you scared him at the company, jumping out from a corner when he was going to go meet up with you. he flinched away with a loud ass gasp that had him loose his breath. he recovered quickly and stared at you with a glare and his nose scrunched up.

he walked away, leaving you to follow up after him, apologising and asking him what you two were going to eat for lunch. he didn’t speak for a few minutes, you could only tell he was fine by the slight smirk every now and then. after a few minutes of silence from him, he started to laugh and looked at you, “that was actually funny.”

you didn’t mean to scare him when he was in that position exactly. you didn’t know he was holding drinks for the both of you. so when you jumped around the corner, making him jump back, the drinks also spilt. he yelled in the process but you both fell quiet when you realised the drinks spilt.

you both stare at each other, not saying anything and not moving a muscle, just processing the situation. eventually you reach out and grab the drinks from his hands. “… sorry… and thank you..” he just blinked and nodded, a smile slowly creeping up on both of your faces.

he just got back from the gym and was currently looking around the house for you. you hid behind the bathroom door, quickly to yourself. when he went to the bathroom, still calling for you in a soft voice. you jumped behind him, yelling boo as you grab his shoulder.

he gasped loudly and quickly moved forward, away from you. looking back with wide eyes and jaw dropped. You laughed and moved in to hug him, greeting him with a gentle hello to contrast your previous actions. he laughed, saying hello as he hugged you back. it was going fine until he hugged you even tighter and had you hitting his back to be free from his grasp, yelping apologies. all the while he had a happy little smile on his face.

it wasn’t supposed to be like this. when you jokingly surprised him by jumping out from a corner, wearing a scary mask - it was just a joke. turns out he loves jokes, only if he can do them back. after he realises it’s you, he just tells you to watch your back before continuing to walk, calling back to you to ask if you wanted to order lunch together.

after he pranks you back, scaring you so much you screamed and startled your neighbours, you are both just being so cautious around each other. eventually you manage to settle on a deal with each other to no longer scare each other.

you were fearful when he stopped and stared at you. at first it was funny, waking your boyfriend up with a scary mask on. his eyes went wide and his hands went up to protect himself. he relaxed when he saw your pyjamas but he still ripped the mask off your head just to make sure,

what scared you was that he just stared at you with a blank expression as you giggle to yourself. he smiled, lifting his finger to brush some hair behind your ear, “you’ll regret that, love.” he said, making the smile leave your face immediately,

you quietly unlocked his door, and sneaked through the house until you got outside his room. you heard he was playing a game on his phone. daegal came running out of the room, and you picked her up immediately. chenle called out for daegal to come back, but she didn’t. you brace yourself but then jump into the doorway, yelling boo just to add to the thrill.

he gasped so loud, falling back into his bed - you didn’t even realise he was getting up. he glares at you as you giggle to yourself, patting daegal who was happily in your arms. he breaks into a smile and approaches you, but he just takes daegal out of your arms. “you’re mean.” he says, walking out of the room leaving you to follow after him as he continues to sulk and jokingly ignore you.

maybe you shouldn’t have put a mask on in the middle of the night when he didn’t know where you were. you were in your room, and he was on his way. you hadn’t heard him enter your house but you did hear him in the lounge room, calling for you. you decided to keep the mask on as you walked out to the lounge room.

his soul was gone the seocnd he laid eyes on that mask. he screeches in such a way you’ve never heard. you immediately take the mask off, apologising through your giggles and you quickly tell him you were going through your halloween box whole cleaning your room

in which you hid a secret from the whole world, only for it to be discovered by your boyfriend.

the books that held all sorts of knowledge levitated upwards, carefully making their way up through the air, defying gravity as your eyes stared out the window. your hand that relaxed by your side was the one that was doing all the work, you didn’t even need to look at the books for them to levitate.

it took a years to master this, and despite having no one you could tell this too, you had managed to master it completely, all the while keeping it a complete secret.

you were doing a good job at this secret keeping, until jisung burst into the room.

the books slam to the floor, making a loud noise that would be hard to cover up. you put a hand to your heart as you prepared to pretend that the loud noise was you - but judging by jisungs own expression, you couldn’t get out of this.

“what was that…”

he said, voice barely audible from how loud your heart was beating in your ears. your boyfriend was someone you loved, and you knew he loved you just as much. but he didn’t know this. this could change everything.

“uhm…” you stand to your feet, “what’s what?” you laugh, forcing a smile to your face.

“the books… I swear they-“

“it’s nothing, jisung.”

jisung snapped his head in your direction, tearing his eyes away from the books that had been levitating in the air not long ago.

“don’t lie to me.” he said, his eyes brows furrowing. his eyes pierce into yours, making you panic momentarily. you look away and walk to the other side of the room, approaching the desk.

you had done some research in the past and found that statistics that showed if people were to have magical powers, people would want them to go through testing, to be separated from society, no matter if it was someone they loved.

which is why, as jisung looked at you, you were moving things behind him as quietly as possible, just to make your escape easier.

“so when are you going to leave?” your free hand rises up from your lap and your fingers trace over your lamp that had gathered some dust over the past few days.

“what?” he seemed so perplexed by the idea that you almost let your guard down. you look at him briefly before looking away and sitting down on your desk chair.

“show me what you can do.” he says, walking over to you. you don’t move a muscle as you continue to look at the floor. he stands next to you and turns his back to the wall, looking out into the room from the corner you two were in.

silence fell over you two like a heavy blanket, almost suffocating you. you slowly tilt your head to look at him, your heart beating faster at the thought of this all going wrong.

did you trust him? yes, completely!

did you trust that he would be okay with this? not so much

“I’m not going to leave you unless you’re a killer or something, I swear.”

he said, and despite the lightheartedness to his words, his eyes spoke a different story. he was being honest and completely serious as he spoke.

you look over the pile of books that had yet to be moved since he came in. you look up to look into his eyes, as your hand began to twist, fingers bending in slightly as if you gripped the books - and they rose.

jisung didn’t realise yet, he was still looking at you. you flickered your gaze over the books quickly before looking back at him, wanting to see his reaction.

he looked over and instantly his mouth opened ever so slightly, a small gasp following short after as his his eyes widened.

you continued to watch his expression, as you moved the books around the air, making them dance in the air.

“…how?” he asks, never once looking back at you as he was mesmerised by your powers. your lips quirk up into a smile, as you two look over to your own masterpiece.

“I wish I knew.”

scenario : you confess to your friend, but when they didn’t respond quick enough, you grow embarrassed and walk away quickly, apologising before walking faster to the point you end up running away.

he was just about to reply, explain his own feelings he had for you, when you suddenly walked - and eventually ran - away from him. he wouldn’t know what to do for a few minutes before he eventually got his phone and quickly messaged you his feelings instead, telling you to meet up with him later so you two could talk it out.

you tried to stay, and tried to wait for his reply, but it never came. he seemed to be thinking really deeply about this, to the point you got scared. so you left. before you could get far, he ran after you and apologised for not responding, assuring you that he seriously did like you and was just trying to understand everything since you guys had only been joking a few minutes before this sudden confession. safe to say that he took you out immediately, saying he wants to go on the first date now.

I feel like he would either be looking down from shyness as you poured your feelings out to him, or he would just be staring at you with shock. once you walk away, before you can even get to the point of running away he caught up to you and slipped his hand into your hand, holding it tightly as he told you how he felt in a rush of words. at this point you’re both equally nervous and shy.

unfortunately for you, he had made many jokes in the past about how much he liked you. so when you confessed, he thought you were just getting revenge. didn’t even notice you were being serious until you left him and didn’t come back. then he realised. the thing is, he has always liked you, but you never really reacted to his ‘fake’ confessions, so he played it off as a joke. it wasn’t until you got home that you received a call. “If this is a joke it’s been going on too long, don’t play with my feelings like this.” “I’m being serious, haechan… it’s okay if you don’t feel the same-“ “I like you too.”

you turn around to leave, saying something along the lines of “I have to go” but he holds your hand and gently tugs you back, until you’re in his arms. he hugs you and looks directly into your eyes as he quietly explains how he feels for you. when you look away in embarrassment, he uses his pointer finger and thumb on your chin to turn your head back to him. very likely that he will kiss you.

you were at his house when you couldn’t hold back anymore, and eventually poured your whole heart out to him. he listened carefully and didn’t say anything, continuing to carefully pat daegal who sat between the two of you. you grew embarrassed by the end of your rant, and stood to your feet, saying “I need to go home now actually so you know what let’s pretend that didn’t happen.”

you rush to the door and put your shoes on, trying to be quick but he grabs your arm before you can even grab the door handle. he pulls you back and turns you around to face him. “I… like you too.”

he would probably just stand there staring in the direction in which you ran away too. he had just been staring at you as you confessed, his eyes wide as you explained your feelings as fast as you could. he would probably try to catch up to you and when he did, he would try to calmly tell you he felt the same (key word : try). you two are stumbling over your words as you talk about it, but it’s all okay in the end because you two decide to go for dinner and talk more about all of this.

she stepped out of the lecture hall, seeing the area outside was crowded by people talking to their friends and some just walking to their next lecture.

she spots her boyfriend and his friends, gathered in a circle, all listening as haechan explained something. she made eye contact with her boyfriend, who smiled at her and put his hand up slightly, a small wave.

she smiled and also waved, before walking away, planning to go home. no words needed to be shared between her and her boyfriend.

“why don’t you guys talk much?” her friend, karina, asks as they fall into the same stepping pattern. slightly startled by her friends sudden presence, she stared at her friend with wide eyes.

she shrugs her shoulder and glances back to where her boyfriend, jaemin, stood. it was normal for them to pass by each other without saying anything, but a simple smile and nod of the head. they didn’t need to talk to understand each other.

“I don’t know, I guess we just don’t need to always be talking?”

“what about outside of school?” karina questions, also looking back to where jaemin and his friends all stood and talked amongst themselves.

“are you my relationship therapist?” she laughs, lightly shoving karina.

“do you need one?” karina jokes, smiling at her friend.

she laughs at her friend and shakes her head. “You know, jaemin and I were friends before we started dating. we are comfortable being able to be away from each other.”

she looks at her friend and smiles, “but to answer your question, we are always messaging each other random things and we go on dates often. we often go to each others house.”

karina smiles at this and puts her arm around her friend, pulling her close.

“maybe, you two are the perfect pair.”

jaemin swung his arm around her shoulder, keeping her close as they walked along the beach. the sun had set awhile ago, and they were still at the beach, indulging in the comfortable atmosphere it held.

they enjoyed the silence between them in moments like this. during the car ride to the beach, they sung along to the music and smiled at each other multiple times. they ate their dinner while talking about their day and she had brought up what karina said.

“she said we don’t talk much.”

Jaemin hummed and nodded, because it really was true. at least, in public it was true.

“She should see how much we talk when we are at home.”

she smiles, “it’s non stop, isn’t it?”

“But I like when it’s silent between us to be honest.” he says, picking up his drink to take a sip. he notices her eyes looking at him with interest, so he continues. “It’s comfortable to know that I don’t have to talk to you. I like knowing that we can be silent while still loving and understanding each other.”

“exactly.”

and now, as they walked along the beach, enjoying the love and understanding they had for each other. he looks at her and grabs her face, gently pulling her closer so he could press his lips to her head, kissing her while she giggled at the action.

she looked up at him when he pulled away, they stared into each others eyes, smirking at each other before she met him half way, kissing his lips.

it was moments like this where they realised how much they loved each other. she could plan a whole future with him starting right now. unknowingly to her jaemin already planned that.

he loved her ever since they were friends, but now? he managed to love her even more.

it was late at night when he finally got back home and walked through the front door. you were sat on the couch, wanting to talk to him about his day since he had messaged you earlier that he wasn’t having a good day. when he saw you still awake, looking his way with a bright smile, he felt like he wanted to cry. everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong. he walked over to you and pulled you into his arms. you wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him tightly as he put his face in your neck. you pulled away slightly, just enough to look at his face.

he smiled and looked down at your lips, feeling a rush of love and affection for you, he realised how badly he wanted to kiss you. noticing his sudden change in demeanour, and sudden fascination with your lips. you grinned and asked, “can we kiss?” instantly he pressed his lips to yours, holding your waist tighter as he kissed you with his whole heart.

you two had been friends for a few years, and had been pining each others practically the whole time. one day, when you came over to his house earlier on the morning of his birthday, you stood by his front door with a gift bag in your hands. you filled a whole birthday card up with words - full of things you never thought you’d say. It wasn’t a confession of your love… but it was at the same time. you could definitely play it off as just simply being a really nice friend if he didn’t realise or didn’t reciprocate.

when he let you in, and opened the card first before even taking the gift bag from your hands. you two stood in his kitchen where he had been in the middle of eating, but the plate remained untouched ever since you got there. as he read the card thoroughly without a word, you looked around the kitchen, feeling too shy to look at him. suddenly he was in front of you, barely centimetres from your face. “this was so fucking sweet… can I kiss you?” you, wide eyed and staring at him, nod. he kisses you so fast, pressing your lips together so roughly at first before he relaxes and kisses you much more gently.

it was so fast. you two were in his bed, cuddling and talking about the movie you just finished watching. you spoke in quiet whispers, so you didn’t disturb the gentle silence of the night. he was sat behind you, with his legs spread and you in between them, leaning your back against his chest. as you spoke he pressed gentle kisses to your temple, before drifting down and pressing kisses to your cheek every now and then.

when you turned around and looked at him, he smiled and leaned in and kissed just beside your lips. it was then that you realised how badly you wanted to kiss him. so you did. you leaned in and within seconds you two were kissing each other in a rush. when you two do pull apart, you are breathing heavily and smiling brightly, going back to kiss each other again once you got your breath back.

you two were blasting music in your bedroom, dancing and singing to your hearts content. you grew tired and sat on the bed, and allowed haechan to take the imaginary show away. he danced for you with all his might, putting in all his effort. but he too grew tired from all the dancing - and laughing - so he walked over and stood in front of you.

you looked up at him from where you sat at the edge of the bed. you spread your legs and he stood in between them, his arms resting on your shoulders. you leaned forward and rested your chin on his stomach and looked up right at him. he giggled and lifted his hands up to your face, gently moving your face away from his stomach. he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your lips without thinking. you happily kissed him back, pulling him down onto the bed with you without breaking the kiss. when you two part for a breather, he rolls over off you and lies on his back, looking up at the ceiling with a goofy smile.

you two had just gotten home from a day out together. both of you weren’t ready to end the night, and you only wanted to stay in each others presence. so while he chose a movie to put on, you ran to the kitchen to grab something for the both of you to eat while you watched the movie. as you searched through the cupboards and stared at the options of snacks, jaemin had set the movie up, ready to press play, and made his way to the kitchen.

his sudden presence behind you went unknown to you until you felt his hands in your waist. You lightly gasped and turned around in surprise. He smiled down at you, grinning as he leaned in a pressed a loving kiss to your forehead. you stood still, staring at him as he continued to look at you, hands never leaving your waist. his smile dropped ever so slightly, almost as though he was nervous as he asked “can I kiss you?” under his breath. you nod, and within seconds his lips were on yours.

you were just playing with daegal when he came up behind you. since you were sitting on the ground, he leaned his knees on you to get your attention. when you turn around, he leaned down and that’s when you realised he had a gummy in his mouth. it was half sticking out and when he came closer to you, you realised he wanted you to bite the gummy off. you laugh and tilt your head away, making him laugh as he stands up straight. “lele if you wanted to kiss me you don’t even have to ask.” you said it as a joke - it was true, he didn’t have to ask, but it was a joke none the less.

you didn’t expect him to lean back down a couple of seconds later, with no gummy in his mouth. he grabbed your face and turned your head to face him directly. he titled his head to the side and kissed you just as quickly. as you kissed him back, you suddenly felt like your hand was getting licked. you start to giggle and shake your hand around trying to move it away from daegal. he breaks the kiss, curious to know why you were giggle, only to see daegal licking up your whole hand. “I kiss daegal wanted to kiss you too.”

you came over to the dorm since you hadn’t seen him in a while. You two weren’t really shy around each other anymore, and you two were really like best friends - and there wasn’t anything that really proved that you were more than that. other than the sweet touches and very common hugs, you two had never even kissed.

but when jisung saw you walk into his room, smiling and immediately telling him about how your day went with such excitement, he knew how much he liked you. he stood to his feet and walked over, causing you to stutter slightly in surprise. you stop talking and just look at him as he lifts his hands up and gently holds your face in them, his hands cupping your cheeks. “can I… kiss you?” not trusting your voice, you merely nod and he leans in, pressing a sweet kiss to your lips.

the car ride to a camping trip ended up becoming more confusing when they realised that they didn’t have enough seats. so someone would have to sit on someone else’s lap.

the car was full, but they didn’t have a choice. she had to sit on someone’s lap. no other car was going to be able to take her to the camping site.

it didn’t really matter, did it? we’re all good friends anyway. that’s what she kept telling herself.

without much thought she walked around to the other side of the car where the bags weren’t being piled onto their laps. opening the car door, she came face to face with jisung who was about to put his bag on his lap. he looked at her, slightly shocked before he asked, “why me?”

she rolled her eyes and got into the car, looking into the back where haechan was playing a game on his phone and renjun was already half asleep by the looks of it.

she looked back at haechan, figuring that he would be more fun. the only problem was nearly everyone in the car knew of her crush on him. though she could handle it as long as they don’t make any comments.

thankfully for her, they only grinned at her when they saw her begin to go to the back of the car.

she climbed over the seat, much to jaemin and jisung’s dislike, considering she did almost kick them in the head.

“I regret saying I’d go with you guys. I should’ve gone in the other car.” she said, once she got her legs down.

“yeah well the other car left before you even woke up. you had no choice.” Jaemin said, turning around to pass her back her phone that fell out of her pocket. she rolled her eyes and snatched it back, to which he just stuck his tongue at her and they both turned away from each other.

she turned her attention to haechan, who was just looking at her with a smirk, already knowing she was going to sit with him.

“sit down.” he said, playfully patting his lap. she sighed, but sat down on his lap never the less. she looked at renjun and noticed he really was already fast asleep.

haechan wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her steady, while he played a random game on his phone in his other hand.

she leaned her back against him, figuring she would need to get comfortable considering it was quite a drive.

once the car started and they begun to head to their destination, haechan leaned his chin on her shoulder, still playing his game in one hand.

her mind begun to wonder about twenty minutes into the trip. she realised that her and haechan had never really ever been affectionate with each other, let alone did they ever really touch each other at all. she glanced back to find him just sitting there, his phone no longer in his hands, but rather sitting under his leg.

she became aware of how both of his arms had wrapped around her waist, loosely hugging her. she smiled to herself and leaned against his body. they readjusted their position and she found her face awfully close to his neck.

it was comfortable to be hugged by him, to be sat in his lap and even though this wasn’t how she expected the car ride to go, she wasn’t opposed to it.

she lifted her hands up, resting one of them stretched across on his collar bone and shoulder. haechan who was looking out the window, then looked down at her.

“comfortable?”

he asked quietly, smiling as she looked up to meet his eyes.

“very.” she says, snuggling herself into his neck more. she breathed in his perfume, pulling back to meet his eyes. “you smell nice.”

he only chuckles quietly, looking back out the window once she leans back down. she became hyper aware of his thumb that was gently caressing her waist.

the car came to a stop and everyone was moving to get out of the car, except haechan who hadn’t even attempted to move.

she sat up straight and looked out the window, still half asleep. she didn’t even realise she was asleep.

“we stopped at a gas station because jisung was complaining how he wanted food.”

“oh.. don’t you want food?” she said, looking back at him. his hands were still on her, one on her waist while the other rested near her knee.

“no, I’m fine. do you want something?”

“… no I ate before.”

“then you can go back to sleep if you want.”

he said, taking his hand off her leg to pat his chest, where she was laying mere seconds.

“I didn’t even mean to fall asleep.”

“you must like me a lot to fall asleep on me.”

she rolled her eyes, and went to lay on him again, hoping he missed how her cheeks had heated up.

he hadn’t missed it. he only grinned and leaned his head back into the headrest, sighing loudly.

“they told me you like me, don’t worry, I like you too.”

she sat up straight, putting distance between the two of them. she stared at him with wide eyes, only to see his face gradually growing an red as well.

“seriously?”

“do I have to prove it?” he laughed, his hand coming back to waist, resting there. when she didn’t reply, he gently pulled her closer, gentle enough that she could move away with little effort, but she didn’t. she leaned closer to him until her hands came to rest on his shoulders, her face mere centimetres from his.

“could I kiss you?”

she bet him to it, being the one to press her lips against his before he could. he smiled happily and kissed her back instantly.

“we leave for five minutes and they’re already kissing.” chenle complains from outside the car. they stop kissing and look to the window where the others had begun walking back, complaining how they didn’t want to see them kiss.

haechan pecks her lips again before sitting them both up straight.
