How is it that I like a cool piece of artwork, go to the person who posted it a couple of minutes later and see some utterly grim stuff on their profile. Tumblr and "weird shite" are near synonyms for sure, but I wasn't hoping for that kind.

I also want to add on that it has singlehandedly raised my appreciation for a mythical beast I did not care about before, the manticore.
It derives pretty strongly from historical portrayals of it (several rows of teeth, bald, humanlike face, reddened fur). Said manticore also gets beaten by mightier beasts, fittingly.
