hey guys, tumblr deleted my asks and i couldn't reply to ANY of them. so to the moots, anonys etc who sent them to me... i didn't reply for that reason. i tried to recover them and nothing so far :( does this platform hate me??? idk, but i just wanted to let you know 🥺
i saw these hate asks and since i'm a teacher (and some of my friends were attacked in this) i just want to explain a little something.
first of all. INTERPRETATION and the meaning of things.
from the moment write a FANFIC (fan: the name explains itself – and fic: of FICTION) nothing there is real. they are characters. characters means: role played by an actor or actress based on a fictional human figure created by an author. FICTIONAL, you see.
and secondly: if memory serves me right, all the blogs mentioned write obscenity for people over 18. people over 18 who can drink, smoke, have sex because, amazingly, they OWN THEIR NOSES. just like all the writers who are over 18 too.
writing something or even dressing up in this scenario is not wrong, because nothing is outside the law. there's no harassment, no disrespect, no immorality. and besides, all fics usually have warnings for exactly that reason.
if people don't like reading, that's fine. there's a whole world of enhypen stories here to suit all tastes, i swear there'll be a bit of everything if you look. now coming anonymously and attacking people who are here purely for fun is ridiculous, cowardly, clueless!
please, let them commit sins, let them live their lives. the only perfect person in this world (for christians) was Jesus Christ and even then he was crucified. i'm not a christian, but i just wanted to remind you of that.

i read the whole thing just to see the absurdities, but regardless of the clearly forced "apology", there's no excuse for this. being racist in 2024, or at any time, is not only a CRIME, it's disgusting and says a lot about the character and nature of those who think it's a joke.
people DIE for it. people are constantly massacred, discriminated against, isolated, because of the color of their skin, because of their history. this context of idiotic joking – which isn't the slightest bit funny – and this farce that country X is okay to say these things, doesn't exist. you thinking it's normal to say something like this doesn't say anything about your country being conniving with it, it says how scummy you are.
i'm beyond disappointed because i was mutual with both of them, one of them being very close to whom i had great affection.
i have no tolerance whatsoever for racism, regardless of how close i am to the person. racism and any discrimination for me is zero tolerance. so in addition to the disappointment, i want to distance myself from this kind of thing.
disgusting attitudes that, in my opinion, were only apologized for out of concern... not for being canceled etc as you mentioned several times, but for how much you would lose in likes and interactions here on tumblr, because apparently that's all you cared about.
and to think that one day I defended both of them from the "attacks" they received without knowing who they really were. how disgusting!
i'm sorry i was friends with one of them and interacted with both of them, this will never happen again.

i thought about whether i should make this post or not for a little bit, especially because the two parties involved apologized (even though it doesn't sound genuine at all to me, more of a "i'm apologizing just because someone said something")
