Hot Take.
Hot take.
If people would stop hating on endos and trying to make them seem like a joke, and instead focused on education and sharing the differences between CDDs and other forms of plurality, then people would stop viewing plurality at large as a joke and claiming anything "cringe" is an "endo thing" when it's obviously not (looking at fictives heavy systems). By attacking plurality of any kind, you are damaging your own chances of acceptance and respect by others.
You pick on endos for having a lot of fictives and people turn around and then fakeclaim CDD systems with fictives.
You complain about endos not suffering or dealing with amnesia, and how this is proof they are faking, and guess what happens? People are going to fakeclaim CDD systems who have low amnesia or have reached functional multiplicity.
The list goes on. You are not helping CDD systems or yourselves when you target endos. The targets don't magically only stick to the people you think deserve them. They end up on everyone, including yourselves.

Honestly my entire reaction to the current political climate and the left’s response on social media to it makes me resigned to Trump winning and I am Over It.
dear USAmericans,
VOTING WORKS!!!
French people showed up, French people voted, turnout was higher today than it has been since 1997, and we kicked the far right to 3rd place
a week ago, the far right was the biggest party in France, we were slated for a far right parliament, prime minister, and government
this week, we voted against them en masse and we won!
VOTING WORKS!
you're up next in November! it's very rare we get to say this, but this one time, take example on the French! show up and vote!
because VOTING WORKS!
happy disability pride month to everyone who is multiply disabled, especially people with both physical and mental conditions!!
most people with disabilities have more than one condition. comorbidities, aka associated co-present illnesses, are common with most physical conditions.
and this includes mental illness! MANY PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES HAVE MENTAL ILLNESSES TOO!
mental health in the physical disability community is so often overlooked or ignored but is SO important!
so if you've got multiple things goin on, and maybe are tired of listing everything off all the time, I LOVE YOU and I NEED you to live, and live as full of a life as you can
I believe we aren't going to see substantial progress in the fight against child abuse until we start viewing children as people group. More specifically, until we stop viewing children as a parent's property, and start listening to their voices in the same way we'd listen to any oppressed class.
I'm sick of dancing around the issue, especially in front of parents who get offended when other people "try to tell them how to parent their kids". You know what, I don't want to make friends with people who think it's okay to treat other people as your property, for any reason.
Children aren't legally allowed to own property, even though they can legally earn money at fourteen.
Children who can cognitively process algebra are allowed to be denied healthcare if their guardian disapproves.
In many states, children are allowed to be intentionally hit if it leaves no substantial harm on their body.
It is considered morally neutral to hate children.
Children constantly have their experiences, perspectives, and worldviews tokenized because "they'll understand when they're older"
In many states, children are not even allowed to choose what name they are called by.
And don't give me the "their brains haven't fully developed yet! They could make bad decisions!"
Listen. Adult people with intellectual disabilities can own property. They can still get healthcare if their nurses or assistants deny them healthcare. You're not allowed to spank someone with an ID or slap them if they do something you don't approve of. If they earn money or other assets, it is legally their own. And I think anyone who unironically claims to hate disabled people will be flagged as an ableist.
The fight for disabled rights is far from over. That's not the point I'm making. The point is that it isn't about whether someone's brain is fully developed.
They don't care about the kids. They care about controlling the kids. They view children as their physical possessions.
