Also I’m just gonna keep drawing mermay things in June because I had no motivation in May and I like mermaids

Anglerfish Goddess that comforts me when I'm down. I can see her through any water surface, I normally talk to her through the beach shore... I also dive downwards to see her in person, I've named her Angie, she seems to like the name.

New characters! I just finished drawing and I already love these two

Their names are Angie (the big fish lady) and Finn! (Little fish boy)

They' re both angler fish and totally in love with each other but too embarrassed to admit it

I don't really have a story for them but I imagine in angler fish... Society, I guess?? They're both outcasts cause she's smaller than the average female angler fish and he's bigger than the average male. (Also, if you didn't know, female angler fish are the ones with the lights and males are just these tiny little guys! Which is why I like to think he's itty bitty compared to her (like he's 5 foot something and she's over 6 feet))

Okay so the lady dying is ruti's aunt, in the beginning you can see the "void infection" killing her, (idk I made it up, id assume the void infection is what one would get from dealing with a lot of void lockers)

Ruti's aunt was a worker forced to experiment on her niece (ruti) against her will, though she was the one that put her through it all, ruti and her had a great bond, well until she died that is,

Orea, as an Angler mermaid, lives in the midnight zone.

Here is Orea the Anglerfish in full colour. They are 7 feet long and will freak out deep sea divers or their drones.
