curious : how did yall get into reading dc comics?

I grew up with a dad who was obssessed with collectables his special interest was Joker and Batman and comics in general he rewatched batman movies so much he played some of the animated batman for me as a kid i was hooked i watched the young justice TV show and the Teen Titans TV show religiously as a kid i got into comic buying with my dad soon into the start of New 52 yeah i just missed the before period of comics i read the new 52 teen titans im still going to collect all of them I WILL i owe it to the little kid who was so confused by what was happening but was on board i got into fandom a bit later and now here i am
