“I enthusiastically headcanon Donnie as aroace (and nonbinary), but not because he’s autistic. It’s really because I’m projecting onto him…a ton (I’m also autistic, but that’s beside the point). And the only really interesting and fun aroace representation I’ve seen elsewhere is Alastor from Hazbin Hotel. If I can’t have any other representation in mainstream media, at least let me have my favorite character… T^T
I won’t stop anyone from having other headcanons for him, though. Different opinions and ideas are part of what make fandoms so great. :)”
