I found this vintage cat plush a couple of days ago on the internet and fell in love with him, so of course I drew him. I ordered one off of eBay and he should be arriving soon, I might post some pictures of him once I get him!! (His name is Midnight, he’s from the brand Applause and was made in 1988, if you were curious.)
He came in the mail the other day, so I thought I’d post some pictures like I had said I’d do. I’m so happy with him.
Here’s him on his own, and him with some salt and pepper shakers that I thought they went nice with him!! I don’t know what to name him yet, he’s supposed to be called Midnight but I might name him something different.
When doing the drawing of him I hadn’t noticed that he actually has a mouth, just it’s very hard to see. He actually has a little smile, which is somewhat visible in this picture. The reference image I had used had a very well hidden mouth, it was a surprise when I had gotten him and noticed it hidden under his fur.

Reblogging this to say that he’s now got a name!! He’s called Punky, named after my old cat Uno’s nickname of the same thing. It was short for “Pumpkin-Eyes”, which my mother called him because of his golden, jack-o’-lantern carving-like eyes. I love him so much and he’s become one of my top favourite stuffed toys of mine. He’s like a good luck charm to me.

I watched this (Veerana, 1988) tonight for my horror-film-a-day October challenge and it rocked my shit. It's an all-gas, no-brakes Shaw Brothers-esque Bollywood horror film. Some of the most fun I've had with a movie in a while. This is what the movies were made for baybeeee.

I'm also waiting for "The Boys" Bluray today, The Amazon delivery guy passed on Friday evening, but I couldn't answer since it was like 9:15 PM and I was in the shower... Talk about an hour for delivering packages haha! Why they're always ringing at the door when we're in the shower or on the toilet???? 🤣🤣🤣

I am not usually into self insert stuff. These kind of things I was interested a long time ago. With what it's connected, I don't know. Maybe because of age or because of a loss of interest. But maybe it will change soon. So I decided to start, of course, with «Treasure Island». Upyr • One of Master's loyal followers. • A strange person. Silent, clumsy, incredulous, naive. Suspicious in appearance. Has no friends. • Upyr - is her nickname. The real name is unknown. • Former alcoholic. Tries to control herself so as not to be eaten by Master. • Always ready to bring the job to the end. Tries to impress her Master by unnecessary actions, from which she suffers. She is forced to do a lot of exercises as a punishment. • Not married. Yeah... Guess who is Master here, ha ha... The reference sheet turned out not so great... My apologies. I hope I'll find more time and strength to make a better one in the future.
