Eleven is basically a rewrite of Vicki from Small Wonder and that's the tea.
You can't kill off Dr. Brenner, he's too sexy.

Abel Ferrara directs Matthew Modine on the set of The Blackout.
I’m being completely honest in saying that for me the only good thing about Season 3 was Robin.
I’m not a shipper at all but I think something could have been addressed with Will and where Eleven and Max were going with their relationships (Let’s dump our boyfriends and figure out that we’re badass bisexuals could have been a cool subplot, Duffers!)
I still need to re-watch season 3 of Stranger Things but I find myself with little motivation to do it just because I know that I have to get through the "Mike and El are dating and Hopper hates it” stuff at the start and it’s so painfully heterosexual that I just can’t be bothered to be assaulted by it again.
It was hard enough to not skip through it the first time I saw it.
I get the weird feeling that when the pandemic winds down enough for ST4 to film, a lot of the plot is going to be rewritten and shifted to be about Dr. Brenner trying to right his wrongs instead of being about the main groups the show normally focuses on.
I think the season will suddenly be about Brenner working with the Russians to attempt destroying the Upside Down to save the planet, needing Eleven's help and in exchange for restoring her powers he needs to help her save Hopper.
