Arleen Sorkin, the original voice and inspiration of Harley Quinn has died. She gave us one of the best Batman villains ever and will always be remembered.
R.I.P 1955-2023
Let it be known that Harley Quinn was an invention of Batman: The Animated Series, and Arleen Sorkin is the voice who brought the character to life.
Batman fans owe a lot of this character to her, and I hope she rests in peace.

She might be best known for her role as Harley Quinn in Batman: The Animated Series, in which she had a major impact on how that character was created. From Harley’s accent and personality, to her Jewishness and appearance, it was all Arleen.
She will be dearly missed by her friends, family, & fans.

Rip Arleen Sorkin. The inspiration and original VA for Harley Quinn from the Batman: The Animated Series. Without her, their would be no Harley Quinn.
It’s especially a hard hit as Harley Quinn is what got me into Batman and DC comics.
