Oooh. This is a hard one.

The most impactful lesson I’ve learned from writing would probably be something along of the lines of knowing when to take breaks and it’s ok to ask for help.

When I was working on Mariner May (Pirate Sonadow Prompts for 31 Days of May), I spent so much time on writing the prompts to the point my wrists were sore. Thinking of my own narrative for the prompts was starting to become a chore about the 15th or 20th of May. Asking for my friend’s help and opinions helped me get through a few days where I had intense writer’s block.

In the end; I’d just say remember to take breaks when writing, don’t hurt yourself, and if you need the extra insight, help is always available. Writing FanFiction should be fun and not hurting you, physically or mentally.
