School had let out and Billy walked me out to my car, Amara walking on the other side of me. I slipped a small note into his hand before getting in my Car, he looked a little confused at me. I nudged Amara and she sighed, I held out 8 fingers for her to see.

“She says you can swing by around 8 o’clock” Amara clarified, he nodded and stepped back so I could drive away.

“Y/N you seem to be taking quite the liking to him, why?’ Amara asked, I rolled my eyes and laughed.

“Well, he’s nice, not a perv, not disgusting, and he seems to have a nice personality. I’ve told him off and he seems determined to prove me wrong. It’s endearing” I replied, she nodded and hummed. It was quiet for a bit until I pulled into the convenience store parking lot, I stepped out leaving Amara with the car, and walked in. It was no surprise when I saw Tommy and his friends also in there, the store was close to our homes. I walked around and grabbed some snacks, it was all peaceful until I was met with a wall created by Tommy’s buddies.

“Well, if it isn’t little miss quiet. I’ve seen you been cozying up to Billy lately, What am I not good enough for you? I could treat you like a whore just the same” He conceded, I rolled my eyes and turned around walking the other way.

“Must be good, if Billy hasn’t dropped you yet. Why not give the rest of us a taste?” He said laughing, I flipped him off and walked away. I don’t have time to entertain these shit for brains boys, but they can’t seem to leave me alone. I picked up the last of my items and walked to the counter, The man rang me up and I pulled out my cash. After I finished, I walked out back to my car.

“What did you get?” Amara inquired, I handed her the bag as I got in quickly driving away.

“The Red vines are for you” I said, she smiled and took her candy out. I made it home quickly and just sat in the car for a couple of minutes while Amara ran inside, I sighed and got out after her.

~~~~ I was lying in bed now just watching the film on my Tv until there was a knock on my door, I let out a quiet come-in. I had completely forgotten that Billy was going to come over, especially since it was now 10 and he was supposed to be here at 8. He slowly pushed my door open, slid off the guest house slippers at my room door, and closed the door behind him. His eyes scan my whole room before they landed on me, I watched his eyes rack over my body, I had on a wrap my parents had brought back for me from my home country. My legs were exposed as well as my underwear, I sat up and smiled at him gesturing for him to sit on the chair near my bed.

“I totally forgot you were coming, you were supposed to be here two hours ago but can’t blame you if you were busy.” I said softly, he sat down and gave me a soft smile. I looked over him and saw a new bruise forming on his collar, as well as a busted lip. I reached over into my side table drawer and pulled out a first aid kit, he looked a little confused as I walked over to him.

“You have a bruise and a cut. I’m not going to let you get an infection, you don’t have to tell me how you got them but let me at least help you clean up.” I explained, but he didn’t say anything. I sat on his lap and pulled out a cotton ball, pouring some antiseptic on it. I gently applied it to his lip and he hissed at the burning, I whisper sorry and kept cleaning the cut. His hands found their way to my waist and didn’t wander after that, they had a firm grip on me as if I would disappear any second. I moved his shirt slightly to get a better look but he flinched and leaned back before I could see anything.

“As long as you’re not bleeding you don’t have to show me, Billy. You don’t have to share everything with me, if you’re not comfortable then I’ll leave you alone.” I emphasized, he nodded and I got up. I put my kit away and took out the snacks I bought earlier, I tossed him the bag and he took out a bag of chips.

I sat on my bed as Amara held up Two outfits for me, Since I had never gave a single boy my time. I had in turn, never gone on a date before, sure I went out with my friends. But never in a romantic setting, she was more nervous than I was for my date. Once she had finally chosen which outfit I would wear, I put the finishing touches on my hair that she had twisted for me. It was around 7:30 when we heard the doorbell, I grabbed my purse and started down the stairs. I could hear my mother talking to Billy and laying down the rules, I smiled as I came into Billy’s view. 

“You look Gorgeous” He said, I chuckled and sighed.

“You don’t look too bad yourself” I responded, I gave my mom a hug before walking out to Billy’s car with him. He was gentleman and opened the door for me, it was cute, he even dressed up a little Bit for me. He was wearing an ironed baby blue button up shirt and his black jeans, he got into the drivers seat and pulled out of the driveway.

“So where are we going Billy?” I asked him, he smirked and licked his lips.

“Well it may seem a little tame but we are going skating then for dinner” He explained

“Well Mr. Hargrove I love tame, but I don’t know how to skate” I replied, he looked a little shocked and laughed. He pulled into a parking spot and turned off the ignition.

“Don’t worry gorgeous I’ll be your teacher” He retorted, I rolled my eyes and stepped out of the vehicle. He followed my actions and walked with me into the rink, it was very colorful and was full of life. We walked over to the shoe checkin, I Handed them my sneakers in exchange for some skates in my size. Billy and I sat down on the seats next to the rink entrance, he laced himself up then proceeded to help me lace mine up.

“Billy I know how to tie laces” I proclaimed smiling, he was smiling and rolling his eyes. It was very endearing to see what a genuine smile looked like on him, once he finished lacing me up, he offered me a helping hand to stand up. 

“Come on sweetness, let me teach you how to skate.” He cooed, he led me to the rink as my balance was unsteady. He helped me slowly go around the rink twice before he decided to let his cocky attitude shine through. He let go of my waist as I held onto the wall, he skated out in front of me and turned so he was facing me. 

“You sure do take long to learn, and here I thought you would be an easy teach” he jested, I rolled my eyes and reached out for his hand. I really didn’t want to fall, it was hard to even keep moving.

“Oh sweetness do you want me that bad? I promise you can get a taste later.” He joked moving farther away from me laughing as he did so. I took a deep breath and tried to move a little faster towards him, until I was pushed over. I fell on my ass and it hurt like hell, Billy scrambled over to help me up. 

“Billy Why would you want her? She doesn’t even speak” A girl said, I flipped her off and used the other hand to hold onto Billy’s shoulder.
