I’m still kinda in love with the idea of a “Brenner runs away to Italy and becomes a Papa Hemingway archetype that falls in love with his nurse” plot.

To be quite honest? No. I'll be glad when Stranger Things is past it.
I enjoy individual character development or established couples over those stumbling through the "will they or won't they last?" part of a relationship in fiction. The romantic chase is the least interesting part of a show's story to me.
I contribute a lot of theories about Stranger Things but my well is running dry lately because the hiatus is so long and they get progressively sillier and stupider as I go along. Also most of them are about Dr. Brenner or the result of me crushing over Dr. Brenner.
What I'm saying is I'm fantasizing about the whole Brenner in Italy thing.
