Because the resentment is real and hard to admit, but easy to show and convey. Because it stems from jealousy and envy and the wish for things to be different.

I'm not up to date with the lore, but I watched a small moment of a 20+ min clip. Hearing that "For 15 years!" and "You abandoned me!" repeated over and over between them was enough to tell me what happened. To hear from tumblr that q!bagi and q!cellbit are nnot just siblings, but also twins (not a joke).... hits me. your final sentence. hits closer than home. closer than the heart.

cellbit clearly resents bagi for having what he views as a "perfect life" and yeah.. bagi probs didnt have to murder and cannibalize to survive. but what could bagi do about that exactly? what did bagi do...

siblings who both grew up in a bad situation often grow to hate the other for so so many complicated reasons but the fact of the matter is they are usually Both victims of the same monster. in this case, the fed.

only when the siblings realize that they've been pitted against each other, and strive to piss off whoever did that by working together, can they truly help eachother heal from the trauma of their childhoods.

even when a sibling has done harm to another, even when things are not balanced, even when shit sucks, you suck it up. because you realize that you were the same age, the same capability, and you did what you fucking could.

you tuck that anger and resentment aside for what happened and didn't happen, because you have to.

im not saying cellbit and bagi have to be close after this, im not even saying they have to look eachother in the eye. but my gods i nEED cellbit to realize that resenting his sister for something she could not control is needlessly cruel. i love you wet cat boy, and i empathize with you immensly, please

its still there, as much as cellbit will hate it, they still have a relationship, a tie. maybe they have complete opposite personalities, and maybe they're both not the same, but there will always be an undercurrent of understanding. of you and me, we're made of the same stuff, we have the same roots and the same eyes.

q!cellbit and q!bagi are siblings/ twins?? If they are confirmed twins, I hope the tje fanfic writers do them justice. especially if the writers dont have siblings or or dont' have a twin or never had twins in their life/ family.
