I so wanna see a story where Huntsman and Sandy build a relationship through Sandy teaching the spider demon how to swim.
I want a moment where Sandy gently touch's Huntsman's cheek under water to reassure him it's ok, cause the tough as nails spider is panicking slightly under the waves.
Fuck it ima wrote something.
Anyone who wants to can do the same I shall return with a fic!

âWhat did you say?â
Huntsman physically recoiled from embarrassment âNothing!â he shouted as he started to march away from the pier, the sound of water splashing notified him the other had exited to follow him.
He tried to speed up, facing his feet as they pounded the concrete desperately trying to hide the heat building up on his face.
âWait, wait!â large hands gently stopped his escape âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to embarrass you.â Sandyâs deep voice almost travelled down his arms and rumbled Huntsmanâs entire frame.
Tutting he lamented and turned to face the other âI asked whatâs it like?â he still kept his eyes downcast as Sandy tilted his head to one side.
âI⌠donât understand?â
Huntsman felt his irritation grow and whispered something that Sandy would have missed if he hadnât been listening intently âWhatâs swimming like?â
There was a sudden silence for what felt like hours before the large blue demon burst into uncontrollable grinning, Huntsman would never admit it but he loved watching the big loaf smile like that.
âI could teach youâ the spider started to stutter as Sandy continued âI mean if you wanted?â
Thatâs how Huntsman ended up where he was now, sitting under a large multi coloured parasol sporting a pair of bright purple shorts grumbling quiet curses at the heat of midday.
âHuntsie!â He recoiled at his pet name
âI told you not to call me that!â the water demon simply smiled as he joined the other were he sat.
Now Huntsman had seen Sandy topless, in fact it was rarer to see them fully dressed, however instead of his usual long sweat pants, the demon was wear a familiar pair of tight blood orange swim pants.
They cut off half way up his calf, and fit snugly around his crot-
Huntsman shot his gaze away swallowing thickly, before he was tapped softly.
Sandy offered a bottle of sunscreen to the him, taking it the spider demon squirted a small blob onto his hand âOh, youâll need more then thatâ Sandy had started to massage large globs into his own body taking care to cover each and every inch he could.
Huntsman once again found himself staring at the other, eyes glued as large hands rolled over equally large abdominal muscles, was the sun always this hot.
âHuntsman?â the spider snapped back to reality âYou ok?â
âEh, yeah⌠I just donât have much experience with, sunlightâ he took up the bottle again tripling the amount he had âyou think this is enough?â Sandy nodded once again smiling gleefully at him.
He hastily rubbed the cream over his body, hating the sticky feeling it left behind. He suddenly jumped as Sandy started to rub the same substance along his back, but settled into the sensation.
All too soon the contact ended.
Huntsman spoke softly âdo you need help, with your back?â
âOh, sure thanks little buddy!â the large demon turned around back facing the other.
Huntsman took the bottle and filled his palm, rubbing his hands together before placing them firmly on the others back.
Just as Huntsman thought, Sandyâs muscles were as firm as they looked and it took everything he had not to knead deeply into them.
Heâd forgotten when he started to become infatuated with the other, perhaps it was the day he attacked the other and witnessed a fraction of their strength.
As well as tenderness.
At first it was simple pining, and resulted to him spending as much time as he could with the other, to the point they call each other friends but to Huntsman.
It wasnât enough.
He finished covering Sandyâs back and sat back onto the beaches hot sand, his friend turning to join him starting idle conversation âonce this is dry weâll head out to the water ok?â the spider nodded âYouâre doing great by the way, picked up swimming faster than most adults I knowâ
âYou know many adults who canât swim?â
âYouâd be surprised really, they miss learning as kids and just never get around to itâ Huntsman cocked an eyebrow before replying.
âSo what makes being an adult harder to learn?â
The water demon hummed in thought, thinking about how to put the words into order âI wouldnât say harder, but kids tend to be much more fearless then adults. The thought of drowning doesnât really cross their mindsâ he clicking his fingers then loudly proclaimed âHey I bet thatâs why you picked it up so quickly!â
âYou calling me stupid!?â Sandy flinched raising his hands defensively.
âNo, oh gods no I meant fearless!â the spider laughed suddenly and relief washed over him.
Finally the sunscreen had dried and the two of them walked down to the sore, calm waves lapping over the sand almost sparkling like liquid diamonds.
Huntsman froze at the sight, before shuddering as cool water poured over his feet and toes. Â
He waded further to join Sandy and the lesson began.
Huntsman was rhythmically kicking his feet, twisting his hands in sync âGood, try moving a little fasterâ he followed Sandyâs instruction âthatâs it, keep that pace and youâll stay afloatâ
They had ventured far out enough their feet were no longer supported by the seabed, below was nothing but the inky deaths of the ocean, it freaked Huntsman out a little âWhy are we, swimming out here again?â
Sandy was effortlessly staying afloat not a metre away from the other âAs good as it is to learn in a pool, itâs always handy to get experience in more natural environments.â It made some sense to the spider âThat and Iâm just really excited to show up what swimming in the ocean is like.â If it wasnât for the fact he was struggling to keep his pace Huntsman would have noticed the blush spread over Sandyâs face.
Some time passed with them repeating similar swimming drills, backstrokes then breaststrokes and even floating on their backs, then in a change of tone Sandy spoke as seriously as he could to Huntsman trying not to freak them out.
âOk, now were going to go under?â Huntsman grimaced hearing that.
During all their lessons together this was the one thing Huntsman struggled with, all he could chalk it up to was the sensation of water filling his ears and blocking his vision made all his senses stand up on end.
During the very first lesson Huntsman wigged out completely when he went under and swallowed a good amount of stagnant pool water. Luckily though he was pulled out by Sandyâs massive arms, the rest of the lesson was spent with them apologising over and over to Huntsman often asking if he was sure he wanted to continue with the lessons.
For most that would have been it, but call it stubbornness or unwillingness to give up seeing the other in those swim shorts he refused to quit.
Things got better as Sandy took the time to desensitize him to the water, slowly pouring it over his head to timed dunked clinging onto blue arms tightly.
Now he could go under without panic while holding on to only one of Sandyâs arms, or hands.
So nodding taking hold of Sandyâs wrist he took a deep breath and plunged below the gentle waves.
The motion of the oceans currents ever so slightly pushed and pulled the spider around, he squeezed Sandyâs wrist feeling his nerves build.
How could Sandy see him as fearless, just thinking about how afraid he was in this moment felt more like a joke to Huntsman? Unintentionally he squeezed harder on to Sandy not realizing the pain he sent up their arm.
Then, a touch silenced all those thoughts of doubt and fear.
Sandyâs thumb brushed across Huntsmanâs cheek so tenderly the ocean seemed to still, and as if by instinct the spider opened his eyes ever so slightly.
At first the salt water burned as expected, his vision burry beyond belief with only splotchy shapes before him. Then the stinging slowly faded out, as his sight began to clear to what he could only describe as a heavenly sight formed before him.
The light that managed to break through the waterâs surface glided over near flawless aqua skin, tangerine hair flowed like the waves above them.
Sandyâs face was one he had never seen before, not one of concern, fear or even joy but of calm reassurance and confidence in the other.
Bubbles danced around them, escaping their hair and bodyâs from being trapped on the surface.
Huntsman then made a fatal mistake and opened his mouth to, speak.
Unlike Sandy though the spider needed to be above the water to breathe.
He remembered that as the sudden burn in his lungs became apparent and the gentle bubbles became a flurry of panic as he tasted large amounts of salt.
The next thing he knew he was breaching the surface, Sandy pulling him close to his chest âAre you ok?â he patted Huntsmanâs back as he hacked up water âYou couldâve drown, what were you thinking?!â
Huntsman coughed some more before he answered âI wasnât thinking about drowningâ he lifted himself away from Sandy slightly looking him dead in the eye âI was thinking about kissing you, you big idiotâ
Sandy looked on in shock and Huntsman bravery seemed to falter as his eyes started to dart side to side, as if looking for the others response.
âdamn it, so stupidâ he crumbled, he went to push himself off the other, only to be stopped once again by a large hand cupping his cheek softly guiding his eyes back to his Sandyâs.
âAre you, still thinking about that?â Sandy lowered himself down stopping halfway and knowing what was being asked, Huntsman moved upward his lips colliding with the others. Â Â Â
