I had the most cursed realization a few days ago that the conflict between Groudon and Kyogre ending in the postgame of my timeline means that the ending can literally be summed up as
I'm still howling with laughter. 🤣🤣🤣
Some of you might be curious, why are the Hoennese people coded as both Indigenous and Jewish? Allow me to explain owo
Jewish people can be anything and Jewish. This comes with the territory of being a people who are all over the world. There are real life communities of Black Jews, Indian Jews, Chinese Jews, Romani Jews--and of course, Indigenous Jews. I know a fair few mixed Native/Jewish people on Twitter, and in Australia, there is also a not insignificant number of mixed Jewish/Aboriginal people. There is also a community of Amazonian Jews in Brazil and Peru that are the descendants of Moroccan Jews intermarrying with Indigenous Brazilians & Peruvians. So there is definitely a lot of real world precedent for fictional groups being Indigenous and Jewish.
In the Pokémon world, the Yumean peoples would be similarly diverse. Not only would Yumeans have mixed with other ethnic groups because their diaspora is so widespread, any other group who enters the Yumean Covenant and agrees to hold their gods accountable is henceforth considered Yumean. The original seven deities with some followers as part of the Covenant were Arceus, Giratina, Palkia, Dialga, Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre, but theoretically this could happen with any god and I might make Yumean groups for other deities later--whose race/ethnicity could be coded as anything at all. This has been your regularly scheduled post with Jewish facts :3333

Throwback Thursday!
This is a picture of ZĂniya's Altaria I drew when I first RPed her back in 2015. I have since embraced Altaria's original design, but since ZĂniya is now from a different universe with Paradox energy flowing through it that makes a lot of PokĂ©mon look more prehistoric, I thought I should bring this energy back. ZĂniya's Altaria looks like this, because this is what Altarias look like in Fallenverse. If anyone wants to give their muse one of these bad babies let me know :33333

"There is a legend from my Alolan culture about the first Solgaleo and Lunala that states that when the sun and moon come together during a solar eclipse, new Cosmogs are born during their union. Every time one of these extraordinary moments occurs I travel to view the eclipse in the path of its totality, and this time my family--" meaning both his blood family and the entire Hoenn crew--"traveled with me. My uncle Archie and I will be going to Alola next to see if we can catch a glimpse of one of these legendary beings."
Yes, Archie is Wallace's uncle. Yes, this is how you all get to find out :3
There was a split between Kanto and Johto that involved one of them declaring independence that I will flesh out when I am not Dying On The Inside because the entirety of my real life is pretty much getting subjected to profound psychological horrors on a weekly if not daily basis
How much responsibility should a Champion have in the matters concerning their region?
(HEY STEVEN)

"This might sound like a surprise to you, considering I'm a Champion, but I don't think we should have all the responsibility. Hoenn actually has a Hoennese Council of Elders that works above the League, and as the League we're actually just one part of the larger governance structure in the Hoennese Peoples' Collective. One huge part of that is that we acknowledge the need to trust local governance structures to do their jobs. I would respect and listen to a village elder just as much as I would respect the Council. When we make decisions, we do so with a strong sense of interconnectedness and community--even in the days of Hoennese royalty like my family we all knew it was a bad idea for the upper levels of governance never to listen to their people. The League's power, the Collective's power and the Elders' power all comes from one thing: the fact we not only work for our people, we work with them--and we are them."
It’s actually quite hard to get a Dragon-type Pokémon to choose you. All Pokémon who are dragons have their difficulties to deal with, especially because they’re keenly aware that cosmically they’re above humans since they're far more intrinsic to the balance of nature and the cosmos--taken from the fact that dragon mythology in real life often depicts dragon-like creatures this way (see: primordial serpent myths). But the ones with the typing itself are the pickiest.
Probably 80% of Trainers outside those with lineages of dragon’s blood such as Draconids, Dragon Tamers and Griseous aren’t chosen by dragons at all, another 15% have only been chosen by one Dragon, and out of all those people, most were chosen in adulthood, definitely not at age 10. If you don’t have dragon’s blood, having even one Dragon type as an adult is something special. Having multiple or getting one before the age of 20 can get you the attention of news outlets all by itself. Even among Dragonbonded peoples with dragon’s blood, dragons of all stripes—while being more willing to befriend those peoples—are selective about who they allow to command them in battle and become their Trainers specifically. It probably also wouldn’t be shocking for people with dragon’s blood to, for example, have a bunch of Dragon friends but the only one they can command in battle is their draconic bondmate (aka the dragon who is spiritually and personally closest to them in their lives).
You don't have to be one of the strongest Trainers in battle for a dragon to consider you worthy, nor is being the strongest the only qualifier for most dragons. Being a strong Trainer is one of the more common reasons why a dragon will choose someone, but a dragon never chooses you for just one thing--there's usually also a moral aspect, such as kindness, respect for nature, or sincere devoutness to religion that dragons choose people for as well. On the flip side of this, there are definitely more amoral or villainous dragons that might join an evil human to gain power in a more malicious way, but even then they might have their own secondary criteria to strength such as shrewdness, ruthlessness, and unwavering commitment to one's goals. One can also win a dragon's loyalty with other things they might enjoy, such as doing a non-battling profession like Coordinating, or working alongside them in a non-battling capacity to achieve something important. Whatever they're choosing with though, they are bound to be extraordinarily selective--even the youngest ones, like a Goomy or a Swablu.
This shouldn’t affect most if not all of my RP partners because most of our muses are OP enough to merit being in the most exceptional 20% or 5% of Trainers who Dragon-type Pokémon would gravitate toward. As for muses that this could affect, I also hope the numbers of Trainers with Dragons are high enough and the criteria broad enough so that in the minority of muses who aren’t supposed to be super exceptionally OP, they could still have multiple Dragons without totally ruining the significance of the hc.
I am not sure if the specific term leftism would exist in Fallenverse, because the idea of the left-right political spectrum happened because of the French Revolution IRL and I am not sure if a similar thing would have happened there. I am also not sure how similar the equivalent of the leftist movement in Fallenverse would be to the one IRL, because the modern leftist movement depends a lot on racial politics, and our world's race politics don't necessarily have to have developed the same in every timeline even if colonial oppression exists--humans have been colonizing long before they justified it with race. But despite the fact they were colonialist, the Antitheoi would have claimed to be leftists.
Here's the thing about colonialism: It's primarily thought of as a right wing thing because right-wingers are most often the perpetrators and apologists for it. And it is predominantly a right wing thing. However, many leftists have participated in colonialism/imperialism and are guilty of espousing colonialist/imperialist thoughts. Such things can range from Twitter tankies wanting to establish a authoritarian communist regime in the United States without any regard for Indigenous sovereignty, to the Soviet Union's historical imperialist policies toward Eastern Europeans, Central Asians and Indigenous Siberians. Leftists such as these can claim they are pro liberation all they want, but they still perpetrate the same systemic oppression that they say they are against. The Antitheoi would be similar.
Even though all their actions would contradict this, the Antitheoi would have an on-the-books policy of acceptance of all marginalized peoples, because they would preach that religion must be eliminated because it is the source of many backward bigoted beliefs. (Saying a group needs to be oppressed because they're all supposedly bigots is a common trope and mostly one used by right-wingers, but I've seen left-wingers use it as well.) No LGBTQ+phobia, no classism, no sexism, no ableism, no speciesm (discrimination against Pokémon), believe rape survivors--all the leftist beliefs. As far as discriminating against people by ethnicity, of course they did since in their crusade to wipe out religion they were inherently discriminating against marginalized ethnicities such as Yumeans who had religions that were important to their identities. But among these marginalized ethnicities (and even marginalized Pokémon species), your background wasn't supposed to matter as long as you disavowed your people's religion and supported the Antitheoi's crusade. If you had any marginalized identity, you could actually get surprisingly far in the leadership with an equally surprising degree of mobility.
Obviously though, none of this actually matters, because the Antitheoi are a genocidal authoritarian cult and simply by virtue of being that they are inherently hostile to marginalized people. Their ranks may have been more diverse than most would think, but having diverse oppressors is not even remotely a solution to oppression. Authoritarianism is inherently bad for all marginalized peoples because it targets those who don't fall in line with violence and therefore cannot claim to protect us from the violence we fear, and it creates an environment that enables people to express their bigotry through this. What's more, it disincentivizes making meaningful structural change that marginalized people need because it is so bent on maintaining its structural violence. All of this is why I believe that authoritarianism and leftism are inherently incompatible. And the Antitheoi's rule would have shown all of these flaws.
Why did I personally make them leftist, you might ask? The main reason is that antitheism and authoritarianism are present in leftist circles and I wanted to call it out. I lean anarchist but am religious, and though many anarchists are non- or anti-religious, there is a history of religious anarchism which you can read. about here. And as someone who loves Judaism, antitheist leftists and authoritarian leftists are no comrades of mine. As I carved out a small space for myself on leftist Twitter I learned of an extreme subsect of leftists that include opposition to all religion as part of their leftism. I created the Antitheoi especially as a contrast to a Christian-coded religion (the Naturists) whose followers I picture as right-wing-esque because I wanted to express that to me there is NO difference, NONE, between a rabid right-wing Christian who wants to eliminate Judaism because Christianity is "superior" and a rabid left-wing antitheist who wants to eliminate Judaism because atheist leftism is "superior." Both of them I view as threats and I will treat both of them accordingly. Thus, I also depict both in my fiction as threats, and even though the Antitheoi caused more damage than the Naturists in the end, I don't treat one or the other as morally superior.

My document of Paradox Humans is here! I'm very proud of this one, so do give it a read owo

Thoughts I had recently that I'm making canon: The Naturists are white-coded, from a European-coded region, and meant to evoke extremist Christianity. However, the Antitheoi are Chinese-coded from a subregion of Shenhua (my Chinese-coded fanregion) and are meant to evoke communist China.

A new page has been added to my Info pages!
This page is Risenverse's Two Halves: Kingsverse and Chosenverse. The most important part of that page is as follows:
Before I had left the Pokémon RPC, my lore was joined at the hip with the lore of Percy/@kingsthunder's Unova. His Unova was the canon Unova of Historyverse, and Percy’s lore and characters were a huge part of many of my muses’ stories that I simply could not picture them without. When creating Risenverse, I couldn’t decide whether to retain this relationship or start fresh, so I split Risenverse into two: Kingsverse and Chosenverse. I wanted to use the fact I was in a whole new setting to have a fresh start, but I am still incredibly attached to everything Percy and I have built together. Kingsverse is the verse with Percy’s Unova in it. It would be my main focus where I got to explore new things while at the same time retaining all the key things I liked about my old lore + character relationships. Chosenverse would be the one where I REALLY hit the reset button and I could do things I thought would be really cool like RPing now-redeemed muses such as my Ursula (from the Pokéani) again in a timeline where her redemption hadn’t happened yet and had the potential not to happen. In this verse, I also had the freedom to make a Unova that was more explicitly based on NYC (though with many liberties taken so as not to create a complete 1:1 with modern American politics).
Hope you enjoy the read and I hope you are all are having a good night :3
The youngest age to compete in many Olympic sports in the regular world has usually been set at age 13. In the Winter Olympics sport of figure skating it was set at 15 and now is 17 following the horrifying events that happened when 15 year old Kamila Valieva tested positive for banned enhancement substances, sparking an international conversation about the abuse and toxicity directed toward figure skating's youngest athletes. In the Pokémon world though, the minimum age for competing in the Olympics is a mere 10 years old, because if this is a universe where kids can be almost independent of their parents and take down whole ass evil teams at that age, why wouldn't the (extremely irresponsible) adults let them compete in the Olympic Games?
There are, of course, horrible consequences following from this, which you'll see when I get around to releasing one of my unreleased muse bios. But unfortunately, it's not going to change until the Pokémon world is truly ready to have a tough conversation about the dangers of adultifying young kids--which won't happen for a while yet.
Hoenn's Indigenous peoples, as non-Westerners and specifically Asians, have different ideas of living at home with one's family than Westerners do. Whereas a lot of IRL white American families make their kids pay rent the moment they turn 18 and all kids are expected to move out eventually, Hoennese families often stay together all the way back to the generation of great- or even great-great-grandparents. (Asians I've seen living with grandparents mostly, but Hoennese peoples are supernaturally long-lived, so they'll congregate in much larger generational chains.)
My Hoenn muses definitely practice this--living all together in the same place--because they're either all found family or related to each other through marriage and they applied these principles accordingly. Asteria and Zinnia are blood sisters and Azalea is Asteria's girlfriend; Brendan and May are blood siblings as well. Asteria is also in-laws with Wallace and Steven due to them being in a polycule with Zinnia. Archie and Maxie, as the oldest ones in the living arrangement and also the two gods present, are the heads of the household, but they're also like uncles--Archie being the cool one and Maxie being the weird one--which is fitting because Wallace is Archie's nephew.
Together, they all share three large homes: one in Ever Grande, one in Sootopolis, and one in the suburbs of Lilycove City. The Ever Grande home is the "work" house, because it is closest to the Pokémon League. In each one, Wallace and Steven share a room, Archie and Maxie share a room, Asteria and Azalea share a room, and Brendan and May share a bunk bed room like when they were kids; everyone else has a separate room. The Sootopolis home is used when they need to carry out spiritual duties, since it is the location of the Cave of Origin. And finally, the Lilycove City home is Contest Central. For Hoennese people, Contests are a huge part of their culture, to the point that everyone in touch with their traditions knows how to do Contests at least passably--and when you've got the likes of Wallace and May in your found family, it's no wonder that Contests are a huge priority!
Pokémon whose Paradox Pokémon Equivalents Survived the Mass Extinction in Fallenverse
GUIDELINES
Poison-, Ghost-, and Steel-types are more likely to survive.
Pokémon based on inanimate objects/nonliving things and synthetic Pokémon such as the Future Paradoxes are more likely to survive.
Pokémon resembling animals and plants that have survived mass extinctions in the past are more likely to survive (turtles, insects, small lizards & snakes, small mammals, any Grass Pokémon of a variant resembling things like magnolias, orchids or ginkgo, etc.)
Pokémon with lore that discusses their hardiness or other traits that would help them survive a mass extinction are more likely to survive.
Apex predators and larger Pokémon are less likely to survive.
Pokémon that level up later in life (ex: at level 40 instead of level 10) are less likely to survive.
Some Pokémon may have NFE forms that are more likely to survive whereas their fully evolved forms are not. These Pokémon will be listed by the highest form they take that survive. If a Pokémon survives only as a NFE, they have evolved (in a biological sense) to not be able to take their fully evolved forms anymore.
Paradox Pokémon who have advanced magic such as equivalents of Gardevoir and Alakazam may survive due to having been liberated after being used as batteries by Rheia, but power does not guarantee survival.
Fitting one of the criteria for survival does not guarantee survival, only makes it more likely. So, some Pokémon may fit one of these categories, but also not be listed as a surviving species.

I figured out how Wallace's Avatar Technique works. Here's a snippet from a Contest Appeal I'm writing with Wallace where the master explains for himself.
“I’ve been told your world doesn’t have what I call the Avatar Technique. Since your resident Wallace didn’t invent it for you, I’d love to explain to you what it is. The Avatar Technique is a training method that allows first-stage evolution Pokémon to adapt to the changes in their bodies much more readily when they evolve during a performance or in battle. In short, they skip the awkward stage where they’re still trying to figure out their new bodies and get straight to doing the difficult techniques we all want to see them do. What happens is that first, a Pokémon–or more than one Pokémon–uses a combination of Future Sight and Psychic to see exactly what a Pokémon’s body will be like after it evolves. Then, moves like Psychic and Hex are used to take those images and create avatars of a Pokémon’s future bodies that they can manipulate with their minds. Psychic is then used to create a mental link between the first-stage Pokémon and its later stage avatar, allowing them to get a feel for doing incredible feats in their new bodies before actually obtaining them…And today, I’ll show you the most incredible feats of all.”
