There's this trend of works that start off by establishing that they're set in 2019 so they don't have to figure out how COVID would impact the plot, and movies set in the recent past so they can write around including cell phones, and that seems uniquely modern, but then you watch a silent movie from the 1920s where a soldier character very pointedly notes that the story takes place in 1911 so you don't have to think about WWI and you realize writers wanting to avoid recent events is eternal

Inktober Day 7: Passport. Here's Jack trying to get into a convention he has a table at with Sammy tagging along in his bag. Hopefully they let him in, he needs to be there to meet someone :P artist @sol-ariium
Inktober Day 8: Hike. Something's been happening around trails and campgrounds in recent weeks. An increase in attacks that leave people mangled in ways Rangers have never seen. They're advising people not to go into the woods because it seems that even firearms aren't enough to stay safe. Artist @pixelerror404

Inktober Day 10: Nomadic! Just a little late featuring Tempest again. They wander from place to place picking up missions and working with whatever they run into. They often camp in random areas or get hotel rooms and they don't stay anywhere for long. Artist @pixelerror404
Inktober day 11: Snack- featuring a type of demon from our comics. They're a type of Possuary, which is an entity or spirit that causes orbs in pictures and videos. These little guys in particular are demonic (not all are) and they don't enjoy being held.
