The Prince of Winter was accused of conspiring against the royal family, and was beheaded as punishment.
Many believe the queenās spies had turned against her and were in league with the would-be assassinsā¦.
Some say the foreign ambassadors who came bearing gifts had ulterior motives and intended to start a war.
The princess and queen consort escaped in a sudden magical snow, never to be seen againā¦The remaining queen fell into a magical sleep in her despair as the land succumbed to an everlasting winter.
The four great houses fought for the right to reign and assume the queenās power, and so there came a great war. The bloodshed came to an end when they agreed to share power resulting in the separation of the capital, Altadellys, into the Seasons.
Some believe the princess will return, the queens will be reunited, and the long winter beyond the walls of Altadellys will finally end. Generations later that hope still livesā¦
