Once again got inspired by @broken-balance-baby‘s vaas/ajay headcanons because I love it more than I should.

Recently started writing some stuff in hungarian for shits and giggles, and also to practice my writing a bit. Yesterday I wrote some Vaas/Ajay stuff and decided to translate it to english and post it here! I also made an illustration for it, it’ll be at the bottom of the post!
They were on the floor together, Ajay sitting against a wall, Vaas’ back laying against his chest between his spread legs. Both of them high on drugs, drugs that Vaas managed to snatch from the two junkies who have built a tent behind the homestead. It was quiet and calm something they haven’t experienced for a while now, not having to worry about Pagan, the Golden Path, anything. Ajay’s previously closed eyes opened, glancing down at the man laying against him. He was wearing his jacket ofcourse, fucker didn’t plan on bringing anything warm, still wearing the clothes he wore on the Rook Islands. Vaas shaved his head since, said it was to start over. He never noticed before, but his friend, fling or whatever they were sported a large scar on his forehead.
“ Hey Vaas..where did you get this?” He asked, his voice tired and slow, words slurred.
The man against him groaned, fidgeting around a bit making himself comfortable. Withouth an anwser Ajay asked once again:
“The shit on your head. Where did you get it?” Nudging the other man with his knee but he didn’t budge, only letting out a grunt.
Figured the little shit was too high to even anwser him. Ajay lifted his hand putting it onto the other’s head. Vaas grunted, pulling his head away to the side. He put his hand on Vaas’ head again, this time more carefully.
It was an old scar, a slash wound probably. It was such a clean line that an accident couldn’t have caused this. It was an intentional scar. He stroked his fingers over the scar, gently, careful not to disturb Vaas. It felt wierd, the skin was bumpy under his fingers. He stroked back and forth, not paying attention to anything else. Ajay only stopped abruptly, raising his hand when the other man stirred.
“Keep it going. It was nice.” He said, almost uninteligable. “Most people shit their pants when they first saw it.” He chuckled, a painful chuckle. Vaas was clearly insecure about the scar, wishing it was never there.
“ I think it makes you look cool. Who wouldn’t want a cool ass scar?” Ajay continued, caressing his knuckles over his scar. At first he tensed up, probably because he was now concious but a moment later leaned into the touch. Vaas closed his eyes, sighing and not saying a word. Both of them fell silent, slowly coming off their high. He still didn’t know what they were. They were close ofcourse, as friends should be, but they slept ontop of eachother, occasionally jacking each other off. Still, there was no concrete word for them. But he didn’t care, he was half sober anyway and would soon need another puff. Ajay leaned forward, only just a little, placing his lips ontop of the scar. It was quick and affectionate, something that was foreign for the both of them. Vaas didn’t pay much attention but the ends of his lips did perk upwards, into a lazy smirk.
“ I still hate that shit. Everything about it.” Vaas said, sounding much more sober, swatting Ajay’s hand away. “The scar, I mean. You kissin’ it was fine.”
“But I wanted to kiss it better. Not just kiss it fine!” Ajay whined, his whine slowly turning into laugther.
He got punched in the arm for it though, little fucker.
Boyfriend Jacket That one headcanon by @broken-balance-baby where Ajay lends Vaas his jacket popped into my mind and I could not be stopped.
It’s been a hot minute since I drew these two This turned out spicier than I originally intended.
I kinda wanted to wait before I post this, but I couldn’t.
This is probably the only wholesome drawing I’ll make of them before I turn everything angsty and/or horny.
Back to the Ajaas stuff. This is one was inspired by one of the lines in @broken-balance-baby‘s headcanon post.

broken boy, perfect view (snippet)
a long time ago, i wrote probably the only vaas/ajay fic to ever exist, and forgot to finish. i decided to show some of ya’ll what i was writing, the story is about maybe 6 chapters but definitely expected to be less than 10 if i ever continue this. anyway, please enjoy: the first chapter of broken boy, perfect view!
I. no u-turn!
The year is 2005. July. The number isn’t important, just the place it happened to be.
California is weird: Up north is cold, foggy, even, a bit hard for sunshine to come around but it doesn’t snow. Down south is what everybody talks about all the time: where it’s hot, where Hollywood stalks by, and it’s just a little bit hotter than what Ajay is used to.
It’s fine. The neighborhood his mother had put them in is fine too. He’s only been here for about a week and nothing had been out the ordinary yet, not really (not that he was expecting to). Their town is close to the pier and it’s a good walk from a carnival front and back, and the beach is practically open.
The place is fine, and Ishwari isn’t really around as often, so he gets the house to himself but could probably wander elsewhere anyway, so he picks the better idea and steps out.
