones, but they rarely have their tits so strongly focused on.) Snakes don't even nurse their young at all they wouldn't need breasts anyway, and most mammals usually have between 8 and 10 nipples on their stomach for nursing their young.

Even if it's a well-endowed woman turning into a werewolf, if her anatomy changes so much as to turn her side-of-head ears into on-top-of-head wolf ears, her mouth into a snout and transform her limbs to be able to run comfortable on all fours, as well as give her inhuman strength and stamina (and potentially a thirst for blood), it can also change her human breasts to wolf breasts.

(Now if someone takes this as their calling to draw a wolfwoman with 8 overly big tiddies on her stomach, that is not on me. That is on the artist and they deserve full credit for this abomination of creative thought.)

FMA has helped me through a really difficult time in my life, being uplifting but humble, funny yet sobering. The alchemy in it was never the solve-every-problem kinda solution but rather simply another tool to be used how one saw fit. Ultimately, every problem still got solved through critical thinking and character growth, Everything the characters did - “good” or “bad” - was done because of and through them being so ultimately human.

It really made me realize that both the best version of yourself you can be and the power to transform into that version have always and will always lie within you. You don’t need any supernatural ability to reach it, just determination and maybe a little help to see things as they are.

Though being a rather dark time for me, I will always be able to look back on it with fondness and hope for things to come

I don't mean this in any jokey or disrespectful way; is there any truth to the alchemy in say, the Full Metal Alchemist anime? The symbols or transmutation circles?

Actually the author of FMA did a ton of research into historical western alchemy. The whole law of equivalent exchange is a real alchemical concept from hermetica, and one that sir Issac Newton expounded into the law of thermodynamics.

The elrics dad, Van Hoenhiem, is based on a real alchemist named Theophrastus Bombastus Von Hoenhiem. At one point Pride even references the real alchemists name.

Basically everything about alchemy in FMA is taken from primary sources, down to the symbology of transmutation circles to the color scheme of Edwards design.

One of the first steps to becoming an actual caring community.

Funny enough, feeding my loved ones and anyone else "friend-shaped" around - be it offering them snacks, inviting them out to lunch or inviting them over for dinner - has for years now been one of my strongest love languages. I feel the most connected to someone when sharing a meal with them.

legit the best advice i can give you: feed your friends

any time someone is in any kind of crisis or upheaval, offer to feed them. tell them they don’t have to choose what it is if they can’t make decisions, just ask about allergies and preferences and tell them you’re just gonna make food happen at their house.

friend having a baby? delivery gift certificate to order food to the hospital after the kid shows up.

someone’s relative passes away? offer to make them dinner.

buddy gets laid off? ask if you can order them lunch.

pal stuck in a depressive episode? offer to drive them to fucking mcdonalds, if that’s what they want.

people in crisis are tired and sad and angry and the last thing most of them are doing is thinking about feeding themselves. so if you have the ability or time or money, providing that is always, always a good move.

legit i do this all the time, and it is 100% always appreciated. i have taught all my friends that when something happens, we feed each other. it makes people feel extremely cared for, and I cannot recommend it enough.
