“ Aemond...Ae—” You ran with your dress dangling around your feet, rushing ahead with your footsteps echoing in the dimly lit hallway.
“ What ? ” Aemond snapped back, his hair whip lashing as he turned back to you, his mouth perched close to disadain.
“ You— why are you like this ? ” You narrowed your gaze at him, he leaned back, straightening up to his full length.
“ Like what ? ” He asked, tapping his feet on the floor, you could have punched him for his nonchalance.
“ Like mean.” You supplied, “ I can't help but notice it, you aren't like..like this Aem, this—” you vaguely gestured the whole of him, “ I don't like this.”
Aemond stopped his tapping, eyeing you, no he was devouring you with the way his intensity deepened, before he cleared his throat.
“ You're mistaken, sister.”
You scoffed on that, crossing your arms against your chest.
“ Are we done ? Because I have things to do.”
“ No.” You said simply.
“ No ? ” He huffed, mouth tightening in a scowl, arching back his brows.
“ Come with me, to my chambers.” you offered, before he could refuse, you held his hand and dragged him face first.
“ I have some—” He was walking behind you, making whiny faces that you no longer had to see to know, you could feel him, he was your brother, your blood, half your soul.
“ No, you are just going to sulk in a corner or indulge in some not so fancy buisness.”
“ you mean the silk street ? ” He suggested and you merely bristled at the mention, it was common amongst men, especially men of court and it shouldn't bother you if your brother is spending time with some whore in exchange for gold. But he's your brother, he belongs to you first and no else.
You shared a womb for seven heaven's sake he was yours first, out of all, his time and company was yours to enjoy. It was your right, always have been.
“ You never learnt how to talk to a lady.”
You turned back to him, as both of you entered your bed chambers.
You settled on the couch with a little ‘oomp’ as he watched you, these days he either watched you or sulked at you and sometimes both.
“ Ofcourse...” He bristled, sitting across from you, “ You already like that stark.”
“ Cregan Stark.” You raised a brow.
Aemond looked away with an eye roll, fiddling with his rings, his slender pretty fingers, you frowned but he took no notice of your concern, sighing you took his hand in yours, calming his nerves down.
“ You don't like him ? ” You meant it as a question but Aemond already looked like he had made a point. He had stopped fiddling, letting you take half his misery—half his pain.
“ I don't need to.” He said, what he felt like a very neutral tone but reeked of malice, “ You are betrothed to him, you like him ! ” He raised his voice in accusation, you couldn't bear that, no, Cregan Stark was an amazing man, a true lord but he's no-one when it came to your brother, your Aemond.
“ But you're my brother, your opinion matters to me.” You leaned, bringing his hand to your lap, fingers entwinng like they were made for each other, because they were —moulded by the old gods and new, ofcourse they would be, He's your blood, your brother, your soulmate.
Something flickered in his eye, the one not covered in his patch, something so close as hope, blazing like fire that ran in his blood.
“If I don't like him then you won't marry him ? ”
You could have laughed, could have hung your head and shaked him because no, ofcourse there was no way out of this marriage, it was your duty towards your family but Aemond was your first family, and if something could make him happy then so be it.
“ I don't think mother will let me see the sun if I denied.” You said, because it was true, He almost winced, “ But I could elope away.”
“ Alone ? ” He asked, now getting cosy as he rested his head on your shoulder, letting his hair prick you on your arm where you cradled his wrist, making small cosmic stars.
“ No Idiot, I was thinking of taking vhagar and you.”
“ Oh.” He said, so sweet that your heart melted, this was your Aemond and not the one who scowled and turned away from you, but this, sweet boy who's your brother, who loves you the most.
“ How far we could go ? ” You asked him, tilting your head to his side, your nose taking his scent.
“ To the world's end.” He said in your shoulder, his voices rippling like waves inside you. You chuckled softly, kissing his forehead.
“ I missed this.” you told him, “ I missed us.”
Aemond pulled back, worrying his jaw but saying nothing, he withdrew his hand to undone the patch on his eye, his blue eye shining at you. You smiled at him.
“ I don't know what I would when you will be gone.” His mouth moved, his lips soft as petals, how many nights you had kissed him goodnight until he stopped coming. Aemond was very soft like his throat would collapse were he any loud.
But you would know him anywhere, just the way his mouth moved or the way he took his breath, you would know him.
“ North isn't so far, is it ? ”
“ It is.” Aemond shaked his head, softening because how could he not, “come here.”
He cupped your face, pulling you closer till your forehead rested against his. You closed your eyes just like him, letting your souls connect in their mist
“ You can come and meet me, we can go around riding vhagar, they say north is beautiful.”
“Just snow.” He hummed, his breath on your cheek, warm and slick.
“I love you.” you whispered, opening your eyes and he was already looking at you, breath drawn in.
“I love you more.” He said, kissing the corner of your mouth, his nose nuzzled in your face for some moments, making the moment stop.
“It's going to be okay.” you smiled, smearing your thumb across his cheek and he pulled you until you were on his lap.
“It will be.” He sniffed in your sweet hair, wrapping his arms around your whole body like he wouldn't let you go and he wouldn't.
You were half his soul, there was no one else you could belong but him, all his, only his.

“Mother, I want to see Aemond.” You saw your reflection in the mirror, the gown was adored with scales and a cloak of fur, a close resemblance to your marriage to Cregan Stark.
“I would see that.” She rubbed her hands on your shoulder, leaning to kiss your head.
“You're the most beautiful bride.”
You tried to smile through your misery.
“Haelena is the most beautiful bride.” You raised your chin, she sniffed through her tears, her throat constricted with words she never managed to say.
“You are doing great, child.” She said, and that was all.
~~~
Everything was getting on your nerves or it was just how wedding days were supposed to be, your skin itched with the furs that tickled your collar bones.
“Martha...fix it.” You tisked when someone moved behind you, it was only a moment before you knew him by scent alone, the way his feet struck the earth.
“Aemond ! ” You jumped back at him and he straightened up like he wasn't just about to ‘boo’ you.
“How did you know ? ” He said, sitting next to you and plucking the furry fabric out that got folded while wearing, releasing you from your torment, like he always did.
“Because I know you.” you told him, sucking in a breath as his finger traced your collar bone, cold against your skin.
“Yes, you do.” He smiled, his jaw hard and eyes glinting like sapphire in moonlight.
You looked away, feeling your insides clench in a sensation that aroused you very much lately.
“I was waiting for you, where were you ?” You said instead, showing forward the bracelet mother gave you with Targaryen sigil, green diamonds circling it's frame.
“Very beautiful.” He brought your hand to his mouth, kissing each knuckle tenderly, looking up and stealing glances from you every time.
“I was actually thinking about your wedding present.” He whispered it low, his voice deep and you frowned, “For me ? ”
He cocked his eyebrow, ofcourse he wasn't going to give Cregan Stark a wedding gift because now that would be ridiculous — He hated Cregan the day your match with him was announced, his loathing only blazed by each day that passed by.
“Ofcourse you, sister.” His mouth tugged at corners, he was admiring you, not surprised because you were always so beautiful, there was this very sad ache in his eyes.
“Then give it to me.” you chirped at him, eyes going wide with the way Aemond flushed.
“I wanted it to be—” He drew closer to you, taking your chin in his hand, “—something you could remember me by.”
You could faint at the intensity, sure Aemond's touch was fire but for the very first time you saw yourself bursting into ashes.
“I wouldn't forget you.” You swallowed, he traced the side of your face, halting at your lips and continued admiring you.
“Shhh.” Aemond hushed, his gaze dropping to your lips as his thumb smeared across your rose tint.
“Something you can carry with you... something that would remind you of me, always.” He whispered, face leaning down and down until his nose was touching yours.
“You will always love me, won't you sister ? ”
He asked it so tenderly, so sweetly that your heart ached, how would you live in the north, despite all the wonders Cregan told you about, it would always be less endearing, less lovely, less yours without him.
“Always, Aemond.” You smiled as his lips pressed on the corner of your mouth, his hands cupping your face and then he pulled back, too soon.
“What happened ? ” You asked him, startled, Aemond grabbed your wrist and brought it to the back of his head and you understood what, you giggled softly, removing his eye patch.
“God, i would miss you so much Aem.” You ran a hand through his hair, soft and silky as you touched them.
“Really ? ” He asked, tilting his head sideways and you nodded, smiling your brightest.
“Very much.” You told him, Aemond took your hand, urging you to follow so you did.
Aemond pulled you towards the mirror, resting his face on your shoulder as he stood behind you, your joined hands crossing your heart.
He teased the crook of your neck with his nose, making you laugh at his mischiefs.
A pause.
“Do you love Cregan ? ”
You looked unsettled at the question, almost shooting him a glare, why would he ask that ?
“I...a wife should love his husband.” You laughed, it was hollow and Aemond's mouth curted.
“That's not what I asked, Do you love him ? ”
“I would happen to.” you would right ? Someday you will happen to love your husband, Haelena and mother and every one does, wouldn't you do just the same ?
You looked away from the reality that was staring back at you, the future that awaited you, duty towards your family.
“Do you love me ? ”
“Yes, I love you.” You said, in a heartbeat, turning back to him and watching how his smile faded to desire.
“I love you so much.” He cupped your face, eyes softening as he pulled you closer to him, grabbing you by your hips and that was okay, He's your brother, half your soul.
“You were telling me about your gift.” You gasped a little, his whole body was pressed against you, heating up.
“I was.” He caressed you, his touch sipping through your bones, mouth clamped, you liked his mouth—soft, warm and sweet, and the way he spoke to you, like honey dripping from his to tongue, your brother, your soul.
“What is it ? ”
“Close you eyes.” He hummed, side glancing at your reflections, so perfect together.
“Okay.” you closed them, He tutted, and you stiffled the smile, finally closing them perfectly blind.
“Good Little bird.”
And your smile was claimed by him, his soft sweet mouth pressing against yours, in slow music that echoed through your body.
“Oh—” You snapped open your eyes, pulling back and touching your lips where his were just few moments ago, his warmth lingering like a tattooed kiss.
“Sister—” He started but you were already kissing him again, pulling him to you by the back of his neck and he was just a starving man.
His mouth was every bit honey that he spoke of, lovely as he was to you, his sweetness melting on your tongue and you were breathless with the way he kissed you.
“I love you.” He muttered breathlessly on the your lips, pulling you to embrace him completely and divinely.
You heard his heartbeats, the heart that grew along with you, with same womb nourishing your veins and plumbing your chambers.
“Aemond, we..we can't..” you saw no reason why you can't, perhaps if times were different it could have been Aemond waiting on the altar for you, a dream so beautiful.
“Do you want me to stop ? ” He was placing soft kisses at the side of your face, keeping his hands off the furs of your gown and instead wrapping around your waist line.
“No.”
He smiled, taking you by your shoulder and helping you sit on your bed, where he had snuggled in countless times, when he couldn't sleep, when he lost his eye and cried with the one that was left, and that one time when he came buzzing after Vhagar chose him, that night you were both looking at the ceiling as if there were stars— but then again, everything was beautiful with him.
Aemond smiled wickedly the way you were glowing crimson, a bride was usually blushing but for their husband-to-be, your hands fisted the silk sheets when his tongue started to work his magic in your mouth.
It wasn't a sin, it wasn't infidelity or cheating, Aemond and you soul were connected and for seven heaven's sake —just the same.
The way he smiled and your heart bloomed, the way he talked and you felt heard, and all those ways he completed you.
“He can never love you like me...” He tore away the fur cloak, kissing your bare skin in a wave of heat.
“Aemond—” But he was far too gone.
His hands were everywhere, grasping your throat and driving your wild with the way he nibbed at your collar bone.
“Aemond...oh dear...” You let your head bliss back into time and space, heart too heavy so you let go.
“I am marking you mine sister.” Aemond purred beside you, his breath teasing the newly purplish mark and you gasped at the angry brusie forming on your neck.
“ Oh god, oh fuck— what have you done ? ”
Aemond smiled, following your gaze in the mirror and basking in his brilliance work, his mouth curved in a smirky pout.
“Cregan can't know Aem ! ” You glared at him, north wasn't common to incest.
“So are you going to make love with him ? ” He turned back to you, almost bored, “ Is that how you love me ? ”
Your face brunt red, aching with the your lips throbbed at the swolleness, you tried to speak but no words came out.
“He'll consummate the marriage someday.” You said, tears spilling through the edges, face crumbling under the sadness of being parted with him.
“ Oh no, sweet love.” He shushed away, standing beside you and pulling your head to his chest, kissing your braided hair softly.
“I just can't see you with him...with anyone who's not me...yes I am jealous but—” His voice broke, “ I want you to know that your heart is mine sister, that your soul belongs to me and mine belongs to you.”
You sniffed as his words hanged heavy in air, his soft sweet nothings were soothing the pain that swirled in your chest.
“ You'll have to sleep with him.” He said, “there's no other choice.”
Aemond then tipped a finger under your chin, raising your face to him — He shaked his head at the tears that ran down the side of your cheek and smeared them away with the pad of his thumb.
“ But you'll have a choice to love, will you make love with me sister ? ”
A small smile broke between the grief and he kissed you down, massaging the back of your neck.
“I will give you something you can always take with you, something small and lovely.”
You looked at the glint in his eye, the same when he was about to do something awfully stupid or brave.
“And what could be better than our child my lovely sister.”
And whatever souls were made of, his and yours were just the same.
A beat, a pause — the mist cleared and you can see him and you, tangled with bodies and soul, with each other's blood and breath lingering like one soul two bodies.
“I want our child to have your eyes.” you blushed, the way Aemond smiled was worth every star.
~~~
“Do you take this man ? ” Aegon asked, you looked at Cregan, he was almost smiling in his big furry cloak and wolfish-ness.
Your eyes flickered to Aemond who was standing by Alicent — your mother was sniffing with her eyes beaming at the sight.
He was looking at you, a smile crossed his lips, a small nod that anyone would've missed but not you, you would know him anywhere.
“ Yes.”
You would take this man, again and again—over and over, after all he's half your soul as the poets said.

“Wait!”
You froze as you heard that familiar low voice call out, a fearful chill running down your spine that made you hesitant to turn back around to face him.
You knew this had all been a mistake, ever since you arrived. As soon as you saw the she-dragon, Vhagar, sitting outside the walls of Storm’s End, you knew that you should’ve hopped back onto your hatchling of a dragon and went back home to Dragonstone. But you couldn’t do that, not when your mother counted on you for your support. You had to see this through.
But the Lord Borros had all but humiliated you, insulting you and your mother, the rightful Queen. And your uncle, the prince, decided that your failure in gaining an ally for your mother wasn’t embarrassing enough. No, he saw this chance for revenge right there in front of him and couldn’t help himself but to take it. So, reluctantly, you turned back to face your uncle to anxiously await whatever he now had in store for you.
Your uncle as always looked at you in something akin to disgust, like you were a bug that needed to be squashed underneath his boot. But there was always a rage right behind that disgust, just below the surface, almost invisible to an untrained eye. Ever since you took his eye all those years ago, you had become well accustomed to his gaze fixed on you whenever you both were in the same vicinity. You hadn’t seen him since that last feast with the late King, clearly still sore and vengeful, insulting you and your brothers calling you bastards. Something was different then, an expression on his face that you couldn’t quite place even when you tried. A look he had given you, especially when you tried fighting back after he pushed your older brother to the floor that night. You had quickly given up trying to understand your uncle, he was too mysterious and aloof to understand.
“Princess Strong.” Prince Aemond spoke with a ghost of a smirk on his lips, keeping his predatory gaze fixed on you as you took a couple steps forward with a scowl. “Did you really think that you could just fly about the realm trying to steal my brother’s throne at no cost?”
You scoffed quietly, your heart hammering in your chest before you spoke your mind foolishly. “The throne was already stolen, my prince,” Usurper, “by your family. If you are looking for a fight, I’m afraid I must decline. I came here as a messenger only.”
Prince Aemond sneered, a growl bubbling in his throat at your insolence, also amused that you think you would last even a second into a fight. You probably wouldn’t even be able to unsheathe your sword in time. “No,” His voice boomed, reaching up and removing his eyepatch, revealing the bright blue sapphire in his empty eye socket. “I want you to put out your eye, as payment for mine.”
You inhaled sharply, your eyes almost immediately glazing over in fear, but you didn’t allow anyone to see it. You held your head up high as your uncle removed his dagger from his sheath, tossing to the floor that slid halfway to where you stood. “One will serve. I would not blind you.” He hummed in amusement at your shocked expression. “I plan to make a gift of it to my mother.”
You looked down at the knife in terror, your hands shaking at the thought of going through with it. You had prayed to the gods every night that this wouldn’t be your penance. You had hoped your guilt and broken nose that night would have been enough. The Queen Alicent had almost had her justice that night as well if it weren’t for your mother protecting you. Maybe this was always meant to happen, maybe this was the gods telling you that it was finally time to pay the price for seriously harming a member of your family. You knew you couldn’t hide from your guilt forever, you knew you couldn’t keep getting away with it. What would happen if you ran away yet again? It would just keep prolonging the inevitable.
“I will have your eye or your life, dear niece.” Aemond growled dangerously.
You took a deep breath as you made your decision, trying to clear your mind as you took the short steps it took to reach the dagger on the concrete flooring. With shaking hands, you picked up the weapon, seeing your fearful expression reflecting back at you through the steel, mocking you. You pressed your fingertip to the pointed edge, gasping as the edge easily pierced through your skin, letting you know just how sharp it was. In theory, it might’ve been relatively easy…
You looked back up at your uncle, eagerly watching your every move in anticipation, his expression almost in shock that you were actually considering it. Growing up, you were taught how to fight, how to build up your pain tolerance, but holding the heavy blade in your hand, you didn’t know if you could actually go through with it by yourself. Before you could think over it any longer, you held the dagger outstretched to prince Aemond, holding the blade part in your hand. “I took your eye, uncle, it would only be fair if…” You shuddered, tears coming to your eyes, “if you were to take mine yourself as well.” You felt like you were going to throw up. You couldn’t believe you were about to allow this to happen.
Aemond’s eye lit up, his sapphire glimmering in the candle light and occasional lighting strike, and you swore you could almost see a smile playing at the corner of his lips.
You fought the urge to step back and run away as your uncle stalked towards you, looking at you as though he could easily devour you whole. You shivered as he took the blade from your hand, his skin very briefly brushing against yours. He looked at the blade for a moment with a small smirk. “Although I would’ve rather been entertained seeing you take your own eye, I imagine this would be more cathartic. As you said, niece, it’s only fair.”
You almost let out a scream as prince Aemond grabbed a hold of your shoulder tightly, pulling you close to him, almost touching your chest to his, his eye looking down at you menacingly, savoring your expression and saving it to memory. “As I am a man of mercy, I will allow you the choice of which eye you would prefer to lose, princess.”
“Whichever may please you, uncle.” You stuttered tearfully, not having the strength to be ashamed of crying in front of him.
“You took my left eye, so I shall take yours as well.”
You took hold of Aemond’s arm that was holding onto your shoulder tightly, the other grabbing onto his thick coat, attempting to brace yourself for the oncoming pain you were going to feel at your uncle’s hand. You must’ve surprised him because he stared down at your hands for a moment before looking back into your eyes, his gaze heavy lidded and almost sultry. You would’ve felt the stiff tent in his pants pressing against you if it weren’t for the coolness of the sharp steel lightly pressing against your cheek.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since that night, dear niece. Forgive me for wanting to savor this as long as I can.” Aemond couldn’t keep in the low groan as he stared at your tearstained face; the whole world falling away and leaving just the two of you together, uncle and niece, enemies, and a debt to be paid.
Aemond’s hand on your shoulder traveled up to hold the side of your face, his thumb gently rubbing away a fallen tear, lifting his dagger up to the corner of your lower lid, licking his lips before pressing in harshly.
As you stared in the face of destiny, there was a moment where you thought you would try your best to hold in your screams, but as soon as you felt the blade press into your eye, all those thoughts went out the window and were crushed by the excruciating pain you were now experiencing. Aemond grinned as you didn’t hold back, screaming and sobbing as he cut into your eye socket, careful and not wanting to completely ruin the eye itself.
Your hands were holding on and digging into Aemond’s coat with a vice grip, unable to control yourself, your body going into fight or flight survival mode and trying its best to get away from the danger. But Aemond was strong, much stronger than you, and it almost seemed like he had no difficulty keeping your head in place to continue mutilating you. It was the most pain you’ve ever felt in your entire life, nothing could compare. Nothing. It was searing, blinding. You couldn’t see anything, even the eye that was still intact wasn’t retaining its vision. You couldn’t even feel anything else. You couldn’t feel the thick, hot blood running down your face. You couldn’t feel Aemond’s hand on your face. You couldn’t feel the rest of your body, your hands were numb and tingling from how hard they were holding on to your uncle. You couldn’t feel Aemond’s hard on that was subtly grinding against you as you screamed and cried. You were thankful you didn’t eat anything before flying to Storm’s End or else it would definitely be coming up.
You heard Aemond let out a prolonged groan then a short breathy laugh as your eye finally came free, slimy blood coating the tiny organ that was cupped gently in his palm. Even when it was over, you felt no relief, all that was left was pure white hot pain. You didn’t even register that you were being held up by your uncle with one hand after the deed was done, your legs entirely gave out from underneath you and you craved the sweet release of death just to be rid of the pain. You weren’t even holding onto Aemond anymore, your arms hanging loosely by your sides.
Only then your vision came back, but now only half of it.
You saw Aemond holding up your left eye in pride, staring at your blood and sweat covered face with an almost impressed expression. “Are…” You tried to speak, but it came out mumbled and shaky, “are you pleased now, u-uncle?”
Prince Aemond smiled. “Oh, my dear niece, more than you could ever know.”

Pain; the first feeling you felt when you woke up. And wind, strong wind. The smell of rain...and dragon.
Your vision was hazy, the left side completely black, void, empty. You could barely see your surroundings. You could sense the clouds passing by, flying through them. You could see a large wingspan on a dragon, so it certainly wasn't yours. What was going on?
Then you heard him, his laugh, and it all came flooding back to you so hard a migraine shot through your skull. You groaned, attempting to reach your hand to your head, only to find it restrained. You tried to speak, but you were quickly shushed. "It's okay, niece, we're almost home." Home...Dragonstone? But before you could ask, you blacked out once again.
Aemond couldn't wait to get you all to himself. After your lovely performance at Storm's End, he decided he couldn't restrain himself any longer. Ever since seeing how you grew up into a fine lady, he decided he had to have you.
Before he would've killed you without hesitation, you were just a bastard after all, would be of little consequence. But he always wanted that moment to be special, in battle perhaps? He thought over and over how he'd do it. He would take both your eyes first, cutting off your head and presenting it to his family on a silver platter, and making your eyes into gifts for his mother. But now, he had much greater plans for you. All that was left was for you to finally wake up.
Aemond perked up immediately after hearing you stir in your sleep, the size of his bed making you look almost as small as a child. Though you, you had no recollection of how you managed to be where you were. It wasn't your bed, your room, it didn't even look like anywhere in Dragonstone. The smell was entirely different as well, you couldn't smell the sea anymore. That pain in your skull was still there, it hadn't dimmed since when you felt it. You wondered if it would ever go away.
The room was warm, a lit fireplace coating the area with orange and yellow hues, only accentuating the already golden walls. Then you finally recognized it, that faint metallic smell mixed with wine and musk. You were in King's Landing.
You tried to sit up in the bed you were in, only for a sharp piercing pain to shoot through your entire body and force you to lay still. The throbbing in your head was almost unbearable, you could hear the thumping in your ears, so loud you almost didn't notice the sound of a chair moving closer to you.
Tears came to your eye as soon as you saw your uncle sitting across from you, a smug smirk on his face as he looked over your weak form. "The worst of it only lasts for about three days. The pain started to dull after that."
You frowned, your throat tightening and trying to keep in a sob threatening to escape. "I did what you wanted, uncle. I gave you an eye. I paid my debt, so why am I here?"
Aemond chuckled darkly. "Yes. Yes, you did. But you owed that debt ever since you took your blade to my eye all those years ago, that was just between us. We're at war now, who would I be if I just allowed a traitor to try and take my brother's throne? You're lucky my brother, the King, didn't execute you as soon as I brought you here. It's what you would've deserved."
You felt an all consuming anger fill you, if you had the strength you would have taken your uncle's remaining eye. "I'm not the one who's a traitor. Prince Aegon is the one who usurped the throne. My mother, the Queen, will have each and every one of your family's heads for this treachery."
"Hmm." He smiled. "We shall see. Until then, you remain our hostage. Let's see how much your mother cares about you more than the throne."
A week. It had been a week of playing hostage for the Greens, no sign of your mother coming to rescue you. No sign of hope. You really should've just left Storm's End as soon as you saw that Aemond was there too, now you were at his mercy. You were treated as though he had brought a stray home, only able to keep it if he was the one to take care of it. It was dehumanizing, you just hoped your dragon was treated better than you.
You could never get a read on Aemond, not even when he was a child. You felt like you were chained to a rabid animal, not knowing if or when he was going to lash out. You felt his anger just beneath the surface of his otherwise calm and collected exterior, only seeing glimpses of what you could be exposed to whenever you talked back to him disrespectfully, his eye lighting up with malice and eagerness that he never expressed but it always chilled you to the bone to see it. It was the same look he gave you when you allowed him to take your eye, a dangerous playfulness that you would never want to explore.
One silver lining was that your uncle was right, the pain from your lost eye dimmed slightly. There were now times in your day when you felt like you wouldn't throw up from the pain anymore. You had your own living quarters, albeit with a many number of locks and bars on the door so you wouldn't escape, like you even could in your state.
It was always a roulette game whenever it came to if Aemond would visit you or not. If not the servants, he would be the one to bring you food. Sometimes he'd just show up unannounced and you were left wondering if it was finally time to die at his hands. You were constantly on edge, almost wishing you could go ahead and die already. Put an end to your suffering and your mother's hesitance on what she should do about you. You just wanted some pin to drop, you hated waiting and wondering what would happen, hated being afraid.
If you appreciated irony in awful situations, you would've thought the gods finally answered your prayers. It was night and you were restless, looking out at King's Landing on your balcony. You longed for your home, you missed your brothers, you missed your mother, you missed riding your dragon. You could faintly hear the calls of your dragon all the way from the Dragonpit, sad mewls that told you he felt the same.
"My brother says if your dragon doesn't quiet down he'll cut off his head and serve it to you."
You scowled as you heard Aemond's voice from behind you, the wind flowing through the tower not able to ever give you chills the way his voice managed to. "Then he'd be a dragon slayer as well as a usurper." You snarked, your knuckles turning pale as you gripped the balcony ledge tightly.
Your body froze as you suddenly felt warmth from behind you, trying to not let a shudder run through you as you felt Aemond's breath on your neck. "You surely are disrespectful for someone who's supposed to be our hostage." He voiced lowly, his tone making you dig your nails into your palms.
"I believe I have every right to be disrespectful to the cunts who kidnapped me." You smirked briefly as you thought how Daemon would be proud of you for saying that, but that smirk quickly got wiped off your face as your uncle turned you around harshly to force you to face him.
"Do you have a death wish, girl?" He seethed, one of his hands coming to gently grip your throat.
"Yes, kill me, uncle. That's what you've always wanted, right? My eye wasn't enough for you, was it? So, do it. Throw me off this tower, feed me to Vhagar, whatever you want. Just let me go. Let the war wage on so my family can kill yours." You spat in his face, just below his remaining eye.
He slowly wiped away the spit, his lips upturned in a sneer, staring down at you like he was actually considering it. You were almost shocked he didn't kill you right then and there, but what did was when he swiftly leaned forward, capturing your lips in a searing kiss. You instantly pushed him away and landed a punch to his jaw, causing him to stumble back with a dark smirk. "No, I wouldn't kill you. Not yet, not until I've had my fun with you."
You didn't understand his meaning, thinking you must've knocked the sense out of hum, until he grabbed you roughly by your wrists, dragging you inside and throwing you on your bed. You tried to scurry away, but he grabbed your leg and yanked you back to him. "No, Aemond, stop-!" You shouted angrily, trying to kick at him, but he was too strong to get away from.
He chuckled, only amused by your resistance. "I've waited so long, I've been patient. Well, I'm finally exhausted of this game, dear niece. I'm going to fuck you, maybe you'll learn to respect me, respect all of us after I'm done with you."
Your eyes widened, your fight or flight instinct kicking in. You tried to flee, but that didn't work, so now you had to fight.
Aemond let out a pained grunt as you kicked him as hard as you could in his stomach, allowing a gap long enough to run to your doors, only to find them locked. "Help!" You screeched as you pound your fists on the wood, hoping and praying that someone would hear you. You screamed as Aemond grabbed you, dragging you back to your bed.
"Okay, that's enough of that." He spoke emotionlessly. You kept trying to fight him, only stopping when you suddenly felt a sharp pain shoot through your skull. He had slapped you, on your left side where your wound was still healing. It made everything turn dark for a brief moment, the ringing in your ears so loud you couldn't hear anything.
The world around you was blurry, the ringing subsiding enough that you could hear the fabric of your nightgown ripping down the center, exposing you to your uncle's view. You watched helplessly as he started to shed his clothing eagerly, his eye memorizing every curve and detail on your body. You started to cry as his cock sprung out of the confines of his trousers, the size only scaring you into thinking that it was going to split you in half. "Aemond...uncle, please." You begged, closing your legs as tightly as you could and covering your chest with your arms.
Aemond only smiled, easily kicking your legs apart and situating himself between them.
"Please, don't. I've never been with anyone, please."
"Oh, I know it, sweet niece. That's why I want to do this now, while you're still pure. Aegon has made his jokes about being the one to take your maidenhead, but I just couldn't have that. You're mine to claim, only mine." You gagged as he thrust his fingers into your mouth, trying to turn your head away. "Spit. Do it, or do you want your first time to be as painful as possible?" You finally relented, coating his fingers with your saliva, watching him bring it down to lube up his cock and your cunt, letting out a whimper as he lined himself up with your entrance.
You let out a loud sob as Aemond pushed into you, filling you to the hilt. The stretch was so painful, you felt like you were going to die. You couldn't imagine why anyone would enjoy something like this. "It hurts, Aemond." You whimpered, trying to push him off you but he wouldn't budge, his cock stayed firmly settled inside you and you wondered if the pain would ever go away.
Aemond let out a groan as your walls clenched around him, watching with an amused smirk as you so desperately tried to expel the painful intrusion. "So tight. You feel better than I could've possibly imagined, sweet niece." You cried out once again as Aemond started to move, pulling back out just to ram himself back in again. You whined out his name, but that only seemed to spur him on further. "This will go a lot easier if you just give in." He took your arms and pinned them into the bed on either side of your head, showing no semblance of mercy as he started to thrust into you.
"Uncle, stop-!" You sobbed, trying to thrash about and fight him as much as you could, feeling your tears fall on one side of your face as the ache in your core reverberated throughout your whole body, a migraine in your head making no sign that it would go away soon.
You flinched as you felt Aemond's warm, wet tongue lick up the side of your face, capturing your tears with a satisfied him. "Are those tears of pleasure or pain, sweetling?" He chuckled sadistically.
"Fuck you!" You screamed, headbutting him and immediately coming to regret it as more pain shot through your head, your vision going blotchy and dark again. Then you kept feeling shocks of pain, again and again as Aemond slapped you, until you felt hot thick liquid travel down the left side of your face. Your bandages were removed and you could feel Aemond's breath on your throbbing wound. You cried loudly as you felt his fingers run around your empty socket, the pain unbearable.
"Why must you make this so difficult for yourself, hm?" Aemond then brought his fingers to your mouth, forcing you to taste the coppery substance as he fucked into you harder, the sounds of your cries and his moans filling the room. "Gods, your cunt feels so heavenly. I never should've waited this long, wouldn't you agree?" He asked, knowing he'd never get an answer.
You were so out of it, the pain subsided slightly only for you to wish you could only feel the pain as you started to cry out from pleasure. You didn't want to feel good, you didn't want to give your uncle the satisfaction, but your body was betraying you. You no longer felt the pain of the stretch in your cunt, you now only felt how Aemond's cockhead kept hitting a place inside you that made your toes curl and your back arch.
Soon enough, the room started to be filled with the sounds of your intimate union. Wet, slapping sounds coming from where Aemond's cock met your cunt, your slick starting to coat your inner thighs and his pelvis. "So wet, dear niece? I always knew you were a whore just like your traitorous mother. Fucks, feels so good." He moaned, leaning down to kiss up your jaw, trailing over every bit of skin until he reached your wound. "Perhaps, if you survive this whole ordeal, we can get you a jewel to replace your eye? Whatever you desire; although, I would prefer to see you with a sapphire."
Just the thought of being forced to match your uncle made you cringe. You never wanted to be anything like him, but it was already too late for that.
The lewd sounds that your body was making, along with Aemond's deep groans made shocks of pleasure shoot through you, much more agreeable than the pain you had only been feeling up to this point. It frightened you how it just kept building and building, like you would explode if it never stopped. But you didn't want it to end, you wanted to chase that feeling to see where it led. You threw your head back against the mattress as Aemond started to lick and nip at your nipples, hardening from the pleasure of his cock. "Finally enjoying yourself, sweet niece?" He growled, biting the skin at the juncture of your neck roughly, causing you to wince but it oddly enough made the pleasure that much more intense.
"Please..." You begged, but you didn't know for what. You wanted him to stop, but you needed him to keep going. "Oh, gods." You moaned, writhing beneath him as he started to play with your clit, soon feeling an overwhelming euphoria wash over you, making you completely forget about the pain.
"Come on, princess. Let go for me." Aemond urged, pinching your clit and thrusting into you as hard as he could until you were spasming beneath him, your legs shaking and high pitched whines escaping your lips. "That's it, that's it." He cooed, kissing all over your face until you came down from your high. "See? All you had to do was relax, don't you feel so much better?" He smiled softly.
Your tears of embarrassment and shame kept rolling down your face as Aemond continued to chase his own high, sitting up on his knees and digging his fingers into your love handles for purchase. If you weren't so pissed off, you would have thought he looked angelic with his silvery hair sticking to his face and his body shining with sweat, but you knew better. He was no angel. He was a dragon, and dragons always took what they wanted with no care or concern for others. You were just another one of his conquests.
He kept using and using you, violently chasing his own peak of pleasure until you were whining with overstimulation. "Fuck, I'm gonna come soon. You want my cum, bastard?" He growled. "Want me to sire you a bastard as well?" He chuckled darkly as you shook your head weakly. "If you think this is the only time I'll be fucking this sweet cunt, you'd be sorely mistaken, niece. I'm going to keep you in this bed, all day and all night. You're going to be swollen with my child eventually, that or you're barren. But we can't have that, can we? Your whore mother might be okay with having bastards, damaging the Targaryen name, but I'm not. I'll have my mother agree to marry us. Maybe that will stop this tedious war on both sides."
You did not like the sound of that. No matter how out of it you were, you'd never agree to marry your sadistic uncle. But he talked like it wasn't up for discussion. "Stop, please." You whined, limp in his arms and unable to fight anymore.
Aemond growled, leaning down to wrap one of his hands around your throat, squeezing until your eyes rolled to the back of your head and you could feel your hammering pulse against his skin. "Mine. All mine." He groaned as his cock twitched inside you, his thrusts becoming uncoordinated and erratic until he suddenly stilled. An uncharacteristic whimpery moan escaped his lips as his seed filled you, his face contorting in an expression of pure bliss that made your insides clench despite yourself.
You finally felt like you could catch your breath as Aemond pulled out, flopping down beside you elegantly, a content smirk on his lips as he glanced at your numb, tearstained face. "Don't warry, niece, it only gets better from here. I suggest you learn to accept it, because I am never—never letting you go."

part one | part two
You had never felt more hopeless in your entire life.
You had been pretty resilient throughout your time at King’s Landing, but it slowly dwindled the longer you were forced to stay.
The Greens chipped away at your strength piece by piece until there was barely anything left. You had been forced to stay in your designated chambers, no one allowed in or out besides the maids and guards. You couldn’t count how long it had been since you had seen a friendly face. You were completely alone. You hadn’t even seen your uncle since that night he forced himself on you, you wondered if he got punished for it. Probably not. You hated that you started to actually miss him.
You just wanted to talk to somebody, anybody. You couldn’t just keep staying at the walls all day every day. You even started to wonder how badly it would hurt to throw yourself off your balcony. Would you die before you even hit the ground? Or worse, would you survive the fall?
You had woken up from a nightmare in a cold sweat one morning, shivering and aching all over. You didn’t get out of bed until your mouth started flooding with saliva, a sinking feeling washing over you as you felt your stomach lurch. You barely made it to your chamber pot before emptying the contents of your stomach, bile burning the back of your throat and tears streaming down your face. Spots blurred your vision as you slumped against the wall, leaning your head back as you closed your eye. You tried not to wince as your abdomen tensed painfully, another wave of nausea washing over you. You felt like you had been hit by a dragon, aches and pains all over your body including your empty eye socket. Perhaps the Stranger was finally coming to take you away? Would you be okay with that? Is death really better than being imprisoned?
Unfortunately, you weren’t able to find out. One of the maids that made your baths came in as you started to fall unconscious, but that darkness never took you as she slashed some cold water on your face, making you gasp awake. “You are burning up, my Lady.” The maid spoke softly. “Oh dear, you’ve vomited.”
“Clearly.” You mumbled incoherently.
“How long since you’ve last bled, my Lady?”
Your heart threatened to beat out of your chest for a moment, the thought immediately making you panic. But it hadn’t been that long ago. Sure, it was before Aemond had taken your virginity, but that didn’t automatically mean his seed had taken. “Almost two weeks ago.”
“I shall call for the maester.” The maid helped you to your bed, propping you up onto your pillows and leaving promptly.
No, you weren’t pregnant. You would know, wouldn’t you? Surely, women have a sort of sixth sense about that kind of stuff, right? You could only wait for the maester to tell you. But what would happen if you actually were? Would Alicent marry you and Aemond? The thought sent a shiver down your spine.
A gentle breeze blew in from the balcony. You often kept the doors open as the cool night air helped you fall asleep faster. The idea of escaping this life got more and more appealing as you kept thinking about what would happen if you were carrying a babe. A life such as this is no place to raise a baby, especially not with an enemy of your mother. You made your decision.
You cried out as you stood up from your bed, limping your way to your balcony with wobbly feet. You accidentally hit the wall on your left side, still having great difficulty adjusting to your new eyesight. But it would not matter soon enough. With shaking hands, you held onto the railing of your balcony, looking down on all your mother’s subjects. The sun was barely peeking out from the horizon, casting the kingdom in a light orange glow. King’s Landing was beautiful, truly. It would’ve made a nice home had your mother’s crown hadn’t been stolen. You could imagine your family’s dragons flying freely over the rooftops and towers of the Red Keep, your brothers smiling and laughing with each other, your parents ruling peacefully. Yeah, it would’ve been amazing.
You let out a sob as you heard your dragon’s roars pierce through the air, feeling your sorrow and despair like it was their own. You hoped nothing bad would happen to your dragon. Perhaps they’d get a new rider after you were gone. Maybe the Greens would set them free, let the creature grieve in peace away from the war. Doubtful. The thought almost made you back away from the rail, but you couldn’t handle it anymore. All your life you had been selfless, this one moment would be one of the only times you could allow yourself to be selfish. It would make things easier for your mother. Without the threat of you being killed by the Greens, she could finally torch everyone inside the Red Keep with her dragons.
You struggled to make it up on the railing, but you managed it. You breathed heavily as you looked down, the people below looking as small as ants. You would be okay, you decided. It was a long way down, you would be dead on impact. You smiled weakly as you thought it might feel like you were flying one last time. If not a dragonrider’s death, this would have to do.
You took one final deep breath before stepping off the ledge, expecting to feel the weightlessness of freefall, only it never came.
You were suddenly pulled back violently, falling to the floor of the balcony, your back hitting something hard, but it wasn’t the concrete. You struggled against whoever thwarted your attempt to take your own life, until you saw the briefest flash of long white hair, grazing past your face lightly. “Let me go!” You growled.
“I meant it when I said I’d never let you go.” Aemond spoke quietly, holding you in his arms as tightly as he could without hurting you. “Or did you not remember?” Oh, you remembered alright, how could you not? “I must say, I am quite disappointed that you’d try to leave like this. To kill yourself and possibly our unborn child?” He clicked his tongue in disapproval, but there was an undertone in his voice that made it seem like he was actually upset.
“I’m not pregnant.” You snapped as sharply as you could, feeling your body begging you to give up and give out.
“The maester will be the judge of that. He’s on his way. I’ll make sure you stay alive until then, dear niece.”
Yet again, you were taken back to your bed, your uncle sitting in a chair next to the bed and watching you like a hawk. It was unnerving, to say the least. You kept looking up at the ceiling as sweat kept beading on your forehead, the pain in your abdomen forcing tears in your eye that cascaded down the side of your face. You’ve never missed your mother more. All you wanted was her by your side, to hear her call you her sweet girl one more time, to feel her kiss your forehead in that motherly way only she could. You whimpered as you tried to hold back a sob, curling your fingers into your palm tightly, trying to think of anything else but home.
You flinched as Aemond took your hand, unballing your fist and simply holding it gently, occasionally running his thumb over your knuckles. “Don’t worry, the maester’s due any minute now.” It was so unlike him, to be somewhat reassuring and nice. Did seeing you in utter agony finally thaw his ice cold heart?
“Please, let me go…” You whispered weakly, your voice breaking pitifully.
“No.” He answered.
“What will happen if I am with child, Aemond? I’m sure your mother won’t be too happy about that. She’ll probably kill me herself.” You winced as he squeezed your hand tightly in warning, glaring at you before sighing.
“Do you really think her to be that cruel?”
“You have to get in from somewhere, right?” You gasped as he ripped his hand from yours roughly, standing up to pace with his arms behind his back.
“Must you be so stubborn? I am here trying to be nice and you’re behaving like an ungrateful wretch.” He ranted, his voice threatening to rise but never doing so. He was always skilled at keeping his composure, but you could see how his body tensed and every minute microexpression gave way how much he desired to shout at you.
You scoffed. “I’m sorry if I’m having difficulty letting my guard down in front of my kidnapper.”
“Believe it or not, you are much safer here than you’d ever be at Dragonstone.”
“I don’t care how safe I might be here, I want to go home. I want to be with my family.”
“You are with your family.”
“You don’t treat your family with such hostility. You don’t force your family to take out their own eye. You don’t take away your family’s birthright when it wasn’t theirs to take.”
Aemond chuckled darkly. “You’re one to talk, niece. You took my eye over an insult.”
“You were going to kill my brother.”
“You know I never would have gone through with it. I was a child.”
“And so was I.”
“And then your mother wanted me tortured after you maimed me. My own sister. And don’t tell me she said I was to be sharply questioned. What do you suppose that means, hm? You know, she never once treated me like her own flesh and blood. Nor Aegon, or even Helaena. She never treated us like we were her family. We were always just Alicent’s children. That’s all. Do you think we never wanted a relationship with our own sister? All this was Rhaenyra’s doing, you’d be a fool to not see that. You hold her up on a pedestal, you think she can do no wrong.” Aemond sighed, shaking his head. “If we really were her family, this never would have happened in the first place.”
You wanted to continue the conversation, so badly, but your body simply did not allow it. You let out a soft groan as your throbbing head lolled back, hitting the soft pillows beneath you. You felt like you were going to throw up again, but nothing came up. It didn’t take but a moment until Aemond was back beside you, feeling your forehead with the back of his hand. You heard the doors to your chambers open, the sound of voices and footsteps growing distant until you blacked out.
Aemond hated how worried he was. He wanted to stop his feet from forcing him to pace back and forth outside your doors, the maester inside working to figure out what was happening to you.
You had shown symptoms of being pregnant, but what if it was something else? Would that be better or worse? Alicent had reprimanded him so harshly for bringing you to King’s Landing, Aemond didn’t even know if she would agree to marry them. So if you were with child, it would be a bastard, just like you.
Aemond growled in frustration as the maester took his sweet time in your quarters, then flinching slightly when his mother appeared in front of him. “How is she?” Alicent asked, her voice barely above a whisper, like she feared she’d distract the maester if she spoke any louder even though he was on the other side of a door.
“She was burning up, passed out as soon as the maester arrived.”
Aemond tried not to look worried, more inconvenienced, but Alicent’s motherly instincts, what little she had, could tell he was more upset that he led on. “I’m sure she’ll be alright.” She smiled reassuringly.
Aemond hummed. “Her mother wouldn’t be too pleased if she dies in our care, surely. Has she written back with an answer yet?”
Alicent shook her head. “No. But I know her. She would do anything to protect her children, so I’m hopeful.” They each turned their attention to the maester who exited your room. “What news?”
“I’m afraid the flesh around her eye is infected. We will need to cut away the infected flesh and keep her under our watch around the clock to make sure it doesn’t get infected again. I am hopeful that she will be okay, but we need to get her to surgery immediately.”
“Of course, maester. Do whatever you need to do.”
The surgery was long and tedious, but you made it out okay. The Queen mother had maids rotate out every few hours to keep watch on you, the maester visiting every several hours to check on your bandages and making sure to keep the wound clean. You were asleep all the while, constantly being given milk of the poppy to keep you under and pain free. Not that you’d ever know, but you were in the prayers of Alicent and Helaena, despite being the daughter of the enemy. Aegon couldn’t care less, he thought it was idiotic to keep you alive. But Aemond, he was never seen far from your chambers. He’d visit to see how you were fairing every so often, but he never stayed very long. It wasn’t until the third day of recovery that he stayed in your room more often.
Being addled on milk of the poppy, you had no clue what was going on around you. It was hard to care either way. But sometimes you’d wake up in the middle of the night and you would see Aemond sitting in a chair near the fireplace, reading a book and simply just staring into the flames, then you’d pass out yet again. It became a comfort of sorts to find Aemond in your room, you’d rather it be him than anyone else. Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t, but you slowly started to not see him as a devil. After that conversation you had with him before your surgery, you started to feel bad for him, despite him being the reason you only had one eye now. Although, now that you knew what it was like, it had made you understand him and his motivations a bit more.
After a couple more days, you were starting to be weaned off milk of the poppy. Your head ached and your wound throbbed, but you were glad you were conscious again. But the more conscious you became, the less you saw of Aemond. You were surprised that you actually felt sad by that. This man had kidnapped and violated you, you should’ve been happy to have some space from him. Now you just felt lonely again. You were back to only seeing your maids faces, now the maester every other day. But you were now able to get up and walk around, as long as you didn’t push yourself. You couldn’t even if you wanted to, but now your balcony doors were barred. Aemond must’ve told everyone what had happened, the thought embarrassed you more than it should have.
You were trying to unbar the balcony doors one night, not to jump this time, but you missed the breeze. But you were stopped when your doors opened loudly, causing you to jump and turn around to see… “Aegon?”
“Niece!” The usurper king grinned. “So glad to see you’re up and about, you look healthier than ever. You gave us all a fright you did.”
“You’re drunk, what a surprise.”
“Hey, you’d be drunk all the time if you had to be king too, or, er, queen.”
You rolled your eye, crossing your arms to protect your modesty. “What are you doing here, Aegon?”
“King.” He corrected.
“Not to me.” You snapped, making him frown and send a glare your way.
“Disrespectful cunt.” He mumbled, stumbling towards a chair and taking a seat rather ungracefully.
You probably should’ve been extra cautious around Aegon, even more so since he was drunk, but you had a hard time being afraid when he looked so pitiful. You stepped towards him, kneeling down beside him with the most condescending expression you could muster. “Maybe I’d have more respect if you weren’t a drunken entitled man child that steals his own sister’s throne. You will be a worse king than Maegor the Cruel.”
Despite Aegon being completely wasted, he grabbed a hold of your neck like he was sober, standing up and forcing you up with him, the tightness around your neck making your head spin. “How dare you speak to your king that way?” He spat, his other hand slapping your face and squishing your jaw. “You wish to know true cruelty? Perhaps I shall bring you to my chambers tonight? One night with me and you’ll be on your knees praying that the Stranger comes and takes you away. Or would you enjoy that? Your mother is a whore, maybe the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? I’ve always wondered what you’d feel like around my cock. I’ve talked to my brother about it, I thought he’d be man enough to come take your maidenhead. But you’re quivering like a leaf right now, maybe I was wrong. I guess my brother is still that little boy who couldn’t stand up for himself. No matter. Your king will take you. You should be honored.”
You quickly bit Aegon’s hand as hard as you could, hearing him let out a satisfying yelp, feeling his harsh grip on you release enough so that you could push him away. “You’re vile!” You yelled, keeping a chair in between you and the drunken man.
Aegon laughed, running his hands through his greasy hair. “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you…much. Hey, how about this, I’ll forgive your treachery and let you live if you let me take your virginity?”
“Aemond already took it, you fool.” You scowled.
“Oh!” He grinned darkly. “How about that? Guess I don’t have to be gentle with you after all.”
“No, no!” You screamed as Aegon kicked the chair away from you, grabbing you and dragging you to your bed, although with a bit of a struggle due to his drunken state. “Let me go, you lecherous perv!”
Aegon’s mischievous smile quickly dropped as he felt cool steel be placed at the juncture of his neck, the metal already lightly scraping his skin and forcing blood to trickle down his skin. “You heard her. Let her go.” You let out a quiet sigh of relief as Aemond came into view, his dark eye burning into the back of Aegon’s head.
“Brother, you know I could have your head for this?” Aegon growled.
“Not much a king can do if he’s dead.” He said as he pressed the dagger against his skin with more pressure, causing Aegon to hiss in pain as his skin sliced open easily. He rolled his eyes as he let you go, pushing you off of him and onto the bed, Aemond quickly pulling his brother to him.
“I heard you took her maidenhead. I didn’t think you had it in you, brother.” Aegon smirked, even with the dagger to his throat.
“I will only say this once so you would do well to listen, brother. She is mine. Not yours, not anyone else’s. Mine, and only mine. Understand?” Aemond spoke lowly, his eye seemingly staring into Aegon’s soul.
Aegon frowned in annoyance as he held up his hands in surrender. “Fine. She’s all yours.” But Aemond kept his blade out and pointed at his brother until he was completely out the door, only sheathing it when the doors closed.
“Are you alright?” Aemond spoke, his back facing you.
You resisted the urge to ask why he suddenly cared. “Yes…thank you.”
He hummed. “I’ll be right outside your door tonight. Just in case he comes back.”
“You…” You hesitated, completely sure that this was a bad idea, but you couldn’t stop yourself. “You don’t have to. You can stay in here…if you’d like.” You cringed at how awkward you must’ve sounded, but if you did Aemond didn’t notice or care.
“How’s your eye?” He asked as he took a seat in one of your chairs, crossing his legs and making himself comfortable.
“Fine, it doesn't hurt anymore thankfully.” He nodded. The silence was deafening, and you didn’t know if you could handle it all night. But you didn’t know if that’s what he preferred. “Did I worry you much?” You joked, although it came out more serious than you intended. He didn’t look amused. You looked down to hide your frown, picking at your nails with a sigh. “Has there been any word from my mother?”
“No.” He responded curtly.
“What you told me the other night…I didn’t know any of that, how my mother treated you. I knew she didn’t have the best relationships with you all, or any at all. But I never thought she disliked any of you. She never spoke ill of you, she rarely spoke of you at all, so I guess I just assumed that nothing was wrong.” You shrugged. “She’s always been so loving, not just to me and my brothers, but everyone I’ve seen her interact with. You were right…I put her on a pedestal. I couldn’t see her faults. I’m…I’m sorry she treated you all that way. Siblings are supposed to look out for each other.”
Aemond’s expression was unreadable, like it often was. You looked away before you could embarrass yourself further.
“You shouldn’t apologize for the sins of your mother. Like I said before, it was her own doing. But now, she has the opportunity to make things right.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” But Aemond only shook his head. You decided not to push him further. “Did you hope that I’d get pregnant?”
Aemond seemed shocked by your blunt question, but shrugged with a frown. “It would’ve made things easier perhaps. It would’ve forced my mother to marry us, and give Rhaenyra more incentive to bend the knee.”
You chuckled bitterly, shaking your head. “Do you want to marry me that badly?” You joked.
“Would it be so terrible?” He asked seriously, forcing you to actually think about it. “Or do you truly want your mother to kill us all? Do you want this war to happen?”
“No…of course not. I never wanted this to happen.” You exhaled shakily, finding it hard to relax under Aemond’s intense gaze. “If there’s even a chance anything could stop this war without bloodshed, I would do it.”
“Truly anything?”
You had a feeling where he was leading with that question, but you took the bait anyway. “Yes. Anything.” You tensed as Aemond lifted himself off his chair, taking a seat on the bed right beside you, his body heat radiating off of him and enveloping you. Goosebumps rose all over your body as he caressed the side of your face with the back of his hand, his eye gazing into yours. “Aemond-”
“Marry me.” He cupped your jaw, keeping you facing him. “You said you’d do anything. Your mother might give up if you agree. So, marry me, be my wife.”
“And if she doesn’t bend the knee?” You whispered.
“She will if she truly cares for you. Will you risk it?”
You took a deep breath, leaning forward to seal your fate with a kiss. “Yes. I’ll marry you…”
Aemond grinned before capturing your lips in another kiss, feeling his neediness and longing through him. You felt like a traitor yourself as you gave in to him, allowing yourself to want and need. Your mother would be so disappointed in you, but you truly thought it would be best for the kingdom and your family. You wondered if she’d actually bend the knee, or would she call you a traitor as well? You tried not to dwell on it. All you wanted right now was Aemond, to feel him all over your body, to feel him at the apex of your thighs that was already throbbing with desire.
You didn’t realize you were crying until Aemond pulled away with furrowed brows, wiping away your fallen tears with his thumb. “It’ll be okay.” He whispered, turning you on your back, settling himself in between your legs, keeping one arm propped up so he wouldn’t crush you. But that’s exactly what you wanted.
Aemond let out a noise of surprise when you pulled him down on you, his body completely covering you. Your heavy breaths mixed with each other, your kisses getting sloppy and rough. It wasn’t enough. Even when you had removed each other’s clothes, you still didn’t feel close enough.
You pushed Aemond’s head down your body, sighing heavily as he trailed kisses down your torso until he reached your pelvis, looking up at you hungrily through a heavy lidded eye. “Shall I taste you, princess?” He teased with a smile, spreading your legs as far as they could go and planting sloppy kisses on your inner thighs.
“Please, my prince.”
You whined as Aemond licked up your folds, gathering the wetness that had already pooled at your entrance. He took his time, slowly running his tongue through your slit over and over until you huffed with desperation. “You taste divine. I should’ve done this before. What a fool I was.” You moaned as he whirled the tip of his tongue in circles around your clit, gripping your hips to keep you from bucking against his mouth.
“Seven hells…” You gasped as he closed his lips around your sensitive nub to suckle on it while slowly pushing one of his fingers inside you, curling the digit rhythmically. “Aemond, fuck!” What a fucking traitor you were, delighting in the feeling of the enemy. But you couldn’t help it, the way he so expertly pleased you, being a traitor never felt so good.
Soon enough, Aemond added another finger, stretching you out preemptively, the lewd squelching sound coming from your cunt making your cheeks heat up like you had just stuck your face in an oven. But it was so erotic, even Aemond moaned at the sound, the vibration from his lips making you squeal softly. Though, it ended far too early in your opinion. You watched with parted lips as he came up for air, licking his slick coated lips with a smirk, crawling back up to kiss you hungrily.
You could feel his heavy cock poke at your entrance, making you clench in anticipation. Aemond didn’t even have to guide himself, he just slowly sank into you, both of you letting out loud gasps. He kept eye contact with you as he pushed in inch by inch, kissing all over your face whenever you winced or let out a soft cry, shushing you and trying to get you to relax around him. Even with foreplay, you didn’t know if you would ever get used to his size. But you were thankful he helped you adjust unlike last time. This time, he was sweet and attentive. You wondered where that side of him came from.
“Fuck…” Aemond groaned, finally bottoming out and stilling inside you. “You feel just as heavenly as the first time we lay together, beautiful.” You whimpered as the praise went straight to your core, making him hiss as you pulsed around him. “You can’t do that to me, princess. I want to take my time with you tonight.”
You let out a silent gasp as Aemond thrusted a couple times shallowly, trying to maintain his composure and be as gentle as possible until he settled into a slow but deep pace. You felt so full, his intense eye contact sending a shiver down your spine while the tip of his cock brushed up against that sweet spot inside you. He forced his arms underneath you, pulling you as close to him as possible, holding your back and pressing his chest against yours, like a horizontal hug. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he buried his head in the crook of your neck, pulling him deeper as he placed soft kisses on your skin, then turning his head to face you and kissing your cheek.
Feeling his breaths fanning across the side of your face, you turned your head to look at him, unable to restrain yourself from kissing him. You moaned wantonly as he sped up his thrusts slightly, angling his hips so he could hit that spot inside you over and over again. It was so intimate, the close proximity and sensuality of it all. Too much and not enough, but you gave all control over to Aemond. You didn’t trust him, it would take a long time for you to be able to trust him, but something told you he wouldn’t hurt you, not again.
You felt your orgasm build up gradually, each thrust of Aemond’s hips bringing you closer and closer to the edge, but you both didn’t rush, he wasn’t allowing that. But it almost made it better. You weren’t foolish enough to call it romantic, nothing about you and Aemond’s relationship was romantic, not yet at least; but in different circumstances, you could say this was romantic love making. The way he was looking at you made butterflies swirl in your stomach, like you were the only woman in King’s Landing. You hated how special it made you feel.
Your heavy panting echoed throughout the room as Aemond lifted himself up to reach down between the two of you to rub your clit slowly, kissing you languidly and swallowing every single one of your moans. “That’s it…” He moaned. “Come for me, princess.” It didn’t take any more encouragement, you were already so close, able to obey him immediately. Your orgasm wasn’t overpowering; it was slow and gentle much like Aemond’s thrusts and fingers, but it still raised goosebumps all over your body and hardened your nipples as it washed over you, a soft whimper escaping your lips.
Aemond kept up that slow and deep pace, sucking and biting each of your nipples, eliciting an overstimulated whine from you. “My pretty girl…my beautiful girl.” He whispered, kissing your forehead as he sped up his thrusts, grabbing your wrists and pinning them beside your head. “Mine…mine.” You let out a cry as he rutted against you faster and faster, jolting your body with each thrust, but he silenced you by kissing you, keeping his lips pressed against yours until his thrusts become sloppy and erratic. Aemond let out a low groan as he stilled inside you, his eye rolled to the back of his head as he coated your walls with his cum. He collapsed on top of you with heavy panting breaths, kissing along your collarbone as he came down from his high. “Are you okay?” He asked softly.
“Yes, Aemond. That was…lovely.” You smiled in exhaustion, quietly giggling to yourself as he rolled off you and laid down against the bed dramatically. “Will you stay this time?”
“If you wish.”
“I do.”
“Then here I’ll remain.”
It was hard to keep you and Aemond apart after that night. He was more gentle and protective over you. It took some time getting used to his affection, but there came a point when you didn’t think about how you had to be with him out of duty, like you were just a pawn in this war game. You started to enjoy his company. It didn’t take much convincing to get Alicent to agree to marry you to Aemond, seeing his infatuation for you and how it might turn the tide in their favor.
You had to send a letter to your mother about your betrothal to your uncle, which terrified you. The word traitor echoing in your mind over and over again. You knew Daemon would not take it well, knowing him. But you prayed to the Seven that your mother would call off the war, for the sake of your family and the whole kingdom.
You almost couldn’t believe it when Aemond came to you with a huge grin on his face, informing you that your mother had bent the knee for the sake of the realm, accepting Aegon’s terms if only she could attend your wedding. She did not want to rule over ash and bone, she wouldn’t be a good ruler if she went to war, knowing there would be a limitless amount of casualties if she went through with going to war. She just wanted to see her daughter again.
A wave of relief washed over the entire Red Keep at the news, Alicent seeming even more overjoyed than you were.
The wedding would take place in a few days. You were excited for more than a few reasons. You would see your family again, Alicent having them come over by ship. And when you were a little girl, you always dreamed of having one of those fairytale weddings like most. It would be drastically different, but it excited you nonetheless. Aemond seemed to feel the same, relieved and overjoyed, but he only showed it when he was alone with you.
You finally felt at ease, like everything was going to work out.
Then came the night before the wedding, you felt the nerves flowing through your body. It had just now hit you that you were going to be marrying Aemond, in front of hundreds of people including your family. You weren’t one to get stage fright, but Seven Hells, you were frightened.
A knock on your door cut your thoughts short, calling out for whoever to enter your chambers. You relaxed when it was only Aemond, silently entering your room with a small smile. “I thought the groom wasn’t supposed to see the bride the night before the wedding.” You teased.
“I’m not superstitious.”
“No, you wouldn’t be. But, why have you come?”
“I have a gift for you. A wedding present.”
“Before the actual wedding?”
“Yes.” He chuckled, motioning for you to take a seat on the end of your bed. You waited with bated breath as he pulled out a small box, handing it to you tentatively. “Go on, open it.”
You carefully opened the little box, gasping at the contents inside. “Aemond…” You whispered, you looked at him in shock. It was a beautiful sapphire, very much resembling the one that replaced his own eye.
“The maesters said that your wound has healed enough that it could hold a gem comfortably. I chose the sapphire, but if you prefer something else, I can-”
“Aemond.” You interrupted him tearfully. “It’s beautiful. Perfect. I love it.”
“Only the best for you, my love.”
You never thought your life would end up this way. You never thought the situation you found yourself in would end happily, you thought it would end painfully and messy, but it didn’t. You were about to be married to someone you had grown to deeply care about. You were reunited with your family who supported you and loved you just the same as they had before. You finally felt that motherly love you had been craving these past couple months.
As the wedding finally started, everyone in the audience whispered amongst themselves as you walked in, your long flowing white dress dragging along the floor, and a bright blue sapphire in your empty eye socket. You and Aemond stood in front of each other with big smiles on your faces, looking at each other like you two were the only people in the room. You looked at your family, seeing their smiles of approval, making you feel at peace more than you ever have in your life.
After saying your vows, swearing to honor and cherish each other before the Seven, you both sealed the engagement with a passionate kiss. You pulled away as everyone clapped and cheered, each other’s sapphire’s shimmering in the light and reflecting off each other.
The two of you truly looked like you were made for each other.

They say you don’t truly love something until it’s gone, until the thought of never seeing them again is suddenly a possibility, Aemond woke up to an empty bed, and his heart dropped when you came bursting into your shared bedchambers.
The first thing he noticed was the tears that poured from your pained eyes, how shaken you were, and his mind spiralled with horrid thoughts as he immediately made his way towards you, taking your shaky body in his arms.
“What is it?— my love what happened?” He asks, as you gasp through sobs, you couldn’t speak, the words catching in your throat.
You shook your head frantically, hands grasping at your chest as you heave, “Aenys- my boy” you choke, a blocky feeling stifling your breaths as your trembling hands grasp at Aemonds shoulders.
His chest tightens at your broken sentence, and he wants to scream and demand answers but he sees the fear that swims within your eyes, so he takes a deep breath, “What happened?” He asks, his thumb wiping away your stray tears.
“He— he’s gone! He’s gone! I can’t find him Aemond— I can’t find him” You feel your knees buck underneath the weight of the situation, as your hands grasp around his arms trying to stabilise yourself.
He looks around at the room full of guards as he guides you to your shared bed, sitting you down before demanding they prepare for a search, he tells them no one is to eat unless his Son is found and they’re quick to leave the room, each one of them getting ready to look for the missing prince.
The sun is barely rising and already the entirety of the castle is awake, most were woken by your gut-wrenching screams and they’re quick to rush to see what the problem is.
“I will find him. If I have to burn Westeros to the ground I will find him” he tells you, although you can’t really comprehend his words, your mind fuzzy with panic, he can see the despair that hangs around you and it makes him feel hopeless.
Alicent walks into your bedchambers a hand against her chest, news travels fast in the castle, and by the look in her eyes you could tell she already knows what has happened, “My dear, we will find him” she says, hand on yours as you nod weakly.
She watches as her son frantically paces the expanse of the room, taking his sword with his brows knitted together in anger, Alicent walks over to him with a delicate hand on his shoulder, “Aemond, she needs you- stay with her” she says, and he can’t bare to look at your distressed eyes the fear that contorts your face, it hurts him too much.
“I can’t mother- she—“ he trails off, they both look over at you as you rock yourself gently, “I’m going to find him,” he says, with so much determination it leaves little room to doubt his words.
Hours upon hours have passed since this morning, and you haven’t eaten, the thought of it makes you feel queasy and your tears have subsided far too exhausted to bring yourself to cry anymore.
You walk around Aenys’ room, as you look at all of his paintings and books, and your heart shatters at the thought of never seeing him again, you’re so wrapped up with your own thoughts you don’t see your husband walk into the room.
It’s quiet in the room, a lot quieter than you’re used to, you look over at Aemond and you can see the tears that well up in his eye, “Have you eaten?” He asks, voice quiet and broken, he frowns as you shake your head with a small ‘no’, the sun is beginning to set.
“I can’t Aemond— I can’t- Please find my son” you sigh, gently holding one of his paintings, it’s of you and him, and you feel like you can’t breathe, Aemond looks down at the artwork, it’s breathtaking, and he can’t quite believe his boy, of seven, made that.
An overwhelming feeling of regret crashes against him, and he bends down to level with where you’re sitting, “I’m going to find him, my love, I promise you— I will find our son” he tells you, pressing a kiss to your forehead, your hand reaches for his,
“He’s just a boy Aemond, he's so small he can’t protect himself— what if-“ He doesn’t let you finish the sentence, he can't even bare the thought.
“-Don’t, he’s smart,” he says, and your eyes look at his watching as he stands up, “Everyone is looking, my love and we won’t stop until he is found” he promises and you watch as he leaves the room with a solemn heart.
You spend the rest of the day beside Alicent as she tries her best to comfort you, her hand soothing your back as you both wait and wait for any news, the sun has set as you lose hope, and your mind hasn’t stopped reeling with horrifying thoughts.
Alicent asks for some food to be delivered to the room and you’re about to reject the offer yet again but Aemond comes rushing into the room, demanding for Maesters with Aenys in his arms, and you choke at the sight, gasping as you scramble to sit by your sons side as Aemond lays him on your bed.
“What happened?— Where was he? Is he going to be okay?” You panic watching as the Maesters quickly get to work.
“He was in the Dragon pit” Aemond sighs, catching his breath as he sits down beside you, his hand holding Aenys’ small one, as your fingers brush through his hair, you lean to press a kiss to his forehead focusing on the steady rise and fall of his chest, and you cling onto the small amount of hope you have.
The moon hangs high casting its ominous light upon your shared bedchambers, and you watch Aemond light candles around the room as you still sit next to your youngest son.
“Rhaegar, pass me the cloth please my dear,” you ask watching as your oldest son of ten, as he wrings the cold water from the washcloth before handing it to you and you thank him softly before placing it on Aenys’ forehead.
“Will he be okay, Mother?” He whispers, looking down at his brother with saddened eyes and the sight makes Aemonds’ throat close up.
He walks over to you, looking down at his youngest son, “Yes, of course, he will, the blood of the dragon runs within him” he says, looking over at your exhausted face and it pains him deeply to see.
You nod with agreement, “He will be fine” you say, squeezing your husband's hand gently. He looks up at you with a gentle smile.
“Brella, get Rhaegar ready for bed and make sure he has eaten,” Aemond says, watching as the Maesters walk back into the room, and she nods curtly guiding him out the room after you kiss his cheek wishing him goodnight.
“Hold this under his nose, it should wake him,” Maester Orwyle says, gently handing you a small cup of crushed herbs the scent itches at the back of your throat, a second goes by and you watch, worry etched into your face, as your son stirs from his sleep, rubbing at his eyes.
And you sigh in relief as his eyes flutter open, gasping as you take your son in your arms crying with joy as you rock him gently, “Aenys, my precious boy, oh— my sweet sweet boy” you gasp, you pull away hands clasping either side of his face.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?” You ask, studying his face, and he nods, mumbling about how his head is hurting just a little.
Aemond tells Maester Orwyle and he’s quick to prepare some tea. Your husband shuffles to sit next to you bringing you both into his arms, his head resting against Aenys’ and he’s never felt so thankful in his life, his boy is okay.
Aemond smiles as his son snuggles closer to you both, his tiny arms trying their best to wrap around you both, and you laugh at his attempt.
You pull away slightly, “I’ll get you some tea for your head,” you say smoothing down his hair before pressing a kiss to the top of his head.
You thank the Maesters' watching as they take their leave before walking over to the table and preparing the herbs for the tea, you feel Aemonds arms wrap around your waist as you turn to face him.
“Here let me do this, my love, you go eat something,” he says quietly, he can tell how tired you are, how exhaustion lingers in your eyes, and the last thing he wants is you burning yourself.
You nod, your thumb grazing over his cheek, “Thank you Aemond, thank you so much” you whisper leaning to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth, he rests his forehead against yours, and you both go quiet. You hear small giggles as you look over back at the bed, and you both smile at the sight of your son, book in lap as he reads away.
Aemond smiles at the familiar cover, it’s one of his personal favourites, and he comes to slowly realise that perhaps there is more to bond over his son with and he makes a silent vow to you and Aenys to do better by you both.
That night the castle rested calmly knowing the missing prince was found, and you and Aemond both slept very happily with your son between you both, snuggled and safe.
