2014 30 Day Art Challenge - Tumblr Posts
So today was supposed to be Day 1 of the 30 Day Art
...I...I couldn't draw anything.
So have this old doodle instead.
An old, off-model character design doodle. Uh.
Hey, day 2 and I actually got something! Well, part of something anyways.
I'll have to finish the picture tomorrow. Until then, just a vague and messy sketch whoo hoo!
Day 3. This is hard...I can only do a sketch at the moment, couldn't even finish what I started before. Oops.
Elliott playing with a tiny robo-dragon. I want to update their designs later...
Day 4 - Should have started earlier, I am so tired. Even if it's unfinished, it seems...pretty okay. Good enough for today.
I feel bad, I haven't finished the other picture, I have to do that tomorrow for suuuuure
Day 5 - Just the beginnings of a design. Slower day, since it's a weekday...what a shame.
Day 6 - This happened. And yes, I am capable of drawing two eyes in one picture. Surprise!
I'll try harder tomorrow.
Day 8- Have some legs?
I...I will need to sort out my schedule better so this doesn't happen again.
Day 9 - Finally, got almost all of the sketch done. This one took a while...Let's pretend this was posted a couple hours ago.
Here's Lan, a mage! White mage, in particular. Healing~
Day 10- Continuing from day 9. Laying down colors to test, redrew a few things, added a thing or two.
I somewhat subscribe to the idea that if I just keep adding things to a design, it gets progressively better looking. That is a dangerous idea.
Day 11 - Would be anatomy practice, if I spent more time practicing and fixing the anatomy. Ha ha...
Day 12 - Uh. This is what happened when I asked someone what to draw. Yup.
Day 13 - Just sketching again...was going to line it, but I didn't pay attention to line consistency, so I stopped. Lesson learned, though~
Day 14 - Portrait of Elliott. I didn't really think about what his outfit is until I did this. It's a mess, that's what it is.
Day 15 - A picture of a character by phoodledoodles. I only wish I could have done better, but as it stands, not now. Maybe someday...
Day 16 - Hm....not sure.
I've been wanting to draw this for a long time, actually.
Day 17 - Doodle of Lan again. It's fun to draw this way~
I didn't finish with the clothing, I got caught up in trying to correct my proportions...
Day 18 - Continuing the last one, changed the face, etc. I added color and now it's starting to get TWEWY-styled. I don't mind that at all...that is, if it were cleaner too. Ha ha...
Day 19 - I couldn't get my drawings to look how I wanted them to, so this happened instead. How frustrating.
Day 20 - Normally, I'd put write something disappointing here, but today, I wholeheartedly mean it. Didn't have time to dedicate to the lack of idea, so I just drew this out of boredom, necessity, and relative simplicity.
But tomorrow is a new day...
