HE NEVER ONCE BLINKED
HE NEVER ONCE BLINKED
"Reconciliation," she said. "Athena and Poseidon together." My face felt a little warm, but I managed a smile. "Thanks."

i feel attacked. this is what's happening rn... ima go back to writing now
How do people not get distracted while writing, I write one paragraph then get distracted and just start scrolling through tumblr or twitter or smt it’s hell I wanna write so bad man
tryna be healthier and i stumbled across this lil protein snack recipe and its super good.
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
tbsp peanut butter
drizzle of honey
(if you have it, which i don't) 1/2 scoop of protein powder
tbsp chocolate chips (for taste lol)
it's perfectly okay if you don't have protein powder because the rest of it is still packed full of protein
rewatching the show and goodNESS. walkers eyes? how does he portray so much emotion with just his eyes?
the music stopped playing when he was fighting the minotaur, showing that there was nothing epic or heroic in his fight? that it was just an angry boy trying to avenge his mother?
they did SO GOOD with this
you do not miss them btw. you miss the version of them you created in your head to which they never lived up to
he's not changing everything nor is he "losing the spirit" of the books. he's changing small things to adapt to THIS day in age, when it is being filmed. back in the early 2000s, when it was written, being blonde was discriminatory. today, being a poc is more relevant than blonde. luke being the blonde- surfer dude jock fit his character as the heartthrob in the early 2000s, today it's the fluffy haired brunette tiktok boy. he's trying to help it fit in todays time AND i see it as he's changing things he didnt get to change with the books. hes doing it how he would write it now. we can see him evolving as a writer and i for one am all here for it.
thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Rick Riordan constantly trashing the movies for not sticking to his books then releasing a show in which he rewrites everything and loses the spirit of the books entirely
