Hello, so, I guess this my first like kinda official post that isn’t like- a meme or an offering?
I wanted to tell people that sometimes the gods are always with you. I am a trans man, but I grew up as a little girl. In my childhood I was obsessed with mythology and in particular, Artemis. I read every myth my 5th grade hands could get on and named each of my new video game accounts after her. I still have gamer tags with her name to this day.
As I got older, I realized that I am a man. And then I got into witchcraft and paganism. As I developed my practice, I wondered if I could ever work with Artemis. I put this idea in my head that I couldn’t because I was a man. I put this idea that she hated me and I could never work or worship her.
I’m here to tell you that is wrong.
Lady Artemis does not hate men nor does she hate me. She protected me my entire childhood and didn’t stop when I came out as trans. If anything- she supported me. She has always been there, much to my fears that she wasn’t.
To any trans men who feel that they can’t worship a god due to their gender identity, please don’t feel that way. Read into their myths, talk to them, I promise you it is ok.
And to Lady Artemis, thank you. Thank you for being with me and encouraging every step I take, even without me knowing.

So, I never did an altar post or anything like that. Mainly because my altars are MESSY, however. I wanted to show yall that you can practice any where. I moved for college and was worried that I wouldn’t have any spaces for my deities. But I do! Sure- it’s small, but at the end of the day it is your practice, not anyone else’s. Do what makes you happy, what makes you comfortable. Picture below of what I did. I have an antler for Lady Artemis, Fernando (the owl sculpture) for Lady Athena, and a dice for Lord Hermes. Everything else is pretty much crystals because I love a good rock.
