i used to use only mouse or trackpad to draw growing up, everything else was mechanical pencils and lined notebook paper i got from the dollar store or from school.

i hate seeing people think good quality tools equates directly to skill or the outcome of the piece's "quality". i even made it a point to use my mouse again for a piece on my daily pokemon blog cuz i was tired of seeing that kind of rhetoric.

you CAN draw with whatever you can get your hands on. the only thing stopping you is you.

you CAN make anything work. i wish people would stop equating money with skill, because that's ultimately what it is. more expensive tools = better work, but that's not how art works.

art especially flourishes with limitation, anyways.
